Great dentist.great staff. Doctor Bates is not my regular dentist , I saw my dentist the day before who did nothing to help my tooth pain. I was referred to Doctor Bates and called in the morning they got me right in and helped me and stopped the pain. Not because he had too but because he cared. This is a good man a good dentist and a good practice. I am switching and will become a regular patient with Doctor Bates. Thank you Doctor Bates and Shelly and Stacy you guys are awesome

I was pleasantly surprised when I started going to Dr. Bates. I had been going to a dentist in Petersburg and had problems with fillings falling out over and over. Dr. Bates is an expert dentist in every way. I now have no problems with fillings at all. The other dentist tried to make me feel it was my fault that the fillings were coming out. She also charged me huge fees for these fillings. Dr. Bates makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. He knows all of the latest practices, uses the BEST equipment and solutions for what he does. He always takes you in immediately on time for your appointment. He is gentle and makes you feel totally comfortable. He communicates with you with great attention to detail. He gives you a write-up that shows what work he is proposing and the cost of each procedure before hand. His aim is to work with the patient in every way. Dr. Bates is very kind, thoughtful, and is able to take care of your every need. There is never any pain or discomfort when being cared for by Dr. Bates. I am 78 years old, and he is by far the best dentist I have ever been to in all of my life. I highly recommend him!

After my dentist of 30 years retired, I was dreading trying to find a new dentist. I tried the one that purchased my dentist’s practice, but didn’t get a good feeling from the staff or dentist. I was then recommended to Dr. Bates. Such a warm comfortable feeling as soon as I walked in the office. Dr. Bates was also very personable, introduced himself and listened intently while I reviewed my history and some issues I was having. I now feel great that I have a wonderful dentist to take care of me! His office is very up-to-date, clean and open (pretty view from the dentist’s chair). I’m very happy to have found Dr. Bates and would recommend him and his office to everyone!

Absolutely, by far, the BEST Dentist I know! Dr. Bates is gentle, caring, empathetic and an overall amazing Dentist. His practice stays current with modern technology so you can have a crown made within an hour. The office is clean and safe, and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Bates and his staff are amazing! Kelli is the best dental hygienist ever!!!!!! Everyone in the office is so friendly, kind and helpful. They truly care about their patients. I am interning at Dr. Bates office currently, I will be finishing up soon, but I would like to give his whole office staff and himself a five star review. Courtney and Ivy and my preceptors and have taught me SO much without getting annoyed with my ignorance. Dr. Bates is the most patient and kind doctor I have ever encountered. He treats every patient as if he has known them forever. He takes the time to explain a procedure step by step if you aren’t 100% sure as to what’s next. Being “behind the scenes”, I can honestly say his office is very sanitary. I would like to thank Dr. bates, Courtney, and Ivy for taking their time with me and making me knowledgeable in the dental field.
