I have been a patient of Dr. Sang Yum for several years. Dr. Yum and his staff in Redmond Dental Care are very professional, friendly, and welcoming. I have consistently received excellent dental care from Dr. Yum and his staff. Dr. Yum is very knowledgeable in his field, and he ensures that his dental procedures are performed perfectly. Most recently, I had an implant when Dr. Yum performed a superior job. Before performing the implant procedure, he explained to me in details my alternative options, and described how the implant procedure will be performed. I feel comfortable and pleased that I made the right decision. I highly recommend Dr. Sang Yum and the Redmond Dental Care office staff.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Dr. Yum’s explanation is always detailed and thorough in layman terms so I can have complete picture of the treatment. Staff is very friendly, efficient and always ready to help. Even dough it was short, I enjoyed talking to them while waiting. Overall, the office is very professional, clean and the whole facility was extremely well equipped. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend Dr. Yum to my family members.

Look no further. Have your dental needs met by Dr. Yum and his perpetually friendly office staff. (These people are genuinely friendly. He hires well.) This dentist wields some particularly steady hands and is a skilled technician. He’s been my dentist for roughly fifteen years, and I have yet to not leave his office impressed by the speed, thoroughness, and precision of his work. There’s no way I’d refer friends, family, or co-workers anywhere else.

Dr Yum is an excellent dentist, very precise and careful, does a great job of explaining anything that you want explained, and is always in a good mood! I have been going there for more than 5 years. I always enjoy being there. Everybody in the office there is great and all the dental results are perfect. I’ve had several crowns done there, all good. Go there! And when you do, check out the receptionist’s fingernail art. Wow!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Sang Yum for at least 20 years now, and no matter where I have lived in Puget Sound I have driven to his office for cleanings, checkups, fillings and other treatments. I first went in fearing I needed a third root canal on a tooth and Dr Yum diagnosed me as having a bite problem, fixed my bite and solved my problem. He’s amazing at figuring out what is going on and acting before expensive intervention is required.

Sure, there are lots of skilled dentists on the Seattle East Side. I’d still recommend Dr. Yum every time. I’ve been a patient for the past fifteen years, and I trust the quality of his work. He’s also an honest professional who’s never pressured me to have an unnecessary procedure– I love that. Anytime a friend or work colleague asks if I know of a good dentist, I send them to Dr. Yum. He and his friendly office crew make even a visit to the dentist a positive experience.

Long-time patient, prolific referrer, never once dissatisfied. Excellent bedside manner. Every bit as important, the denal hygienists at this practice have been generally excellent since my first visit in 1986 (!) Dr. Yum and his staff continue a long legacy of dental excellence in Redmond. I was actually a patient of Dr. Yum’s back in the late 90’s as a member of the US Army Active Duty (Fort Lewis.) I still remember him as one of the only great healthcare providers I had while serving.

Dr. Yum and Redmond Dental Care are fantastic – always very attentive, reasonable in addressing any dental issues, and the staff follow up is fantastic. Do not mistake Redmond Dental Care and Dr. Yum for Redmond Dental, which just opened around the corner is what appears to be an attempt to steal the great reputation and long standing great service of Dr. Yum and his staff by naming itself almost exactly the same. Redmond Dental CARE is where you want to go.

I found Dr. Yum via a simple google search for dentists in my area two years ago. I’ve been going every 6 months ever since and have referred 4 coworkers to his practice during that time – all have come back very impressed and happy with the service. Dr. Yum and his staff are extremely kind and helpful, I couldn’t dream of a better dentist experience! His team is also very prompt – sometimes I arrive a few minutes early to my appointment and they see to me right away. I have nothing but praise and thanks for Redmond Dental Care and I recommend Dr. Yum to anyone looking for a dentist in the area. You’ll be in good hands with Redmond Dental Care!.

I look forward to seeing Dr. Yum and his staff twice a year. When I moved to the area around 12 years ago I saw a few different dentist who were terrible and wanted to do everything right there and then. Dr. Yum and his staff treated me as though they’d be seeing me for the next 20 years, not as if this was that were the only time they’d ever see me. They are so nice, professional and they all do excellent work. Even after my insurance ended this year they offered to clean my teeth at a significant discount which I truly appreciate!

I have been going to see Dr. Yum and his team for a number of years now and have always been impressed with the care they provide. Dr. Yum is dedicated to his craft and is constantly going to seminars and staying current on all the latest trends in dentistry. I don’t think I’ve had a bad or painful experience. For as long as I love her I’ll be seeing Dr. Yum — PLEASE NOTE: Dr. Yum’s practice is called “Redmond Dental *Care*” – not to be confused with the fly-by-night shop that has opened up next door under the moniker “Redmond Dental” there is only one true Dr. Yum and I’m proud to have him has my dentist!!

I’ve been going to Redmond Dental Care for almost 20 years. Dr Yum provides excellent care and takes the time to explain things and answer all questions. Very nice man. His staff, hygienists as well as administrative, are professional and courteous. I highly recommend Redmond Dental Care as your primary dental provider.

I have been visiting Dr. Yum’s office for 3 years. I went to Redmond Dental Care last week to do crown filling.I was a little bit nervous about sanitization of the clinic before going in due to Covid-19. After the visit, I was content with what Dr. Yum and staff are doing to secure safety for patients. They follow all the safety guildlines like temperature check, mask wearing, seats are covered with disposable plastic coverings and all. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience.

