First off, thank you Dr. Rebecca for casting my fears away. I was a child who was traumatized by my then dentist, which led me to neglect my dental visits as an adult. But I love Dr. Rebecca and her staff! Everyone was so warm and inviting. I had to have a few teeth pulled and my process was so gentle I didn’t even realize anything was being pulled. Doctor also followed up on how I was feeling the day after, which I truly appreciated. I will recommend her to everyone I know who needs dental work or checkup done.

When a toothache occurs during the weekend, especially Sunday when most dentistry are closed, Dr. Irene A Pena, DMD came to my rescue. Out of all the dentist I contacted within my network, she was the only one that responded back with a text. She was able to accommodate me the next morning. I was able to endure the pain for one more day and at 7:00 A.M. Monday morning, she opened the doors to get me in, her staff was kind and polite and made me feel comfortable and within minutes I was sitting on the hot seat for Dr. Pena to check and see what was causing my crazy tooth ache. Sure enough my left side molar was the cause and gave me the option whether to be extracted, root canal, or implants after the extraction, we pulled the tooth out and the pain was gone. The whole process was painless and I have to say, if you are looking for a dentist who is good and what they do with the staff to work who can work as a team to help you out, Dr. Pena, DMD and her staff will no disappoint you. I do plan soon to get the tooth replaced with an implant but for now, Thanks again Dr. Pena!

Awesome Dentist, Had trouble finding a reliable dentist for many years that I would rather not get work done in my mouth. Now I feel comfortable once again after coming into this dentistry. Not only that they keep you updated with your appointments and keep track of the work that has been done plus pictures. I wouldn’t second guess to recommend this place to anybody. Special Thanks to Doctor Pena and her staff!

Dr. Pena installed a crown over my tooth and also performed a surgery to remove my wisdom tooth which was actually a very special case. I am very happy with the quality of work that was performed on both of my teeth and would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs one of the mentioned jobs done. She is also very flexible with time and is willing to work with your schedule. She also pays a special attention to emergencies.

I am extremely fortunate to have my sister, Dr. Rebecca Irene Alcazaren Pena — Dr. Ware as my dentist in Los Angeles. I look forward to her treatments every chance I get when I visit or travel to business to LA from the San Francisco Bay Area where I live and work. She is the best dentist in all of L.A. , and it’s not just because of her state-of-the art private practice in Lakewood especially her one-day dentistry machine – the CEREC. It’s a dental device that allows crowns for example, to be milled and restored in one day, so you don’t have to wait and come back for the labs to send back your crown – it only takes about an hour. In my last visit, I actually had 2 crowns, a filling and a mouth guard fitting — all finished – both permanent crowns and a permanent filling — in just about 3 1/2 hours –so convenient! Most importantly it’s because Dr. Ware has the lightest touch, is extremely knowledgeable about all the latest treatments, and takes care of me throughout the process efficiently and very thoughtfully. She also supervises her staff in a very professional, kind and competent way for maximum results. Her staff is amazing! It is clear that she treats all her patients just like me, like family.

I went into Dr. Pena with tooth pain following a botched filling my long term dentist had installed barely a month earlier. She quickly went through a diagnostic routine and figured out what the problem was. She recommended we wait until I was back from a trip I had scheduled. When I was back she took my fillings out, dressed them with desensitizing gel to help with the pain, put in a temporary sedative filling to help calm down the tooth. The procedure worked very well. My tooth pain and sensitivity was gone within less than a day. After waiting a week, she installed permanent fillings to finish the procedure. She even assisted me with contacting my insurance to have them help pay for the procedure despite the other dentist already billing my insurance. I’m glad I sought her out for a second opinion. Her office is small and quaint. You definitely get a personal touch that you don’t get with typical, assembly line dentist offices that have a dozen or more people waiting to see the dentist for 5 minutes before getting a cleaning and an appointment card.

Dr. Rebecca Pena is a wonderful and awesome dentist. She’s been my family’s dentist for years. She has the lightest and most caring hands, you’ll feel relaxed and comfortable at all times. And the filling she did to my daughter’s molars really look so clean and natural. I am glad she’s our family dentist

Okay I’m not exactly sure where to begin ..I’m going to try to keep it as short as possible and straight to the point. I have very very bad anxiety and I stress myself to the point I can’t stop crying and just have a very bad time being relaxed. I think my fear was caused from unpleasant dental visits as a child and throughout adulthood. I’ve been having a really bad tooth ache for a while. The pain would come and go but it finally got to the point that it was unbearable. I actually felt like the pain was in my left ear.  A bit discouraged with finding a dentist during this covid-19 stuff going on I hopped on yelp and proceeded to look for dentist that had experience with treating clients with anxiety. Dr. Pena had very good reviews which prompt me to call. I reached out to Dr.Pena and she was really nice over the phone, she ordered me a prescription to help with pain and set me up for a next day appointment to be seen.  Today was my first time visiting Dr.Pena and I can honestly say this was the best experience I’ve ever had in my life with visiting the dentist. She explained everything to me step by step. She and her assistant ( I don’t remember her name we’re so nice and attentive and caring) she numbed me very very good. The best numbing I’ve ever had. I’ve had experiences of not being numbed enough and feeling terrible pain during procedures. She knows exactly what she’s doing and completed my root canal quickly. I felt pretty embarrassed at how bad I was crying during the procedure. I always humiliate myself,lmao and SMH. It’s hard to explain but in that moment I actually feel like I’m dying… Thank goodness there weren’t any children in the office. This experience has really changed how I feel about visiting the dentist. Even though I cried my heart out, I feel really proud of myself. Well anyways , I have to go back in a month or so to get the root canal completed. I already feel much better and I know what to expect now. I am so grateful to this wonderful professional and nice Dentist. I look forward to taking better care of my teeth and visiting the office in the future. I highly recommend Dr.Pena. Damn this turned into a dissertation review,lol! P.S the office is clean, there is ample parking as well!

Friendly staff, excellent service, caring & professional! Highly recommended! Dr. Pena is very thorough in each dental work , professional, knowlegeable , patient and caring. She is gentle and makes you feel comfortable and relax and pain-free. She is very personal, follows up with me in the evening after a dental procedure to make sure I am okey. My family has been with her for more than 6 years now. Her Hygienist Gail is vibrant and warm spirited; cleaning is done perfectly and with checks for any concern for oral cancer. Her assistants and staff Jazmine are pleasant and professional as well. Flexible with scheduling & in terms of payments.

I was in agonizing pain…. it was literally the worst tooth ache ever that lasted two days too long. I called Dr. Pena office early in the morning to see if I can get a same day appt.  By the grace of god, she was able to squeeze me into her fully booked schedule within the next hour. This place is Amazing.  I was in the dental chair 10 mins after walking through the front door.  Dr. Pena is the best. She was my relief… She took care of me like no other.  She walked me through the procedure and was gentle in every step of the way.  SHE CARES!!!! She even text me that night to make sure I was feeling ok. What dentist does that ? She does!!!! She’s AWESOME!!!!
