Dr. Sormeh and Dr. Arash Panah are exceptional dentists! I’ve had the pleasure of being their patient over the past several years for both cosmetic and general dental work. A childhood accident and too much youthful candy has left me spending a good deal of time in the dental chair. Thanks to the Panahs, my front teeth feel and look great. Apples, corn-on-the-cob and rustic breads are the least of my worries, now I dive in and eat, something I could not do for the past 20 years. I often get complimented on my smile (however my fiancé quickly points out my fake teeth!). When I needed work done in an area outside of their expertise they referred me to a specialist, focusing on solving the issue rather than financial gain. Because of my extensive dental issues (and there are many), finding the right dentist is priority for me and I’ve been very happy with the Panahs.

I was in pain and knew that something was wrong but the dentist I was seeing told me to take ibuprofen and tough it out. I went to Dental Arts, they found the problem quickly, it was major, and treated me the same day! No more pain. I have had a very positive experience there, everyone is very efficient and knowledgeable, the dentists are excellent, the equipment is state of the art, office is clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place.

I don’t know about anyone feeling ripped off but that is not how I felt after my visit to Dr. Panah. She was very kind and helpful when I came in yesterday with a broken tooth and large infection in my molar. She took a couple of x-rays and quickly realized I was in a great deal of pain, and she immediately numbed me up. Prior to that I was certain the pain would eventually take over and I would pass out but she saved it for me. Knowing that she was unable to do the extraction herself, she got me an immediate appointment with her husband down the street at Dental Aesthetics. Dr. Arash took excellent care of me after that. He got the tooth out made the bone graft and I was on my way to healing. Losing sleep for a couple of days I was happy to get that taken care of. They were very open/transparent about the cost and extremely helpful. These are kind hearted people with an interest in helping their patients, I recommend both Dental Arts and Dental Aesthetics!!! Thanks to the dynamic duo couple!!

Best choice for first timers. My oldest son is 9 and my youngs 2 (twins) are 18 months. This was the twins first time and the staff was AMAZING. Every staff member did everything in their power to make my kids feel comfortable. They even allowed the kids to pick out toys from their treasure chest (and were extremely patient when the twins lept changing their minds….For 20 minutes lol) The dentist took her time explaining what was wrong withy big guys teeth amd what preventive measure we needed to take. I highly recommend this dental office.

I came in for a check up, knowing that I had some old silver fillings that probably needed to be changed.Susie, who took my x-rays, was so sweet and gentle. She made me comfortable from the minute I walked into this beautiful office. During the dental procedure I felt at ease and confident in the expertise and skills of Dr. Panah. Her office is a state-of-the-art practice with a very beautiful look and my biggest deal breaker, super clean! Having broken my two front teeth over a decade ago from sports injuries, I’ve been struggling with them for too long. I have always been scared of the dentist. Since I’ve started going to Dr Panah my experience totally has changed. The staff are very sweet and professional. They are very honest and will inform you about any extra costs. The office manager will contact your insurance before they go ahead with any procedure just to make sure that there is no misunderstanding. Dental phobia no more thanks to Dr Sormeh Panah! I am the biggest chicken out there when it comes to dentists…so much of a chicken that I don’t even like having x-rays done! But walking into Dr Panah’s office I was put at ease with a welcome smile and a lovely tour of their facilities. We chatted while she got her equipment ready (which got my mind off of my anxiety!) and she walked me through exactly what she was doing, even showing me the tools she would be using. I took a deep breath, relaxed and before I knew it, the exam AND cleaning were done! It was so thorough and my teeth and gums looked great. I knew I was on my way to better dental health! I am a dental phobia convert and have already booked my next cleaning to continue my road to healthier teeth! Thank you to the wonderful staff and Dr. Panah for making my visit easy and breezy!

I was new to the area and decided it was time I finally went ahead with an Invisalign treatment. After doing a lot of research and spending hours trying to find a groupon/special/etc., I finally chose to go with Redondo Beach Dental Arts because the cost was competitive, and the location was convenient for me. About 18 months later my Invisalign treatment is now complete, and I could not be more pleased with the overall service, cleanliness of the office/facilities, friendliness of the entire staff, and most of all – the end result! Dr. Panah and her team did an absolutely amazing job and deserve to be recognized for that. I have already recommended my fiancée begin using their services, and highly recommend anyone who may be looking for a dentist for any reason gives them a call.

