I’ve been to many offices in San Diego and north county, but this is where I will stay! I received such a great service from everybody: receptionist, nurse and doctor Jim. He was so knowledgeable, patient and to the point. Love the relaxed and clean atmosphere too, highly recommend, best dentist in North county!

Dr Salazar is the absolute best dentist! I have been his patient for over 10 years. He is very gentle and professional. I love his office staff as well. They are very accommodating and it’s easy to make appointments. He and his entire office treat you like family. I have complete trust and confidence in him. I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. I highly recommend him!!!

A crown I had cracked and completely broke late this past Thursday night. I was scheduled to fly back east for my nephews wedding on Friday. My dentist is off on Friday. I didn’t know who to call. I read the reviews for Purely Dental and called their office early Friday morning. Carolyn and the rest of the staff went above and beyond and fit me into their morning schedule. I have been a patient of Dr. Salazar’s for over 10 years. About five years ago I moved to LA from San Diego. I still drive two hours to see Dr. Salazar at least once a year when it is x-ray time. I truly trust him reading my x-rays. I have a dentist that I see in LA for cleanings and emergencies, but Dr. Salazar is still my dentist! He has a very gentle manner to him and is not pushy or arrogant at all. Yesterday, I came to his beautiful new ultra modern office for the first time. Carolyn at the reception desk is the best and she always tries to accommodate me with my appointments coming in from out of town. Carolina cleaned my teeth and she was very gentle and through. I even enjoyed the comfy chair and flat screen TV with head phones. Also, don’t forget his wife Dr. Schreiner, she cleaned my teeth the last time and is great as well! For those lucky enough to live in San Diego or North County, look no further for an excellent dental office!

Purely Dental in Encinitas is hands down the best dental practice! I have been a patient of the Salazar’s for years and would drive any distance for their dental services. The office has state of the art equipment with the latest technology. Every procedure is thoroughly explained and documented on the flat screen. I always have piece of mind while I’m in the chair because I know what ever issue I am having is properly addressed and corrected. Everything I want in a dentist. Bright open and clean professional space with super friendly staff and excellent pain free care. Anyone that fears going to see their dentist needs to switch to Dr. Schneider and Dr. Salazar.

Dr Salazar does fantastic work. He is so gentle that I did not even feel the shot he gave me before beginning work. He is extremely professional and I appreciate the way he tells me everything he’s doing as he does. I highly recommend him!

This morning I went for my consultation with Dr. Salazar, and I can say without hesitation that my visit exceeded all expectations. Finding a new dentist after moving out of state can be tricky, but luckily we nailed it on our first try. Dr. Salazar was kind, attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. The office staff and hygenists were kind and caring, and my entire consultation went smoothly. I am already looking forward to going back. I highly recommend Purely Dental, Dr. Salazar, and the entire staff. Oh, and the office was IMMACULATE. Cherry on the icing on the cake!

If I could give Dr. Salazar a 6th star I would… Let me just begin by saying it’s not easy to find a dentist that you can not only trust, but that truly takes the time and effort to make your experience comfortable and seamless, not to mention 5 star quality. There are many dentists to choose from, and many try to market themselves with low pricing, and claim that they are more affordable to lure people into their offices, and then try to up-sell the patient on a bunch of unnecessary work that needs to be done. I’m 38 years old, lived in many different places all over the U.S., and have encountered many different types of dental practices. I can say without a doubt, that Dr. Salazar, by far, has exceeded any and all expectations of what good looks like. The office is very professional, clean, and spa like, with top of the line equipment. You know you are getting the best of the best when you go there. As far as Dr. Salazar, from start to finish, he is a true top notch professional. He never will tell someone that they need services that they don’t need, and the office is more than willing to quote out a price for services rendered, so that individuals can financially plan and decide what works best for them. Dr. Salazar had told me that my two front incisors had eroded, which is a common occurrence for most, and that I probably needed to get veneers at some point. I had him do a cost estimate, and he even broke down the cost of using a mastery level, compared to a high level artist for the lab. I decided that I wanted to move forward after some thought, and really the only reason I was hesitating is that I have seen other people with veneers, and they looked like fake teeth. I never questioned the quality of Dr. Salazar’s work, but in trusting how great of a dentist he truly is, I proceeded forward with the work. Getting veneers, is somewhat of a process, you need to get molds done, and then they install temporary veneers, while the finished product is being processed at the lab. From beginning to end, Dr. Salazar made me feel at ease, his work was impeccable. In fact, when he put in my temporaries, I literally thought they were the finished product, because they were done so well and looked so natural. By the time the final veneers came back, they were immaculate! They matched my teeth so exact, that there is no way anyone would ever tell they were veneers. The quality, time, precision and talent that Dr. Salazar displays is rare and hard to find. I would recommend him to anyone, and I feel so grateful that I have the best Dentist in town to treat me for anything I may need. Another great thing about the office is that his wife Marnie also works as a Dentist, and she is also amazing. Together they make the perfect team. So if you want true 5 star, quality and top notch service, you should take your dental needs to Purely Encinitas Dental. They can help with any age group, even children. At the end of the day, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR… And in my book, there is no price I wouldn’t pay for my teeth. 🙂
