Dr. Lichtenstein has been my dentist for more than 30 years and my teeth are in the best condition they have ever been. He always takes the time to explain all options thoroughly. I have some of his fillings that have lasted decades and I completed Invisalign a year or so ago as my teeth were continuing to move even at age 62 — so now they are straighter than they ever were. Last night, I happened to eat a roasted artichoke and I was chewing on some very tough leaves for 30 seconds and as I did so, I thought how glad I am to have teeth that could do that with no pain or problems.

I felt comfortable and even when he was stitching my gum, no discomfort. He also walks you through what he is doing and if you need it explained again, no problem. I normally don’t give reviews, but I came in with a dental emergency and it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. He and his staff were super nice. Zero pain. Other dentists I’ve seen seemed rushed and left uncomfortable chunks; others have made me worry that the drill is out of control spinning around and taking out other teeth! Dr. Lichtenstein took me on an emergency basis when i broke a molar, fixing it immediately with a temporary crown and then expertly putting in a permanent one when it was ready. For another broken tooth, instead of a root canal, he carefully put in another temporary crown on a trial basis, only giving me a permanent one after determining that the nerve remained in tact. His work is humane, expert, and pain-free. I heartily endorse Dr. Lichtenstein as the best dentist I have ever had.

After graduating cum laude from Brooklyn College, City University of New York in 1969, Dr. Lichtenstein undertook his dental studies at the world-renowned Temple University School of Dentistry graduating with the DDS degree in 1972. He holds fellowship status with the prestigious International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He presently maintains an office in Manhattan and serves as the Clinical Director of Affiliated Cosmetic Dentists of New York located on Lexington Avenue. Dr. Lichtenstein treats the full range of dental problems from the simplest single-tooth restoration to full-mouth rehabilitation. He is also skilled in the newest non-surgical treatments for gum disease as well as traditional approaches.