Out of this world service and attention to details. We popped a crown while on vacation and the dr stayed on the phone with us until we purchased the temp adhesive and popped it back in. I have not seen this anywhere else. We were walked through the whole process from cleaning the crown to applying the adhesive and putting the crown back.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Panah for about 15 years. She has worked on me and all three of my kids and we just love her! She is extremely empathetic to my high anxiety. Because of her and her staffs care and work, I can now breeze through my cleanings like they are no big deal. And that’s a big deal! They offer nitrous oxide or two-dose prescription meds for anxiety for big procedures. They will never ask you to just “push through” the procedure if you are feeling any discomfort. They make sure you are feeling no pain and understand the emotions of having a fear of just being there. Jessica (Asst.) is super sweet and the front desk is very knowledgeable. They take the time to answer any and all questions. No dental work is cheap not matter what insurance you have…but I think you get what you pay for and the work done on my teeth has been absolutely perfect. I have never had to go back and get anything adjusted or corrected. I can trust that I have had the best care available with the best materials available. Just had a root canal and crown put on yesterday…not even any sensitivity today! Looks and feels great! Many thanks for Dr. Sormeh!

WOW — Truly the best dentist experience ever! I am not even exaggerating! I cannot say enough how good my visit with Dr. Sormeh Panah was! But i will try my best and so here goes: Overall the customer service here was top notch (and Im very picky). When I made my appointment the receptionist was great. She answered all my questions and was patient with me throughout the phone call. I had a ton of questions and she was great with giving me correct information on each one. The receptionist made sure to explain to me what to expect at my appointment. Also she made sure to give me easy directions on exactly how to get there — SO EASY. Also parking was super great, free and easy to find, and you know how much that does matter. When I got to my appointment everyone was so friendly and kind. I got seated right away and really loved my dentist. Make sure you meet her — Dr. Sormeh Panah. She was so great at communicating with me and being clear. So nice too! She worked on my teeth — did a full check up exam and then i got a full cleaning done. I loved it and NEVER EVER thought i would say that about a dentist appointment. The quality of her work was great. She was very meticulous and made sure to spend good time on just me! She never got distracted and gave me her undivided attention. My teeth truly felt amazing and still do. When I walked out I felt like I just left the spa LOL — not joking! My teeth were fresh and I knew how thoroughly they were cleaned. Never again will i be worried about going to the dentist. Finally i have found someone who’s quality is great and also treats me like a human being.

I’ve been coming to this office for about two and a half years now. I have a LOT of things wrong with my teeth due to bad genes and poor dental hygiene when I was a teen with braces. I have had 3-4 cerec restorations, some regular composite fillings, and of course my regular cleanings, and have had a great experience every time. My regular doctor is Dr. Binesh and she is super sweet and always explains everything – she lets me see the x-rays and in-process photos they take which I find weirdly fascinating! She also makes sure to get me extra numb which I appreciate. A year ago she placed porcelain crowns on my front teeth to fix a jagged line from a cap on a tooth I broke as a kid, and my smile looks a thousand times better!! Dr. Panah has also done a couple of my restorations and helped establish my initial care plan, as well as keeping me updated with everything I still have to do. She is wonderful as well, and helped calm me down and work out a plan when I broke into tears over costs (why is dental work SO expensive????). The best thing about this office though is the customer service. Probably my favorite person at Dental Arts is Suzy, one of the assistants. She always remembers exactly who I am when I call and knows exactly what I need. She’s also super sweet and friendly and always makes me feel comfortable. The receptionist Daisy is also good at keeping on top of everything I have to do and helping me schedule things at appropriate times. One last thing – they’re open on Saturday which means I don’t have to take time off work!!! I would give them an extra star for that if I could!

Dr. Sormeh Panah grew up in Southern California and attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Biology. She pursued a Doctoral degree in Dentistry and graduated from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2002. She is an expert in all facets of Cosmetic Dentistry, Veneers, CEREC, and family dentistry. After finishing at UCSF Dental School she moved to Los Angeles and has been practicing here ever since. After practicing so many years in the SouthBay, she considers her dental practice her second home and her patients her extended family. In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking, yoga, tennis and spending time with her family.
