I have been going to Dr. Brenner since he first started . This was many years ago. I was petrified of dentists. He made me so comfortable I was never afraid again. He is the nicest person. He really cares about you and he always does a thorough and great job. I would recommend him to anyone I love him

Who has the best dentist in the Philadelphia area? Me! I’ve been going to Dr. Barry Brenner DDS for 15 years, because he’s kind, gentle smart, proactive, and believe it or not he still does his own cleanings, with the hygienist assisting. Nobody does that anymore. You also get a little bag of dental treats after every visit. He’s responsible for the fact that I still have all of my own teeth, aside from wisdom teeth of course. Not a single crown or bridge or cap. I owe that to him. 17 years ago I had a really bad experience with my dentist out in the burbs and I didn’t see a dentist for two years after that. When I finally realized that I needed to, I asked my brother and his wife (both doctors) who they use, and they told me that they took all of their kids to Dr. Brenner and they loved him. That was good enough for me, and the best dental decision I ever made. You can find him at Ritner Dental Group in south Philly at 12th and Ritner.

Dr Brenner is a great dentist. I was looking for a new dentist and Dr Brenner was recommended by several people for his quality work and friendly team. He has lived up to his reputation! His assistant Renee is so friendly as is Theresa. They make you feel at home and relaxed. I have been to many dental providers and have had a LOT of work done, I highly recommend Dr Brenner.

I was not a patient of Dr. Brenner’s prior to this appointment, but I had fractured a tooth and needed an emergency appointment. When I called the office to see if they could take me, they were actually closing, but they fit me in anyway which was a huge relief for me. The office staff were incredibly friendly and very understanding and they didn’t make me feel like I was imposing or I had to “rush”. I completed some minor paperwork and was in the dental chair within minutes of my arrival. The exam was thorough, a diagnosis was made, and a treatment plan was offered. I had my tooth repaired painlessly and everything went smooth. I was very impressed by the working relationship the staff had with the dentist and the amount of compassion and friendliness they showed me. I felt like I had known them for years. I was so impressed with the way this emergency visit was handled, I will be switching to this provider full time. He was prompt, professional, courteous, compassionate, and friendly. Everything you want in a dentist. And most importantly – the work that was done on my teeth was done very well and exactly how it should have been done. 5 STAR rating for Dr. Brenner.

First, let me start by saying that I do not usually write online reviews or recommendations. It’s just not my thing. But, I feel compelled to share with anyone interested in reading this my experience with Dr. Brenner and his staff. Let me begin by saying that due to a long history of dental neglect, my biggest fear was the dentist. I mean crying shakes of fit scared. I was embarrassed with the state of my teeth. Not wanting to deal with the pain more then anything else, I decided to confront my biggest fear and go to the dentist. When I walked in the door, I was treated with nothing but kindness and compassion. The people who work in the office are friendly and professional. I filled out my paper work while my anxiety built. I did not want to be there. It seemed as if I got called in right away (as a side note, neither I or my family has ever had to wait long for an appointment. When they say 10:00, they are on top of it.). I was so scared. Dr. Brenner came in and calmed me down. He was caring and up-front. He told me he wasn’t my worst nightmare, but rather, he would be my favorite person eventually. Truer words were never spoken. I have had to be back and forth to Dr. Brenner’s office countless time for various dental work since then. Not only is he a top notch dentist, he knows his stuff and he and his staff do flawless work, but he is one of the most kind, caring, generous people I have ever met. It is rare to meet someone so dedicated, not only to his job, but to people. I am so thankful for everything Dr. Brenner and his crew has done for me. He has been a big part in changing my life by building my confidence about myself and helping me over come my fears. You will not find anyone better. I’m not someone who typically writes online reviews. I have been a client of Dr. Brenner’s for about ten years now. He is such a great dentist but what makes him special is who he is and how he treats his clients! From the moment you walk into his office you are treated like family – you will first meet Theresa who is so amazing and beyond helpful, super patient and just so pleasant. Next you’ll meet Renee who is Dr. Brenner’s right hand woman. She is so relatable, able to have great conversation and very, very gentle when assisting Dr. Brenner during procedures. And now onto Dr. Brenner – I just absolutely love him. And just a tip of what kind of client I am — I cry during cleanings because I am that much of a baby and yes, he and Renee wipe away my tears! He listens to my concerns, convinces me to keep up with my dental appointments and he is always there for me in an emergency. He truly cares about me and my teeth. I trust him and have full confidence in him and the dental plans he has for me. In sum, I feel like Theresa, Renee and Dr. Brenner are my family. I know about their lives, they know about mine and they truly are the reason why my teeth are in such great shape. I hate going to the dentist but they make me look forward to my appointments. They truly care about me as a person and I am so honored to be a client of theirs. I had an appointment scheduled in March but it was canceled because of the corona virus and I really miss them. If you’re reading this guys I really, really miss you!! My teeth and I can’t wait to see you all again.

Hands down the best dentist I have been to!!! I had a bonding in my tooth come out and my original dentist wasn’t available so I called around in a panic and found Dr. Brenner. The receptionist Theresa was so lovely over the phone and fit me in the very next day. When I arrived she was so friendly and informative. Dr. Brenner and his assistant Renee were amazing. They made me feel so at ease during my appointment and took ample time to make sure my tooth was fixed the right way and to my liking. When I checked out Theresa took the time to explain my dental insurance to me which was awesome because I wasn’t sure how my plan actually worked. I was so pleased with my experience that Dr. Brenner will be my permanent dentist from now on. I even went so far as to tell everyone about him so they will go to him as well.
