He has seen everyone from my daughter, to my mom, dad (who has implant-supported dentures), my sister and her whole family, etc. But by far the best thing he has ever done for me, I had my TWO FRONT TEETH (very important teeth) knocked partially out when I was young. When I was 21 I finally was able to get some permanents. Skip forward 11 years later and I had some intermittent pain and honestly didn’t like how they looked anymore. We had a little trouble with my insurance initially. The office manager, Daggie, took care of everything and was so pleasant to deal with. If you want the best dentist, then you need a perfectionist like Dr. Akhavan. His attention to detail is incredible. I had an old crown that had worn down and needed to be replaced. He uses state-of-the-art dental equipment to take the most precise measurements possible, and the result was a perfect fit when the new crown came back from the lab. A few months later, and there are no issues with my new tooth. 🙂 He has a great eye for the visual appeal of someone’s smile, and provides a lot of great options, depending on what you’re looking for. If I was going to get a smile makeover, why would I trust someone that doesn’t specialize in cosmetic dentistry?

Lets just say I am a nervous Nancy, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the dentist. So when I broke my tooth I put off the repair for WEEKS. I kept looking and looking for the right dentist. I was referred here from a work buddy and when I had a severe toothache one Saturday, they were open and could get me in within 2 hours. The stars seemingly aligned to guide me here because it was the perfect experience. Julie, the office manager, off the bat got me in the office and out of pain the same day. They even worked with me financially on what my insurance did not cover! Kelsey the dental assistant was amazing as well, her and Julie we both pros in easing my anxiety. Dr. Akhavan was very good and careful to make sure my experience was as pain free as possible. Needless to say I am certain I have found the right dentist for me. BEST DENTIST I have ever seen! Remarkable! One of a kind! Dr. Akhavan and his team are Fantastic. The office is very clean and they treat you like family. I am 50 years old, 2 months ago I fell and hit my mouth on the hard kitchen floor knocking out my 2 front teeth, and cracking 2 other teeth. I was hysterical!! My husband called Dr. Akhavan for an emergency visit. Dr. Akhavan said, put her teeth in milk and come right now. When I arrived, without any hesitation Dr. Akhavan went straight to work. He took x-rays and found out I fractured my gum bone as well. He did 3 root canals, drained a blood clot and placed my two front teeth back in my mouth. Dr. Akhavan was hoping my two front teeth would reintegrate so I would not have to have implants. Every two weeks for two months I returned to see Dr. Akhavan for x-rays and for him to examine my teeth. I got the good news from him my two front teeth did reintegrate and were finally strong enough for him to begin repairing my smile. He drilled my front 4 teeth down to put on temporary teeth. My new permanent teeth came yesterday and Dr. Akhavan put them on today! My smile is BEAUTIFUL and I am crying. They look so Natural. I never saw Dr. Akhavan hesitate on what he needed to do to repair my smile. I honestly did not know what to expect. I have always had my natural God-given teeth so to have something else was unimaginable. I don’t want to say this because nothing is “perfect”, but Dr. Akhavan did amazing work on my teeth and there is nothing that I would change (Perfect). DR. AKHAVAN IS MY FAMILY DENTIST FOREVER!! Dr. Akhavan graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University. Dr. Akhavan has extensive post Doctoral training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Oral Surgery. He has also completed a certification program in dental implantology through the prestigious Texas A & M Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Akhavan is known to be the best cosmetic dentist in Orange County performing complete smile makeover procedures with extreme precision. His background in engineering has allowed him to be detail oriented and incorporate an artistic aspect to his work.
