I’ve been a patient since 2000 and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Baldwin is gentle, honest, conservative and skilled. I love the staff, the girls are so nice and genuine. I am a dentalphobe but the staff and Dr. Baldwin really help me through the anxiety. Being comfortable with the staff and doctor is everything in medical and dental, this office offers that!

My son lives in Huntington Beach (I live in Denver) and he needed an emergency root canal. Dr. Baldwin was great to fit him into his schedule within a day. His office staff was especially kind to let me know what costs to expect and stayed in touch with me to let me know everything went smoothly. After a crown, he’s been back again for routine preventive care and a cleaning. I have only great things to say about this team and am glad they are taking good care of him living out of state! I have used Dr. Baldwin for over 10 years. i love his attention to detail, patience and willingness to accomodate and help. A few years ago my son had an accident and nearly knocked his front theeth out. It was after hours, my son was not a patient of Dr. Baldwin and the Doc was not on call nonetheless, Dr. Baldwin did not hesitate to come to his practise right away to help. I don’t know of any other dentists, that was so caring to go back into his office after work he worked all day on a Friday and after he was just at his doctors just to see you because, you’re still in pain!! Dr. Richard Baldwin has been my family dentist for 15 years and we are very happy with his dental services. He is a really honest and conservative dentist. He is gentle, professional and have great chair side manners. My experience was painless and now my teeth look great thanks to dr. Baldwin I have a great smile. Not only that but he really explains the problems you might have and gives you options for the treatment. He doesn’t pressure you to get treatment right away like the other places I used to go. I really recommend Dr. Baldwin.

Simply terrific service! Dr. Baldwin has been my dentist for the past 6 years. Both himself and his staff are easy to communicate with and very accessible. The other day, I woke up to see a black speck on the tip of my left front tooth. I tried using toothpaste on my finger to get it off but it was not moving. I was a little concerned considering my teeth look pretty good. At noon that day, I called in and Linda (front office) answered immediately and said for me to come in right away. I get there and go straight into the chair. No waiting. Dr. Baldwin told me it was just food material that got under my bonding (it has been replaced 2 times in 35 years and due to be done again). It was a relief. He fully explained what happened and within 10 minutes it was fixed. (I still need the bonding done but it is not noticeable now). He spent a lot of time with me explaining everything. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have read some of the other negative posts and wonder if they are talking about the right dentist. My experience has been great!

Awesome. I went in with a broken tooth, exposing the filling and my gum. He numbed it, drilled out the broken filling and put on a temporary crown. Went back two weeks later(today) and got the permanent crown on. He said gum almost completely healed. He does not mess around, no X-rays and cleaning prior to repair. Got right down to business and fixed it! I was so happy with him, his assistant Martha and the staff. Going back for my exam and cleaning on April 7! If you live close by, I highly recommend this dentist!!

I have been trying to find the right dentist & was never happy with my previous dentists visits. I was born in England and when I got to the States my teeth were in pretty BAD shape. Other dentists suggested that dentures would be the best, easiest & sometimes…the only way to go..! Dr Baldwin showed me MY options & replace the decaying teeth with porcelain crowns. My smile is unbelievable & I have a confidence about myself again. The staff are wonderful & very careing that you are comfortable during the proceedure. I was referred to this office by a friend of mine. I think Dr Baldwin is the last of his generation. The generation of doctors who practice for love of practicing and not just love of money. He is calm, gentle, and he will walk you through every single step of procedure. I’m 40 and I have seen many dental offices and dentists. By far this is one the best dental offices. His staff Marta and Linda are also very nice and kind. Whenever I visit this office I feel like visiting my own friends and family.

I had excruciating pain and was in quick need of medical attention. I came into his office and was able to be seen that same day. Dr. Baldwin was brisk and sincere in his diagnosis that my tooth could not be saved and I needed a root canal. I would definitely recommend his office for emergencies and from my experience he makes himself personally available with any concerns afterward.

I am utterly shocked he is anything less than 5 stars. Only dentist I know who explains every step of the process. I knew what to expect when I got my crowns. I got an estimate before the work was done so no hidden charges. He is also EXCELLENT with my daughter. They work with your budget. office staff is kind and charming. His hygienist/assistant is super sweet. you cannot “mess up” a root canal. that’s silly. they take out your entire root period. After you get your crown there is a period of adjustment. If you don’t know what to expect it can seem like something must be wrong. At first it is very painful and uncomfortable (at least from my experience) But trust me to the person below you will start feeling better. But he is always there for you and will take you last minute no problems. He has late and early appointments. They also call to remind you of appointments (which is great because I have a terrible memory). I would HIGHLY recommend.

I had a severely abscessed tooth and was new in town. I searched for a dentist within my neighborhood and came across Dr. Richard Baldwin. He was able to see me immediately. I was seen as soon as I entered the waiting room. The Dr. diagnosed me with an abscessed tooth which had an infection spread to my sinus cavity. He was very clear and gentle when explaining my condition. I was prescribed an antibiotic and a pain medication. My case was a severe one and the pain and swelling was not letting up much. Two days later after the swelling was not improving and the pain was not improving I needed to call the Dentist again. I attempted to call Dr. Baldwin during off hours. I was directed to his answering service. I was put in touch with the Dr. and he began contacting my pharmacy to alter my medication to improve my pain issues as well as to increase my antibiotic dose. I am now recovering and the pain is manageable. Very cost effective, personal and there in need of an emergency. 5 Stars! -John Z.

He continued his dental education at Washington University School of Dental Medicine to graduate in 1975. He has taken continued education courses at various schools and organizations annually ever since. Dr. Baldwin also completed a two year program in orthodontic treatment in 1985. At Washington University, he performed Endodontic specialty studies for graduate research. Dr. Baldwin also spent 2 years with the United States Public Health Service, National Health Service Division in Bollinger County, Missouri. There was no dentist there at all when Dr Baldwin went to Bollinger County, but he was able to improve things there so that there were 2 dentists who came in when he left, and there are about 6 there now. Dr. Baldwin then spent another year working with several dentists in Southern California before he started his practice in Huntington Beach in 1979.
