Please read and you’ll see why Dr. Suarez is the best! No one thinks about a dentist until they need one. Well, that is certainly the case with me. I had been going to another dentist in West Covina for close to 30 years. Unfortunately, and this is my fault, I became very busy with work and before I knew it a number of years had passed since my last visit. Eventually I noticed a cavity and promptly made an appointment. Needless to say, when I finally showed up at the dentist, they indicated I needed new x-rays before they could do any work. I am a notorious gagger and nothing they did would stop me from gagging. As a result, no x-rays were taken and no teeth worked on. Crazy isn’t it? They indicated they could have someone come in at a cost of $1,200 per hour to sedate me since they were not equipped. Not good. This is where Dr. Suarez starts entering the picture. No way was I going to pay for this specialized sedation at my current dentist since they were not properly equipped. I was now between a rock and a hard place. What do I do?  Clearly I needed an alternative. You have to be crazy to pay that kind of money. I went on line using the internet and looked for someone who was more high tech and possessed the necessary sedation tools to get these teeth fixed. I am SO VERY HAPPY to have found out about Dr. Suarez and his practice. I never knew he existed and if I never had this gagging problem, I would not be writing this absolutely well deserved testimonial. I used Yelp to help me. I read the reviews and decided on Dr. Suarez (I also read the reviews on his website which is very informative and professional). After doing my research to see how he could help me with my specific gagging issue, I found out he used nitrous oxide as a sedation approach, along with other types.  To make a long story start to end, he eliminated the gagging, did an exam, took the x-rays, filled a total of 3 teeth, and had cleaning performed. Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! I was astounded at how much better he was than my previous dentist. It’s like the difference between day and night! His entire staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They all had genuine smiles and seemed interested and concerned. However, most importantly – I did not feel a thing. Dr. Suarez comes across as a very professional, experienced, and skilled dentist. He and his team resolved all of my issues to the point where I can start over again knowing all my teeth are fine and I do not have to worry about them, just maintain them and not be an idiot. I am a very opinionated and hard grader of services. I usually write reviews to complain and warn others. Not this time. I have switched from my previous dentist, and indicated to my wife and son to also switch. I just wish I knew about Dr. Suarez years ago.  Absolutely excellent!

If you are considering this dentist for the first time, beware & be VERY careful! About a year & a half ago my husband & I were searching for a new dentist since we just moved into the area. I found Dr. Suarez online with only one bad review, the rest seemed really good, so we decided to take our chances My husband went in 1st for a simple consultation & x-rays. He was never made aware of any charges, which seemed rightly so, since he knew that our insurance covered consultations, x-rays & cleanings twice a year. A few days later I had an appointment & the same thing. I was never made aware of any charges. I also had a cleaning though. When I was leaving after my cleaning, I was presented with a bill of over $180 for my husband & I. I was in a bit of shock since we were never told we’d owe $, but decided to at least pay my portion of the bill because I wasn’t quite sure. My husband was headed in for his next appt right after & I asked him about these charges, which again, we were never made aware of from the start. He was in shock as well, as our insurance SHOULD have covered this Needless to say, he did not keep his 2nd appt, and after multiple delinquent bills & calls to Dr. Suarez’s office, I was told that the remaining charge of $68 would be taken care of & we never heard from them since. Thinking nothing more of it, we kindly decided to part ways with this dentist. Fast forward a year & a half, and my husband & I ran our credit reports for a vehicle we would be purchasing only to find, to our surprise, a delinquent charge on his credit from a collections agency for $68 for Dr. Suarez!! Yes, the $68 that we were told by his office would be “taken care of” This absolutely disgusted us! Beings that we will be buying a home very soon & can’t afford this on our credit, we have since paid this amount & are waiting for it to be removed or marked as paid, but it should have never came to this. In conclusion, at first glance, Dr. Suarez & his staff seem extremely nice & friendly & exactly the type of dentist atmosphere you would appreciate, but come to find out, they are either just extremely incompetent or they are just out to take advantage of ppl. I wish we would’ve trusted what that 1 bad review said, because we ran into to the same exact problem! We just hope that no one else falls victim to this dentist office

First let me start off by saying I USED to hate going to the dentist. I was very fearful and Dr. Suarez was super understanding and helped me work through my fears. Each time I went it got better and better. Now, I want to say 10 years later, I’m a regular ! I especially like that he keeps up to date with new innovations in his field. One perk you must try is his massaging chair to help ease the stress of some dental work. I have referred a lot of friends over the years and he is truly awesome! I must also say April should be your go to girl  for regular cleanings. Aside from being a true professional, she is funny and genuine . I hope you will give his office a try and see for yourself. If you need a dentist who can  calm your fears, does quality work, and sees you ON TIME then search no further! No more excuses, give him a call.

Dr. Suarez literally saved my son from possible esophageal cancer in the future. Dr. Suarez noticed some bone loss on 2 of my son’s back teeth during a regular exam for his braces. He sent us for a 3D scanning. It confirmed the problem. My son had also been complaining to our pediatrician about heartburn. Our pediatrician just recommended Tums and ignored the problem. But as a mom I wanted to know if the two symptoms had any relation. We switch pediatricians and we got a gastroenterologist involved. They did an endoscopy and they found that my son had acid reflex and eosinophilic esophagitis which if it’s left untreated in about 10-20 years down the road can increase the chance of becoming cancer of the esophagus.  Dr. Suarez had noticed the bone loss with his naked eye . He’s an excellent dentist. I recommend him to all my family and friends. And the office staff are very caring and considerate with our school and work schedule when we try to find appointments. Thank you Dr. Suarez and team!

