I am a new patient at Revive and I have had a wonderful experience from start to finish (4 appointments so far). I have no cavities (I’m almost 35!) and I have had no issues with my teeth / gums until the past year (I blame it on the extreme stress at my job). Melody was able to course correct the issues (bleeding gums / tarter build-up) and in a couple of months I’ve had NO issues with my gums or tarter build-up. She recommended the Hydro Floss machine and GUM Proxabrush Go-Betweens cleaners – both have worked wonders! Melody is very thorough and took the time to explain each step she was taking to fix the issues in my mouth. I appreciated her directness and am very happy with the results! I purchased a mouthguard from them, to wear when I play basketball. For some reason, I get hit in the mouth a lot playing basketball, so much so, that I even have a dead tooth in my lower jaw. But with the mouthguard, I have been protected, no matter how hard or how often I get hit. Though a bit costly, the mouthguard has been one of the best investments that I have ever made, because I feel like it has saved me from costly dental visits that one of those flimsy, drugstore mouthguards would not have protected me from. The mouthguard is fitted to your teeth and absorbs the contact, with no repercussions. I even bought one with multiple colors, to give an intimidation aspect to it.

I have been going to Dr Yazdani for a few years and have found her to be knowledgable, proactive, skillful, and gentle. You can tell she really cares about her patients and is passionate about their well-being. She takes the time to provide me the information I need to make the right decisions about my dental health. I have had numerous problems with my teeth that could have been avoided had my previous dentists had the knowledge to diagnose me correctly and treat me for TMD. The implant and crown Dr Yazdani put in are solid and cosmetically perfect. My bite is comfortable and pain-free. The dental hygienist is skilled, thorough, and a good educator, always willing to stop and answer my questions. Whenever a procedure was required or a treatment recommended, I was provided all the facts and figures up front. The receptionist is professional and polite, explaining the billing and accommodating my schedule changes in a cooperative and cheerful manner. Unlike so many other dental/ medical practices, the office staff respects my time, working together as a team to make my appointments efficient and swift.

Amazing looking office! The staff were extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Unlike the ones at my previous dentist. Was glad I made the switch! Went about 3 times for my 6 month check up and cleaning and was seeing Dr.Mortazie only. My wisdom started to hurt and that’s how I met Dr.Yazdani for the first time, she did my 4 wisdom teeth extractions last week. She was very gentle, soothing and patient from beginning to end. Rite Aid Pharmacy is right across the hall which is extremely convenient because I picked them up right after and didn’t have to wait because they called it in for me. She placed bone so that I didn’t have any complications and I’m glad she did and gave me the option because there was no pain and barely any swelling the day after, a bit of discomfort but it went away after a day. I’m still healing and will go back to her next week for her to check. The email I get to remind me of my appointments re so helpful! Its not metro accessible, closest metro is TenleyTown but I don’t mind the short drive. My PCP is also in the same building but he doesn’t validate parking. Revive does!!! they are cool like that.

Dr. Yazdani is wonderful. But someone who really keeps me coming back to this office is the dental hygienist, Melody. She is a real gem. I transferred to Revive Dentistry after my previous dentist (of many years) changed insurance plans. He was a solo practitioner who did everything including routine cleanings for his patients. When I arrived at Revive, I was hesitant when I learned that the dental hygienist would perform the routine care. For many people this may not seem like a big deal, but for someone already apprehensive about dental appointments, I was uneasy. Melody eased all of my fears. She is pleasant, professional, courteous, thorough, and engaging. The one-on-one attention she delivers is exceptional. I learn something new and valuable about proper oral care and maintenance from her every time I have an appointment. Based on Melody alone, I would highly recommend Revive.

Very knowledgeable staff. More interested in me understanding what exactly was going on than selling me unnecessary procedures! Had an old crown crack in half. Found that a previous dentist had not removed the old amalgam but had covered over it with this crown. So this caused it to crack over time. So Revive fit me in on an emergency basis, prepared the tooth properly, made the new crown right then and there. Any previous crown needed to be “adjusted” to get the bite right. This time it was perfect right off! I’m so impressed with the teamwork and the atmosphere in this practice. Those guys are TOTAL Pros!
