Once again, Dr. Palmer absolutely knocks it out of the park! We took my one year old home to MN to visit his grandparents and sure enough, he started getting serious teething troubles! We could not get him to calm down!!! One visit to my old family dentist solved all of that! I was nervous because our dental insurance isn’t the greatest and I thought visiting a dentist out of state would be an issue, but Dr. Palmer was the only one I could trust with my little boy. His office does not accept our insurance, but he was able to help my son with his pain very easily and didn’t bill us a single penny! He even showed us some cool photos from his trips to Africa. Real cool guy, I miss going to him to get my work done.

I came to River Bluff Dental a few years ago with major dental pain. I am 56 years old and have been to many dentists throughout my lifetime and have had many procedures done but had constant teeth pain and they just gave temporary repair or made it worse. I always get greeted cheerfully, even when I don’t get to my appointment on time. All my questions are answered, and if I feel anxiety, Dr. Palmer is very reassuring, and of course confident in his work, afterall. He’s been in the. Business for a longtime. He is warm personable and has a charismatic personality. The receptionists, Diane, Lindsey. Finance person, Cathy are real understanding and good listeners. Cassie my hygienist is exceptional. I have also met Judy, the one other hygienist, and she was great too. There is a new addition to the staff; Pamela. I met her for the first time and she was very nice.

As usual everyone was so positive and professional. They are the experts in their fields. I received explanations of everything being done during bridge work, cleaning and fluoride treatment following. Their dental plan has saved my husband and me an incredible amount of money. Last year Dr. Palmer was able to do extensive restoration work to prevent my husband from needing dentures. My husband’s endocrinologist strongly advised against the dental work that would be required for him to have dentures because of the medications which my husband is on chronically for his severe osteoporosis. I felt safe in this Coronaviris pandemic situation. I recommend this dental practice to everyone!

Not only are Dr. Palmer and his team very skilled, they keep up on new technology. They got the machine that makes most crowns on the spot very early. This eliminates a fake crown and a second appointment. They got the new scanning equipment that ended exposure to x-rays. And they have a great list of oral surgeons as references for work they don’t do. He has been our family dentist for decades!

I had forgone the dentist for a few years and when I finally returned this year it turned out I needed quite a bit of work. I went to a dental chain and was treated like a number and left with two fillings that were done incorrectly. Dr. Palmer and his staff at River Bluff have done nothing short of perfect work since I started going there. They are very concerned with your comfort and concerned with doing high quality work. If you need some dental work done, you will be taken care of here. Just for reference I have had multiple fillings done and one root canal with crown done here. Very thankful for the staff at River Bluff as I am finally getting the quality care I need

Dr. Palmer is my dentist and I walked in on Tuesday without an appointment because I had a small pimple on the gum line of a molar. I was seen by his dental assistant who checked it and said I needed an x-ray. Turns out my molar has an infection. Dr. Palmer said he was sending me to an endodontist to look at the tooth for a potential root canal. I am getting the root canal on the 16th. Dr. Palmer worked me in and I trust him. I am a major high anxiety patient.

As usual, the staff reminded me of my appointment and what I needed to do to prepare for it. I was greeted warmly when I arrived and my hygienist did a perfect and painless job on my teeth. It was time to renew my senior package and I got good some good news. Because I am over 80, my fee for the package dropped by around $100 per year and my discount for non-recurring treatment increased to 40 % off regular fees. So, my trip to the dentist was absolutely painless.

Trisha and Dr. Walt always take the best care of me and my teeth. Trisha makes sure I am comfortable and informed while she carefully cleans my teeth and attends to my aging, delicate gums, offering suggestions and alternatives to keep them healthy. I am inspired to take care of both my teeth and gums throughout the day, so I can come back next time to get the best report possible for my overall mouth health. I started going to Dr. Walt when my now adult son got his braces off as a teenager and my current dentist couldn’t get him in for a teeth cleaning for two weeks. Dr. Walt got him in right after his braces removal. I have been a teeth grinder all my life and I had ground down my teeth so there was very little enamel left. With the help of the team at RBD, I now have a beautiful white, strong smile.

I can’t say that going to the dentist will ever be something I look forward to, but that is certainly not River Bluff Dental’s fault! They make the experience as pleasant as I imagine a visit to the dentist can be. Tricia, the hygenist I see, is friendly and efficient. Dr Palmer is thorough, and I am very happy with the work he has done ( Crowns mainly ) Receptionists are friendly and efficient. I guess if I had to nit-pick – I am not a fan of the TV’s everywhere, but at least the volume is low!

Went in for a teeth cleaning after a 2 year hiatus, Julia was kind and went the extra mile making sure I understood exactly what she always doing. She offered me great advice to improve my home dental care and explained in detail how various processes like tooth decay work. She was also very helpful in evaluating my x rays. Dr. Palmer stopped by to look at a couple of things and he is by far the best dentist I have seen. I needed to find a new dentist as I just moved into the Twin Cities. A friend of mine recomended Dr. Palmer at River Bluff Dental in Bloomington. I was nervous as I needed my first root canal with a new dentist. Dr. Palmer and his assistants and staff were amazing. The clinic has a very nice and inviting feel to it. The lady at the front desk, my dental hygenist Judy, and Dr. Walter Palmer were all very nice and professional. Don’t listen to the other reviews, this might be the best service I’ve ever received at a dental clinic. The staff will work with you on pricing whether you have insurance or not, and it has some of the cheapest dental work I could find in the state. It does teeth bleaching for about half the price you would find anywhere else. 5/5 stars, would go again.

Top notch service and that coming from a 20 year plus customer. I assure you every single negative review is just someone who is an anti-hunter and has an axe to grind. Furthermore, we’re dealing with a situation which has nothing to do with the dental practice and also the accused was/is completely innocent. Pretty sad when social media doesn’t do their homework and attempts to smear someone wrongfully. Great dentist who does top notch work.