I have been seeing Dr. Yum and his team for many years including my recent visits for implants and every time I left his office as happy and satisfied patient and customer. Dr. Yum and his staff are highly professional and experienced, making you feeling at home and showing how much they care about patients. I have always recommended Dr. Yum to my friends when I am asked for the best dentist and my friends really appreciated me after their great experiences with Dr. Yum.

Honestly my dentist Dr Yum is awesome!!! If you’re looking for a high tech, clean, and knowledgeable dental office. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is a great waiting room with video games and movies for children. The hygienist was gentle during my teeth cleaning and the process was quick. Dr. Yum treated several of my teeth. The procedure was painless and quick. Dr. Yum explained everything that was going to happen. So that I was aware of what he was doing. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist! They are wonderful with children too!

I love Dr Yum and my hygienist from his practice! I saw multiple other dentists before Dr Yum who only suggested to remove my wisdom teeth. Dr Yum was able to solve my problem in 1 short appointment without such removal (which you can imagine how much would hurt and cost). My hygienist is fantastic lady, very attentive and caring. I love you!

I’ve started going to Dr. Yum to fix my teeth when I lived in Redmond a while ago, and even though I’ve moved to Seattle now, it’s worth the occasional drive back here to get the best treatment. His skills, communication and team are top notch, and his conservative approach makes me feel safe that I won’t be pushed into any unnecessary treatment or procedures. Highly recommended!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Yum and his staff for several several years now and can’t imagine going any place else. Gentle and quick teeth cleaning. Easy to get to office, tons of parking. I always trust Dr. Yum. He is always helpful and informative, always willing to explain exactly what he’s doing and what is going on. I am very happy to have found Dr. Yum and recommend him to everyone!

TLDR: great professionalism and friendly atmosphere, they’ve got my trust. My experience with Redmond Dental Care is just about as great as dentistry experience can be. Staff treats me like an old friend every time I come over and seem to remember my preferred name and where I’m from:) Dr Yum never fails to impress me with his professionalism: never any hassle or bs, treatment options are clear and reasonable, all my questions patiently answered and explained, etc. Highly recommend their services.

I did visit last August 7th. I haven’t been there for a while because I was relocated to Reno, NV last year. My family found another dentist here Reno, NV fortunately. And I had a business trip to Seattle this August. I gave a call to make an appointment and got a check-up and annual exam. They never disappoint me. I am very satisfied with their service – filling, cleaning, any other clinic. All of my family including my 3 kids love there too. I was always seated on time as I have an appointment. Dr. Yum was always kind and nice. I did feel that I am really taken care of. He explain well and recommend me to take care of my teeth properly. I was very impressed with the hygienists. There were several hygienists there and I have experience with two of them. They did deep cleaning my teeth very carefully and gently. That was really good to me. Because I felt very painful when I got deep cleaning service at another dental office before. I hope I can have another business trip next February for my next 6 month check-up there.

I usually do not write reviews, but I feel like Dr. Yum’s office deserves a mention. This was my first visit at Dr. Yums office, and let me start by saying it was an overall great experience with kind, efficient, and knowledgeable staff. As I arrived, The front desk staff greeted me with smiles which felt very personable. My appointment was scheduled for 4 PM, and after completing a couple minutes of paperwork, I was in the seat for my appointment right on time, which isn’t easy to find these days. In terms of the teeth cleaning itself, the hygienist was extremely friendly, fun to talk to, and seemed very efficient in her time management. This was one of the first dentists I have been to where my jaw didn’t ache constantly throughout the appointment, as she made sure to let me know when I could close my mouth and give my jaw a rest! Once the cleaning was completed, the doctor came and examined my teeth. He told me I had a couple of teeth that could use precautionary fillings, but told me it wasn’t mandatory at the moment and was just something to keep an eye on. Dr. Yum seems like a very honest dentist, and I could definitely tell he was not trying to charge me for procedures that were not needed. I have had several bad experiences in the past with being overcharged and lied to, so let’s just say I’m very happy I found Dr. Yum’s office. I really do recommend going to this office if you are looking for a reliable, honest, and friendly experience! 5+ stars!!

Sang Yum is efficient effective and very professional!!! Everyone at Redmond Dental Care treat you with respect and kindness. I am a Patient for life! Sang Yum’s work is quick painless without multiple visits and does not waste your time. I have extensive dental work -bridge-two implants-and four veneers-crowns and old crown replacements, not all was covered with insurance. Redmond Dental Care worked with me to make it all happen. I came to Dr. Yum thanks to a recommendation from my friend, and Dr. Yum seems to do an excellent job. He answered all my questions I had about cavities and abfractions and helped me understand what exactly was going on while he filled a couple cavities. Also, I didn’t feel any pain during the fillings, everything went well. But I’ve never had problems before with that. Numbing technology has gotten really good, I can’t remember the last time fillings actually hurt. I recently moved up to Washington, but I think I’ve found my new dentist.

A few years back on New Years Eve, I dislodged my front tooth and it went through my bottom gum. Since Dr. Yum’s office was closed, I didn’t know what to do. We managed to get a hold of him at his New Years Party. Dr. Yum left his party and drove out to the his Redmond Office. He saved my Tooth and stitched up my gum! He really went the extra mile, when he didn’t have to. I believe he does this will all of his patients. I highly recommend him for his outstanding flexibility, kindness and skill.
