I have been going here for years now the people at Renaissance Dental Center never disappoint! From the ladies at the front desk to doctors and technicians in the back, I receive friendly yet always professional care! They actually make me happy to take some time off to go to the dentist. And specifically Taylor and the other women at the front desk are doing great work to balance the ever shifting schedules due to Covid protocols. Staff was friendly from the front desk, all the way back. I don’t think I have ever been greeted, introduced and welcomed with a handshake from a receptionist at any other facility, especially a medical facility! You are welcomed “in” from the beginning. I was having a problem and they were able to get me in the next morning, which was awesome. Everyone was efficient and essentially no wait times- anywhere! And as always, Dr. Abernethy was her usual warm, friendly, sweet self! It makes a difference going to a dentist who treats you like family. You know she genuinely cares about her patients and that we are not another number! We love her in my household!!

Where do I even begin to express my love for Dr.’s Abernethy, Sonner, and Wells…. These three women are the definition of girl power! I have had the honor and joy of working with them for 6 years now and I can promise you there hasn’t been a single day where they have shown anything other than kindness and grace to their staff and patients. They dream so big and never get ready or set before they “just do it”… They have the power of envisioning and creating. Dr.’s A,S,W are incredible clinicians, business women, wives, mothers, and friends. My favorite thing about them though is the insanely high standard they hold themselves to all while never forgetting to laugh. I have watched them wake up at 5am to workout, go to work looking like super models.. work all day.. switch over to business administration when the door closes and still find time to invest in their family every single day. I have wanted to be a dentist ever since I was a little girl and I couldn’t tell you why as a third grader, but working with Dr.’s A,S,W has given me a million reasons why my heart will forever be in dentistry. I can remember cold calling practices in Raleigh at 19 years old praying someone would give me a chance to gain some experience. I had no idea when I randomly walked through the doors at Renaissance Dental Center that I would be embarking on a six year journey with the highest rated practice in Raleigh, North Carolina. To the most kind hearted women I know: Thank you! Thank you for taking a chance on me. For educating me, taking me to a million C.E. courses, for pushing me. Thank you for never allowing me to make excuses for myself and always holding me to a higher standard. Thank you for demonstrating patience with me and for taking me back so many times: ).Thank you for always being an example of how I want to practice dental medicine. I will never go anywhere else! This office feels more like a spa – they offer you warm blankets, TV, AND paraffin hand wax while they examine you. They explain every single thing they are doing and make sure you are comfortable the whole time. Going to the dentist is typically not very fun. However, the dentists at Renaissance make you feel like family and take very good care of you. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Renaissance Dental Center. We started at the practice 3 years ago after moving to Raleigh. Dr. Abernethy and her staff are professional, knowledgeable, fun and extremely welcoming. I asked for a referral for a pediatric dentist for my daughter. She suggested to make an appointment there for her. I explained that we had been through 3-4 dentists prior to moving to Raleigh. I don’t think my child had really gotten a thorough cleaning or a complete set of x-rays until she started seeing Dr. Abernethy. Not only are there no tears…she looks forward to going to the dentist! It used to be a traumatic experience for everyone involved until she started at Renaissance. I have gotten excellent care for things outside of just the regular cleanings. You never feel rushed, they always ask about your family, your last vacation, etc. I have not had a dental experience like this in the past. Dr. Abernethy and staff have offered other referrals/advice and being newer to the area this has been invaluable. I am beyond thankful for Renaissance Dental and the incredible service that my daughter and I have received since moving to Raleigh.

Amazing experience during this pandemic in every one of my dentist visits. I felt absolutely comfortable while I was there for my appointments. The staff made me feel safe while through my entire appointment. Everyone was wearing a mask at all times and maintained at least 6 feet of distance. This dental practice is wonderful! The entire office staff at Renaissance Dental make you feel so welcome, the minute you walk in the front door! I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, in fact I dreaded it – until I found Dr. Abernathy and her team! Dr. Abernathy is honest, does great work, and is so kind! She takes the time to talk to you and get to know you! I even find myself trying to talk to her, in the middle of a treatment! The office is beautiful, with up to date equipment, and they even offer blankets, warm neck pillows, massage chairs, and HG TV! So thankful, I found my way to them!

I haven’t had such a great TOTAL experience with a dentist in my life until I started going to Renaissance Dental Center. The waiting area is so homey and comfortable and the decor is gorgeous. Going to the dentist has always been one of my biggest fears, but the staff at Renaissance Dental is amazing. They have made me feel as comfortable as possible which has encouraged me to get back on a regular maintenance schedule with my teeth. I have had a lot of work done in the past two years since becoming a patient, and I still have more to do, but Dr Abernathy has been helpful in working with me to prioritize my dental needs and work on a schedule that I am comfortable with. The work done has been wonderful and I do not anticipate any issues from the fillings or crowns that I have received at Renaissance Dental, as I have had from past dentists. Dr Abernathy takes her time to make sure the job is done right the first time. Mr hygienist Vicci is also very good, and thorough. Although I have not taken advantage of it yet, they also offer a variety of medications and gas to help with anxiety.

This dynamite trio has been such a breath of fresh air. They know your name to start! HUGE bonus for me! I can call and say this happened or that happened and they will always work to get me in. This was my first visit to the office, being from another state. Immediately when I walked it, I felt at ease. The decor was upscale but also gave a home feel. They even have massage chairs, which I had the pleasure of using. The check in was quick, the receptionist walked to the sitting area and checked each person in individually. After I was checked in, I waited less than 10 minutes until I was called to the back. The dental assistant was very friendly and also provided me with great information regarding my teeth and the x-rays. They offer great amenities to keep you comfortable while you are in their care. The warm next pillow and blanket kept me warm and comfortable and put me as ease. I highly recommend this dental practice for adults and children.

The waiting room is more like a homey living room. They have glorious amenities, something I’ve never heard of at a dentist. I have been going to see Dr Abernathy for over two years now. I have always been very fearful of dentist and my kids have gone here for years. I finally got up enough courage to book an appointment for myself with dr Anna! She is a gem. I started very fearful without the ability to go to an appointment without sedation, but I’ve actually now had two full appointments with nothing although I will use sedation if I need major work again. This is the best dentist hands down!
