I’ve been going to Dr. Marshall since we moved into the area – about two years now. When I tell you this is HANDS DOWN the BEST dentist I’ve ever met, I am not exaggerating. I’ve had a LOT of dentists and some really painful treatments. The assessment that Dr. Marshall’s office takes asks about your past history. I answered the questions honestly about my past experience and every time I go now, they make sure to tailor my appointment around (or at least mention that they’re thinking about) my concerns that I filled out on the form. I often have to have deep cleanings that require numbing shots. I’m convinced Dr. Marshall is also a magician. The first time I got the shot, I never even *saw* the needle. I was halfway through the numbing shot before I realized that there was a giant needle in my mouth and I only realized it then because he said “we’re about halfway done, doing great”. Not exaggerating, here. Since then, he’s explained to me the techniques that he’s using to reduce pain and anxiety about the shot and even still, I have to pay attention to realize what’s happening. They do really good, thorough work and everyone is polite and they work quickly. The office is always clean, they have new Covid-19 safety procedures and a lovely waiting room. TV’s on the ceiling and did I mention MASSAGE chairs while you get your treatment done?! You will not regret going to River Vista Dentistry, I’m confident that this is as good as it gets!

Dr. Marshall and the whole staff are amazing! He is the sweetest person and makes patients feel comfortable. I had to get 2 crowns put on and it was such a pleasant experience. I am always worried about going to the dentist but they made it so easy. There are shady dentist offices out there but this place is NOT one of them. Before work was done, the front office staff let me know what my dental insurance was going to cover and what would be my out of pocket expense. I never felt pressured into doing any unneeded procedure. The office is clean and they have TVs you can watch as you get work done. I loved coming here!!

So happy I found River Vista Dentistry. I was unhappy at my previous dentist and trusted other Yelpers to come here. The office is super convenient to my house, the staff is wonderful and they are up to date with the latest dental technology and comforting patient accommodations. Kelsey is an angel receptionist. I had an original new patient appointment set for the end of July and she worked with my schedule to get me in a month sooner. (Note: Ask about the cancellation list if you have a flexible schedule or some upcoming off days) Very sweet and professional both on the phone and in person. Heidi was my hygienist and she was so nice and gentle. She walked me through everything, made sure I was kept comfortable and showed me how to use the massaging chair and tv. I felt not pain or discomfort during my cleaning. Dr. Marshall was also super friendly and a genuinely nice man. He made me feel both comfortable and confident that I was getting the best dental care. The overall vibe I got here was wonderful and I’m happy to call this my new dental home.

I’m new to Charlotte and needed to find a regular dental office. I found River Vista via google and was so pleased. Every single person at this office makes my day every time I come in. Obviously going to the dentist isn’t the highlight of anyone’s day but from the girls at the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist.. everyone is so cheerful and sweet and welcoming. I never write reviews but they deserve some props here so I couldn’t leave them without a great review!

Always an awesome experience! I used to dread going to the dentist, but Dr. Marshall is so friendly, professional, and just a great dentist. I actually enjoy “visiting” with my hygienist during my cleanings and the check in with Dr. Marshall every six months! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dental experience.

I just relocated to the Steele Creek area from Seattle and have been dreading finding a new dentist but Dr. Marshall and his staff have surpassed all expectations! The front desk staff is upfront, courteous and accommodating. The professional staff is just as great if not better… Jannell, the dental assistant is kind, gentle and extremely personable in addition to her dental knowledge. While Dr. Marshall is down to earth, funny and has by far the most gentle hands I’ve ever had in a dentist. I had to have several shots of novicane and didn’t feel a thing! You can tell that these guys are passionate about what they do and actually care about their patients. Heck, they even remembered things I mentioned during my first visit and made a point to ask me about them when I returned. They make the dentist feel like seeing old friends and not a mundane biannual chore. I am beyond grateful to have found this practice and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the Steele Creek area. Oh and for bonus points they have state of the art massaging chairs and ceiling mounted TVs to watch while you’re getting worked on

My husband and I are new to the area, but we already have a person and place we are proud to call “our” dentist. Upon recommendation, we made appointments with Dr. Marshall, filled out the paperwork online, confirmed the day and time via text, and made our way to the new office off of Highway 160. The sleek furniture and state of the art equipment scream professionalism, while the smiles and humor of Dr. Marshall and his team make that professional atmosphere pleasantly personal. My appointment began at the time I had requested, and both my time and comfort were respected. Cost of services and payment options were explained clearly, and, with evening and weekend options available, scheduling my next appointment was surprisingly easy. Visits to the dentist are rarely pleasant, but Dr. Marshall’s office certainly makes a point to make patients’ experiences comfortable and efficient.

