Dr. Gaw is a scam!  He only wants money.  He will “create” work so he can get more money from you.  I took my daughter there since his office is much closer to us than my previous dentist.  Even though my daughter had been evaluated 6 month prior, Dr. Gaw said she had 6 cavities, then increased it to 10 (during her initial fill day), then said she had 13 cavities (during her second fill day).  He charged me over $3,000 out of pocket (since it was over the amount my insurance covered within one year).  I will NEVER go to him again and do not recommend him.

Great experience and I felt completely safe getting dental work done in the midst of COVID with the precautions the office took.   My teeth look AMAZING and I feel like I have my youthful smile back… so much so I cried when I got in the car and looked in the mirror.  Love the results!  Thank you Dr. Gaw and Jessica!!!!! You made me feel like me again!

I had a great experience at Dr. Gaw’s office as a new patient. He worked me in for an emergency procedure between Christmas and New Year’s which I was exceedingly grateful for as I was scared I would not be able to find anyone accepting new patients. He relieved the immense pain I was in and scheduled a follow-up visit shortly after New Years. Very friendly, explained all my options, and did great work with minimal discomfort. Staff was top notch as well. Highly recommend.

I visited Dr. Gaw from a referral.  The front office staff, assistants and Dr . Gaw were all the best!  Dr. Gaw provided the information I was needing, offered a plan to meet my needs and I will be scheduling a follow-up appointment for my dental work to be done.  Very professional and no high pressure for services to be performed.  Dr. Gaw offered many choices for dental needs and was a great listener also.  I will definitely be referring friends and family to Dr. Gaw!

If dental work could be easy, this is where it would happen. As a new patient, I got in quickly-Carmen was so helpful and understanding. When I arrived, I only waited long enough to fill out the necessary paperwork. The team is excellent-Jessica explained everything as we went along. Dr. Gaw is great- very friendly and at ease in his work. I got a quote for my out of pocket cost as soon as they knew what I needed and was able to get started right away. They were efficient and made it as comfortable as possible for me. Everyone is so kind and it is apparent that they work well together as a team. I can honestly say it’s the best experience I’ve had in a dental office. Cheers!

I have been using Dr. Gaw since the late 90s! Now, my husband and 2 children see him. We could not ask for a more knowledgeable, courteous and patient dentist! The office is state of the art and the staff are super welcoming and personable. Mrs. Kim, my hygienist, is the BEST! A couple of my family members have high anxiety when going to the dentist but this team makes them as comfortable and at ease as possible ;). I cannot thank them enough!

I recently moved back to Nashville after many years away.  I had problems with the first dentist I visited.  A friend recommended Richard Gaw.  Dr. Gaw is a wonderful, conscientious dentist, as is his staff.  He spent  time getting to know me and my teeth, he answered all my questions and I felt he truly cared.  He will be my dentist as long as I have teeth!

Dr Gaw is a kind, caring, gifted dentist and he has done some beautiful work in my mouth. He and his staff, particularly Jessica and Airyn, are the most kind, understanding, capable group of folks I’ve ever dealt with in a dental setting. I think of them as dear friends now. Lovely chairside manner too. They try so hard to keep me calm and to comfort me during any procedure (and there have been a lot of them!) I highly recommend Dr Gaw and his staff!

Was recommended by a relative who loves Dr. Gaw and his staff. I had a very painful tooth and although I was not an established patient they got me in quickly, Dr. Gaw diagnosed the issue and I have begun treatment. I have to say that the whole staff is very welcoming.. I immediately felt at ease and very comfortable with Dr. Gaw and confident with his practice… For this I am very grateful! Five stars!

I went to Dr. Gaw years ago and was always happy with the results. I moved away, but when I came back a couple of years ago, I was happy to find him still hard at work! Always gentle, thorough, and never makes a dental visit feel like a chore—more like “Hey, I get to go see Dr. Gaw tomorrow!” All of the staff there are always cheerful and friendly, from reception to hygienist to dental assistant. They recognize me and call me by name, which is nice, considering I’m only there a few times a year. When my insurance changed and he was no longer a “preferred” provider, I didn’t care. I was willing to pay that difference, because he takes such good care of me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Richard Gaw since 1995. For over 25 years, he and his staff have provided me, and my family with “quality” dental service. I have recommended him, to other friends and coworkers. They have remained, long time patients as well. If you are looking for Dentist- I highly recommend his office. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

I’ve heard horror stories about incompetent dentists, so I am fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Gaw. He’s very knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly and easy to talk to. He always discusses options before making decisions about my dental care, and I never feel pressured. I’ve been receiving his services for 5-6 years and he’s pretty much the coolest dentist I’ve ever had! Also, my hygienist Tina is super nice and competent!

Love, love, love this staff!  I am not one who enjoys going to the dentist for any reason, but the staff always helps me to relax from the time I enter the office untl the final goodbye!  Professional, caring, and supportive with first class technology to support their expertise.  I wouldn’t go anywhere else.  Cheryl G

Dr. Gaw did a great job on my chipped tooth – the procedure was virtually painless and I was in and out in less than 1 hour. They were completely on time (actually, I was a little late and they still took me in right away). The office in Green Hills is super nice and modern with lots of TVs and the staff is lovely. I scheduled my next teeth cleaning with him and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a cosmetic or general dentist in Nashville.

I was referred to Dr. Gaw by a friend who has seen him for thirty years. I have seen many good dentists over my 73 years. Dr. Gaw is the first dentist in my lifetime who has sat with me and talked with me, myself, I in an interested and careful way. I have never had such a positive one-on-one experience with any dentist. I return in six months.

Dr. Gaw has been my dentist for almost 20 years, and Kim as my dental hygienist. They are the most incredible, caring people. I feel right at home with them. They are truly an extension of my family. Dr. Gaw and his staff, especially Airin, are always kind and friendly. I appreciate that. I don’t always say how the staff makes me feel, but I am grateful to be treated so well each and every visit!
