This was the first time visiting this office, Dr. Taveromina had recently collaborated with Dr. Clapcich. It was a great experience. I have been getting treated from Dr. Taveromina for about 8 years. It was different coming from his private office that had a homey feel to it. It had a open front and walk in right to the chair for treatment. Overall the staff were really helpful and Dr. Clapcich introduced himself with greetings which was thoughtful. The office had a consistent attitude.

Dr. Bob is the best! He and his staff (who are also the best!) are extremely professional, yet very personable. I wouldn’t even consider going to a different dentist. He was there for me when I fell on my teeth in 2018, and opened his office just to help me. I had knocked my jaw out of alignment. He worked on it, called an oral surgeon for advice (which was to continue doing what he was doing), and fixed it.

My son and I have been going to Dr. Clapcich for about 2 years. My son absolutely HATED going to the dentist. It was a struggle taking him. Prior to Dr. Clapcich we went through about 4 dentists. Some would lose their patience with my son. I don’t understand how it’s not understandable that a child would have fears when going to a dentist. After our first visit with Dr. Clapcich my son said, “I didn’t even feel the needle. I didn’t feel anything. I wasn’t scared”. That’s when I knew we would be sticking with Dr. Clapcich. The office is prepared with social distancing techniques, proper PPE’s, masks and a good system to keep patients out of the waiting room. They text you to stay in your car and wait for another text for the patient to come into the office. I am very dentalphobic due to past trauma. Every other dentist I’ve ever been to has been impatient and dismissive. One, while I was crying after a very painful filling (he didn’t wait long enough for the Novocaine) called me a “big baby.” I’m always apprehensive about going to a new dentist. I can’t say it was fun, but Dr. Clapcich and his team are considerate, patient, and treated me with respect. They listened when I explained my PTSD, allowed me to take breaks when I needed them, the nurse even held my hand and promised she would stay with me so I wouldn’t be alone with the doctor at any point. I still panic when I go to the dentist but each time I go now is a little easier. The most important thing is they NEVER violate my consent. They always explain what they are doing before they do it and ask before they do things. This simple act of getting consent is so misunderstood by so many medical professionals and it’s so reassuring when someone does understand it. If you are dentalphobic, have experienced trauma around issues of consent, or if you just want to be treated with respect, this is the place.