Dr. Suarez is AMAZING!!!! Yesterday (Sunday) my 13 year old son had an emergency, he got hit by a baseball on his mouth.  The hit was so hard that it pushed back a tooth and he had a few lacerations which required stitches.  Dr. Suarez without hesitation took my call and saw him.  He was very gentle with my son explaining to him every step he was taking to fix his teeth and get him all better.  He even took time away from his family to help my son. Words cannot express how thankful my husband and I are of Dr. Suarez’ help, professionalism and gentleness. My son could not stop saying thank you to Dr. Suarez and even this morning asked if I could send him a thank you message.

This is one of my first yelp reviews because I usually don’t find the time, but sharing my experience with Dr. Suarez is well overdue.  Before seeing Dr. Suarez, I had avoided dentists for many years (slightly phobic of needles, pain, etc.).  Dr. Suarez really cured me of this and I am proud to say my family and I have been patients of his for more than 12 years.   I completely trust Dr. Suarez and his staff not only with my own dental care but with my children’s dental care.  So much so, we drive all the way from Sacramento twice a year just for our dental appointments!! Dr. Suarez and his staff are welcoming, caring, thorough and professional throughout each visit.  Dr. Suarez embodies exactly what every person wants in a dentist. His patients matter to him. His dedication to dentistry is evident in every aspect of his care. Dr. Suarez stays on the cutting edge of technology and always has the best there is to offer in the field.  His dental exam is extremely thorough, checking the lymph nodes around your neck, taking your blood pressure, and examining your jaw.  Dr. Suarez does not up-sell on unneeded procedures, he is upfront and clear, and his dentistry work is done with a meticulous eye, close to perfection.   His staff is amazing! From the front office to the hygienists, we are always well taken care of, almost pampered from start to finish.  Dr. Suarez and his team have great chair-side manners, some dentists talk your ear off and others are antiseptic in their approach; they have found the perfect balance and get it just right. The office is clean, organized, and runs like a well-oiled machine. Recently, my son had all four of his wisdom teeth extracted. It was his first surgery of any kind and I was very nervous.  Dr. Suarez was patient; he explained the entire procedure and made sure all of my questions were answered.  I knew my son was in good hands. In the weeks before the surgery, I had a lot of questions and called his office several times. Each time I called, his staff handled my questions with impeccable manners and provided thorough answers.   The tooth extractions went perfectly and his staff made sure I understood all of the after-care procedures.  I had expected my son to experience a significant amount of pain and swelling, but he actually didn’t have much at all.  That evening, Dr. Suarez called to ask how my son was doing, he answered my questions, and let me know that he’d be available if I had any additional questions or if anything changed in my son’s recovery process. Being that we traveled from Sacramento to Southern California for this surgery, Dr. Suarez made every effort to respect our time and scheduled my son’s re-check appointment 4 days after surgery (normal re-check is approx. 1 week after surgery) and also made time for me in his schedule to take impressions for a night guard (did I mention Dr. Suarez is also focused on preventing problems and not just fixing them afterwards).   He and his staff have proven they go the extra mile when it comes to their patients. I would (and do) recommend Dr. Suarez as the BEST dentist in the world!  I don’t see us going anywhere else EVER!!

This place is great! 🙂I hate going to the dentist and I always have but thought it was finally time to go to one after seeing what a wonderful job they did on both of my friends. First off, I’m a total chicken when it comes to the dentist or anything to do with my teeth, however my friend was telling me not to worry. (which made me worry more) She told me Dr. Suarez and the rest of the team are super nice. She was soo right on point. I have never met such nice and wonderful people. From the time you walk in, they made you feel so welcome and has help me through this fear of the dentist. My teeth have never felt soo clean and healthy. Dr. Suarez actually takes his time and go through every little details to make sure you understand. He doesn’t seem to rush through like other dentist. Also, he doesn’t make me feel bad but instead encourage me and reassure me that I can have the smile I want. This is the best thing I could have done for myself and I’m so glad I have friends to direct me to the right dentist. Dr. Suarez, April, and the rest of his team is awesome! If you want a great smile this is the place to go to.

I found Dr. Suarez on yelp and I have to say it lived up to every single review and expectation! I am so happy I found them. I’ve been to a couple different dentists in the past and did not go back because of my horrible experiences. Dr. Suarez is super friendly and very thorough when explaining procedures. All the equipment is very high tech and you can count on these professionals to do a great job. His staff are very professional and friendly. Thank you very much Lupe, Elaine, April, Annie, Antoinette, Sandra and everyone else for being so kind and understanding.  I can go on and on about how great they are, but I suggest you go and find out for yourself! My daughter loves going to the dentist ! And not very many people can say that there 7 year old bugs to go to the dentist . I have been taking her to Dr Suarez for more than 5 years now ! I can’t imagine taking her to anyone else . I am greeted the minute I walk through the doors , the staff is very friendly. I never wait for more than 5 minutes to be seen . By far the most clean and modern dentist I have ever been to. I love everything about Dr suarez and his staff . They are flexible with appointments and do there best to work with you in order to meet all your needs as a patient . I would recommend this place to anyone the atmosphere is calm , quiet and peaceful . It helps keep my daughter at ease and excited about getting her teeth cleaned . I have no complaints  I absolutely love everything about dr suarez and his staff . There are all amazing , knowledgable , and professional Dr suarez office is the perfect example of what a dental office should be like .
