We have had wonderful personable care from all the staff at Rick’s Family Orthodontics. We are truly blessed and pleased with the terrific results of our two sons teeth after receiving braces. I even asked for a new retainer made for myself, since mine was so outdated and wouldn’t fit. Dr. Rick’s staff was able to make one and I’m very pleased with it and the how comfortable it is. I would truly recommend Rick’s Family Orthodontics to anyone.

After interviewing several Orthodontics we chose to go to Dr. Rick at Ricks Family Orthodontics because they sincerely care about their patients. Dr. Rick took time with our daughter and explained everything in detail. Their prices are comparable with other Orthodontics and even better than most we interviewed. Their office is incredibly clean which is important when looking at dental care. The staff is refreshingly friendly. They treat you like family there and we couldn’t be more please.

My girls recently began orthodontic treatment.  We took a chance with Ricks Orthodontics and are very glad we did!  Everyone there is very friendly and really took the time making our girls feel comfortable and welcome.  Dr. Ricks is so nice, is very competent and goes the extra mile for his patients.  When my daughter’s wire popped out of place, Dr. Ricks met us at his office at 7:00 pm, after his own childrens’ soccer practice, to fix it.  He even offered to come to our house instead!  I love the fact that he grew up in northeast Bakersfield and specifically set up his practice in this area.  It is literally a two minute drive from my house to his office.  It is so fantastic having a good orthodontist in our area, who is committed to quality service.  I highly recommend visiting his office if you are even considering braces.  You will be pleasantly surprised!

I highly suggest Ricks Family Ortho. My daughter just finished her Invisalign journey with them, and her teeth look beautiful. I’m so happy with the results. Plus they were more reasonably priced than another really big name ortho in town. If you live in the NE or east side, it’s really convenient.

My son just got done with a round of braces with Dr. Ricks. We had a great experience every single time we went in for an appointment. His office staff is friendly, accommodating and easy to work with. Dr. Ricks takes plenty of time with each patient to make them comfortable and informed about their visit. I had braces as an adult at another popular  practice in town and chose Ricks for my children instead. This isn’t an assembly line practice and you get plenty of face time with Dr. Ricks! My other children are on consult and will definitely be patients soon. I just saw an ad that says he offers parent braces at a discount as well!

I’ve trusted Dr. Rick’s with 4 of my kids and am so grateful we went to him. The office staff are friendly and Dr. Rick’s explains everything and presents all options. He even caught something our dentist missed that needed attention. Great atmosphere and I feel he is very honest. Can’t say enough about how great they are!

We went around town and got quotes from several ortho offices. Not only did ricks give us the best price but they were so warm and made me feel comfortable. They were the only ones who took an interest in my oral health over getting a commitment from me! Left with two braces for the price of one at some of the other places and peace of mind that I can trust them to do their job with my best interests as a priority!

This was the first choice on my insurance list of providers so I called to make my consultation for Invisalign. On the phone the receptionist was SUPER friendly and helpful. When I arrived to my appointment (which was days later) they already knew my name, they had my name and other patients names written on a welcome chalk board! I didn’t have to wait 1 minute for my appointment, they were already set up and ready for me. The orthodontist is actually the son of the receptionist. It’s family owned and they have one dental assistant. They’re only open two days a week I believe. But this office is OUTSTANDING! I only had one dentist my whole life, which is also very personable and friendly. So I was nervous to meet with a new provider but they were amazing! The office is up to date, clean, and bright! I wasn’t shy at all conversing with them or expressing myself. Again they were sooooo friendly and helpful! I initially went in just to consult on Invisalign and the price and what would be better for me personally And Shannon, the receptionist, gave me all my options WITH insurance. I came out of this appointment with spacers in my teeth and ready for braces in 7 days. Which I thought I was going to take some time to decide what I wanted and all that. But they made it so easy. I was in and out with a consultation hitch turned into getting set up for braces and signing my contract all within less than 2 hours. And I made it to work on time. AGAIN THIS PLACE IS GREAT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING HERE! Teens adults and children! It’s a great experience!

Love this office!!! Staff is very friendly, has every patient memorized as you walk into your appointment…They explain everything in detail & also has affordable prices along with payment plans available…Very satisfied with Mr.Ricks work along with there Staff