I have been going to Dr. Marshall for a little over 3 years now. I’ve had regular checkups and a couple of fillings, and I am very pleased with his work. All of my visits have been very efficient with little to no wait time. If you inquire about a service (whitening/straightening/re-doing dental work/etc.) he will give you an estimate considering what your insurance will pay. I wanted to speak about the service itself first, because he and his staff are always so friendly and personable. You won’t go wrong with going to River Vista!

Dr. Marshall and his team are amazing. I had developed a phobia for dentists from childhood. Dr. Marshall has broken that fear. He has gifted hands. He is gentle and is great at getting you relaxed. Thanks Dr. Marshall for another miraculous extraction, not even after pain and no medication.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS DENTISTRY! From the receptionist, to my hygenist & the dentist it was such a wonderful experience. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about anything teeth related. I can’t wait to return, by far the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced from a dentist office!!

I’ve been a patient here since they opened in – I think it was 2014/2015. This is the best dental office and dentist I’ve ever had. They’re clean. They wear double masks. They only let you in after you fill out your covid form. Never had an issue with billing. They’re up front about cost. The staff is friendly. They have TVs on the roof to keep you distracted. And Dr. Marshall has great chair side manner and does a great job. And they work hard to ensure dental work is pain free. I’m not sure I’ve ever felt dental pain from any of the procedures I have had. In my latest visit, the amalgam fillings in tooth 31 were finally giving out. There was a lot of filling and I was worried we’d be looking at a root canal. But Dr. Marshall replaced the amalgam with resin, avoided a root canal, and sculpted the tooth so well it almost looks like it was never filled. It’s quality work.

I usually hate going to the dentist but every time I go see Dr. Marshall and his staff they make me feel at home and comfortable. My surgery was a success I had no pain during or after the surgery. They made sure I was good to go and that everything was taken care of. For any dentistry work I highly recommend coming here!

River Vista Dentistry will exceed all your expectations. Dr Marshall and his staff are always professional, knowledgeable and very attentive to all my dental needs. I have been going to River Vista for over a year, and I’m thankful to have found a dentistry that truly has a compassion for their clients. Dr Marshall made sure I was completely satisfied with all my dental needs both during and after each procedure. I would highly recommend this dentistry.

I give them 10 Stars!!! From the front dest receptionist to the cleaning was amazing! Got me in quick! Nikki was the one to do my cleaning and she was Awesome very gentle on my mouth!!! Best experience I have ever had at a dentist! I’m going back to get more work done I will update once the rest of the work is done. The doctor that saw me for the work to be done is honest and knows his stuff! Keep up the hard work guys!!!

Dr. Marshall and his lovely staff are great. I love the fact that he’s conveniently located in the steelecreek/berewick area. Not only have I gone, but so has my 8 year old son. I was surprised by how well he behaved, so yes, they’re good with kids as well. He truly takes oral health seriously, as he has me on track to get my gum health in order. I’m looking forward to a healthier mouth

Dr Marshall is amazing, treats everyone who walks in the door as family, you know the staff love their jobs and are not just at “work”. Coffee bar when you walk in, tvs on the ceiling so you can watch your favorite show while having your care done and massaging chairs!

Dr. Marshall is our hero!! We are here for a cheer competition, and while practicing the night before the competition started my daughter was kicked in the face, breaking four of her teeth. After calling dentist office after dentist last night and this morning, I received a phone call from his office. Not only did he squeeze us in at the end of his day on a Saturday, and the weekend of his wedding anniversary, he, his assistant, and office staff stayed for 3 hours after closing to repair my daughters teeth. She left beaming with a beautiful smile, her confidence back, and ready to hit the stage tonight. I cannot thank them enough! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being so amazing!!! Not only at what you do, but for your amazing heart!

I first went to Dr. Marshall due to pain in my lower right side. During that visit, he also realized that I had inflamed gums. He performed a root canal and he and his hygienist put me on a plan for improved gum health. His entire staff is friendly and professional. His office put me on a payment plan so I could afford the highest quality care. To be honest, I have “dental anxiety”, and Dr. Marshall has a way of putting me at ease. He clearly explained every procedure he needed to do (the root canal, plus the crown installation). He speaks in a calm voice, but he is not patronizing or insulting. I can feel his kindness in the way that he performs the procedures. The office is clean, modern and spotless. It doesn’t hurt that I was able to watch TV while getting my treatments and cleanings!

All of the staff is professional, while still making you feel like you are a VIP! Gorgeous, brand new facility w/ all the bells and whistles!! Dr. Marshall has really perfected his craft! You won’t leave there without a smile! And not just b/c your teeth look nice! I recommend this place to everyone I know!
