My husband and I drive all the way from Los Angeles every six months because they are that good here. They treat everyone like friend/family and have the most comprehensive cleaning I have ever had in my life. They are very gentle and truely want to know if you are experiencing the tiniest bit of pain so they can stop it and figure out what the problem is so that you have the healthiest mouth around. I had tried several dentist in Los Angeles who all said I needed crowns or wanted to charge excessive amounts for things I knew I did not need. Dr. Tanaka and Leong worked with my schedule and confirmed that I only needed a cavity filled and a cleaning unlike what the other places said. I was able to wear the Bose noise cancelling headphones they provided and did not hear or feel a thing the whole time they were repairing my very big cavity. Even if I lived in Australia or somewhere else, I would still come here to get my teeth taken care of.

Dr. Tanaka and Dr. Leong have been my family dentists now for about five years. I have nothing but great things to say about them, their staff, and their practice. A major reason why I left my original family dentists (had been seeing them for over 10 years), was because they started to find things that were “wrong” with my teeth every visit, despite not changing anything about my tooth brushing routine or diet. There was always something additional they said that needed to be done and eventually I took my business elsewhere. At Dr. Tanaka and Dr. Leong’s office it is the complete opposite. All the staff are friendly, they treat you like family, and are always extremely helpful. I haven’t had one bad experience at all. Additionally, they never “find” anything wrong with my teeth after every appointment. I know everyone hates going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to my appointments knowing full well it’ll be a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone else in the area looking for a great team of dentists and hygienists.

I can’t say enough about Dr Tanaka, he treats you like family the minute you walk into the office. His staff have fun at work and make you feel at home as well. . Tanaka and Dr. Leong are the best! The staff is first-rate, always asking about my dental and personal needs. I told Ray and Cindy that they should start a dental practice management company to teach other dentists how to hire and retain staff. I always feel very welcome. As for the treatment, both dentists are top flight. They continually take education courses from some of the best sources in dentistry today to keep their skills sharp and learn new techniques. I don’t have particularly good teeth and have needed crowns, fillings and gum work. All of the procedures were done well with a minimum of pain. In fact, both dentists inject the anesthesia so slowly that I feel nothing at all. I give Drs. Tanaka and Leong and their wonderful staff my highest rating and would recommend them to everyone. Five stars are not enough.

Awesome staff and service, my family dentist retired after going to him for over 20 years. I tried different dentist office for over 2 years then an oral surgeon referred me to Dr. Tanaka. This is the best dental office in the valley, bar none! Not only are Dr Tanaka and Dr Leong both excellent dentists, but they are beyond professional and have put together an amazing staff of dental professionals. The admin staff treats us patients like family, and they bend over backwards to work with my schedule which takes me out of town weekly. My husband has been going to the practice of Dr. Raymund Tanaka and Dr. Cynthia Leong for about seven years. I was seeing another dentist because a friend had referred me to her. My husband kept wanting me to switch to this practice, but I am too loyal I suppose. In April of this year, I had an accident that resulted in major damage to my front bottom teeth. I knew at that time, I needed the real experts and so I made an emergency appointment with Drs. Tanaka and Leong. When I entered the office that morning, I instantly felt at ease. I knew I was in the best possible hands and that I would be well taken care of. I had complete trust in the doctors and the staff. They were so sensitive to my fear and showed great empathy and patience. They were able to stabilize my injury with a temporary bridge which also relieved the intense pain. They also took time to walk me through the next steps and options explaining that I needed oral surgery followed by reconstructive work. They also referred me to Southwest Oral Surgery for the extractions and bone graph (also amazing; see my Yelp review). I had the oral surgery today, and my follow up appointments for the reconstructive work with Drs. Tanaka and Leong have been scheduled. The staff is incredibly efficient, professional, caring and at the top of their respective professions. This practice functions like a highly tuned machine. There is a strong cohesion among the team and such a sense of harmony and well being when you enter the door. They love what they do and it shows! I have never experienced a dental practice this. They are so special! I HIGHLY recommend the dental practice of Drs. Tanaka / Dr. Leong and team

Just replaced 2 old crowns on front teeth. Put it off for years because hadn’t found a dentist I trusted to do this delicate work. Knew there wasn’t much tooth left and wanted to avoid implants. Raymund Tanaka came highly recommended by others in dental field. Watched his TEDx Talk. Was impressed with new patient exam, prophy and knowledgeable explanations. So, decided to trust Ray’s assessment that there was enough tooth base for crowns. He was correct. Also visited dental lab Ray uses – it’s first class. Ray’s standards are the highest. His work was meticulous, unhurried, and assistants well-trained. Know we finally found the right dentist for us and it’s a big relief. We also have high standards and know “BEST” when we see it.
