I always show up 10-15 minutes before my appointment and always get called in before my appointment. The doctor comes in right after we go into the room. Checks my daughters teeth and lets me know if she has loose teeth and or if she has new teeth coming in. This time we did x-rays but was very fast. Less than 10 minutes. Then they cleaned my daughters teeth and that was it. I left within 20 minutes of being there. Was able to schedule my next appointment and have the option for a phone call or text for a reminder. After every appointment my daughter is able to pick a toy from their treasure box. Everyone there is very friendly and good with my daughter. They always explain to her what they will be doing before they do anything

My daughter recently had some teeth issues and I called Dr. Lee’s office for the earliest appointment since he takes my insurance here. Super happy they were able to book me for the end of the week I cleared my schedule that morning for my daughter. Inside was very clean…it looked like any ordinary dental office. What’s even better… there’s netflix so my daughter wasn’t bored during her wait. Although it did take some time to see the doctor…I’m just happy he saw her and was able to help. Coming in the first time…I told Dr. Lee about what I noticed about my daughters teeth and my concerns. He took x-rays, they cleaned her teeth and told me I had to book for the earliest available appointment another day to put crowns on her. I was able to get her in a few days after..I think her first appointment was on a wed or fri and the second appointment was on a monday or tuesday. I was warned ahead of time because she’s so young that if she doesn’t cooperate, he would have to refer me to children’s dentist to get the work done. Noted. On my second visit here…everything was done smoothly. Knowing shes very young and only her second time at the dentist, they even put on My Little Pony for her to keep her calm. I’m extremely proud of my little one sitting through an hour of everything. Dr. Lee did the best he could for her and I am extremely greatful he was able to get everything done without having to refer us else where. Dr. Lee is the best! Dr. Lee and his staff never try to add or push extra treatments nor tries to benefit from a false diagnosis like other dentist do to their patients. Dr. Lee is straightforward, honest and he explains what’s wrong and what needs to be done. If you’re looking for great, honest, friendly dentist and staff Dr. Lee’s office is the place for you.

Dr. Richard Lee amazes me every time we go! My 10 year old son is not even anxious when we have our appointments, even though I am expecting the worse when we go. Still cavity free and have yet to get any unnecessary extractions. Dr. Lee always knows best. Sure enough after that appointment in the afternoon he lost another baby tooth on his own. No traumatic experience at the dentist office. Wonderful work, honest doctor!

Hate, HATE, hate going to the Dentist! A toothache over weekend forced me to seek help. I drove by this place made a U-turn and came back. Alma at the front desk was very understanding about my financial state and she gave me a quote and an appointment a few hours later. Dr. Lee was very friendly and understood my financial concerns, he did not try to sell me a root canal! Thank God! Rather he said an extraction was best and an hour later I was minus the pain, minus a tooth, and I get my stitch/es out in 5 days. Very pleased with everything. Closest cross street is Albia/Paramount.

I got a cleaning and a filling replaced here and Dr. Lee is pretty thorough compared to other dentists I’ve been to.  He even gives each tooth/gum a number and lets you know if your gums are receding, among other things.  I’ve been cycling through dentists because 1) they give you procedures that aren’t included on insurance and they don’t bother to tell you, or 2) it seems like they just don’t care. Dr. Lee cares and he shows it by being very thorough; he takes the time to answer all of your questions (I had plenty) and he gets really technical but he can explain things in layman terms too.  I live in the Westside and he’s worth the drive all the way to Downey.   By the way, I am not sure why yelp shows cross streets, but Dr. Lee’s Dental Office’s address is:  12119 Paramount Blvd., Downey, CA 90241

I’ve always been beyond satisfied with the quality of work done by Dr. Lee. He goes above and beyond to make the patient comfortable and relaxed, and I say this as someone who deals with chronic neurological pain, so I have enough pain to deal with. Having options for pain management at the dentist office makes the visits a little easier.

I have been experiencing pain in my lower left area for about two months now. I went to three different dentists who couldn’t find anything. They provided antibiotics and nothing more. I went to Dr. Lee. He cleaned the area up, treated it and the pain is already subsiding. He also referred me to an oral surgeon for a follow up. I highly recommend!
