My grandmother introduced my parents to Dr. Choi and they passed on the favor to me. I had a crown fall off and needed it repaired quickly. I had recently changed jobs and my new HMO has limited dentist options. Even though Dr. Choi isn’t part of my limited HMO, I decided to give him a try based on my family’s rave reviews. Dr. Choi has a kind and comfortable bedside manner and he was able to quickly repair my tooth and even made it fit better than before. Even though he knew I would likely not return due to my HMO situation, he didn’t charge me for the work! FREE! I was floored as this was unlike any dentist visit I’d ever had. Dr. Choi came highly recommended by a close (and trusted) family friend of ours when my dad was experiencing some major teeth issues. My dad is someone who has feared going to the dentist all of his life (partly due to the fact that most of them did a poor job and also because most of them advised him to undergo procedures not because he needed them but because they were $$$). However, his opinion has completely changed about going to the dentist since he started seeing Dr. Choi. All of Dr. Choi and his staff are extremely friendly and wonderful. Raymond Choi DDS is without a doubt the best dentist I’ve ever visited! First and foremost, Dr. Choi is SUPER gentle. He is always concerned about my comfort. Second, his work is masterful. I have veneers covering three of my front teeth. It takes a dentist who’s also an artist to make a really good veneer, and that’s Dr. Choi. My new veneers look better, feel better, and are substantially stronger than my last ones. He’s also done several crowns and fillings for me over the years and I’ve been very happy with all of his work. Lastly, he works with an excellent staff. They always take great care of me from the moment I walk through the door. I really can’t say enough good things about Dr. Choi and his office.

I first met Dr. Choi approximately 3 years ago. I made an appointment with him because I wanted to consult with him about the prospect of getting permanent teeth/dentures. I explained on my first visit that I experienced anxiety just walking into a dentist office. I wish I had met him 20 years ago!! Throughout the entire process he went overboard to put me at ease, thoroughly explaining each step and always making sure I was comfortable and well informed before moving on. Dr. Choi is an incredibly skilled and empathetic dentist. I recently got into an accident, causing me to need 2 root canals for 2 of my 3 chipped teeth. He was very gentle to the touch and attentive to my needs, making sure I was comfortable even though my teeth were causing me much pain. He successfully performed the first stage of my root canals and the pain I felt from my once-exposed nerves seized to continue. He was able to refer me to a prosthodontist for the next stage of my treatment. I really appreciate his service and genuine will to serve his patients. I will definitely return for regular check-ups!

I have known Dr. Choi and his staff for many years. I went to Dr. Choi for a consultation on possibly replacing a tooth/crown I have with one of his mini implants. He recommended I keep my natural tooth/crown until it is a necessity. I also got a second opinion for my wife on a root canal vs a tooth extraction (don’t remember the exact issue). The procedure was outside of his expertise, but I felt comfortable knowing he would give me his honest opinion and he recommended completing the treatment by the other dentist. Unlike other dentists I have visited, he is not trying to push unnecessary procedures and took the time to explain the options. He may not offer rock-bottom pricing, but in cases like cosmetic dentistry you get what you pay for and you definitely want the best. His staff is always very nice and patient with me on the phone as well. His office is clean and has never been crowded. I have to emphasize how clean it is and the lack of that “dentist office smell” from old, dirty offices I have been to.

I highly recommend Dr. Choi! My elderly mother is a very difficult patients to say the least. She has a severe movement disorder making her difficult to treat. She also has a predisposition to hating dentists. I quote, “Why should they get my hard earned money?!?” It got to the point that we had to do something about her rotting teeth. I kid you not, we visited 5 dentists before we were recommended to Dr. Choi. My mom has no dental insurance. None of the dentists had treated a patient with Huntington’s Disease before but came up various expensive options. Dr. Choi thoughtfully researched the disease to come up with the best solution. He took his time thinking about it and even changed his opinion before we started. That showed me and my mom he really cares about her unique situation. I was so impressed my entire family switched to him and I have recommended him to several friends. Debbie is in the front office and is the best! She really knows how insurance works and makes you feel like the center of the universe when you enter the office! Cathie is the hygienist. She does a great job and is super friendly! We never have to wait for our appointment . When I have been in the waiting room while my mom was being seen I would enjoy talking to other patients if there were any because everybody is so nice and they all seem to love Dr. Choi. Many dentists with big school loans to pay off have become more like used car salesmen than medical professionals. Dr. Choi can be trusted to help you make the best decisions for your dental care based on your individual situation. You should give him and his fabulous office staff a try next time you need to go to the dentist.
