Had three crowns on the upper part completed by another dentist who did a very good job but recommended another three crowns on the lower. My wife raved about her eperience with Dr. Mitchell so I decided to get a second opinion. He concurred with the other dentist and didn’t hard sell me to switch. I got a price from his office on the work and it was $1000 less than the first dentist. Just had to drilling and temporary crowns put in by Dr. Mitchell and have to say he’s the best I’ve ever been to and I’m 61 years old. Very impressed and counting the same when the permanents go in in two weeks. If anything changes my review I’ll update this post. Otherwise, highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Mitchell performed gum surgery on my daughter Morgan and we couldn’t be any happier with the outcome! It made a big difference in her smile. He was extremely friendly and made Morgan feel right at home and at ease about her procedure. We even went back the next week for her to have her teeth whitened instead of going to her regular dentist. I would recommend Dr. Mitchell in a heart beat!!!!

I’ve been a patient at this office for almost 31 years and would recommend Dr. Mitchell and his outstanding hygienists to anyone. The office staff is very nice, efficient, and professional as well. My teeth and gums have never been healthier. The office practices good Covid-19 protocol and goes the extra mile when checking for things like possible oral cancers. They’re in Addison and I live in Bedford. It’s worth the drive to me.

17 years ago I was in extreme pain from a botched dental crown from a local dentist – I was referred to Dr. Mitchell. I called the office in tears and was told to come immediately. I’m a wimp that is afraid of the dentist. After reading amazing reviews and finding out that they had the option for sedation, I decided to come see Dr. Mitchell. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so caring and reassuring. I was so at ease that just nitrous was good enough for me. I had to get some fillings done and they gave me headphones so I don’t have to listen to the drilling. Mindi is an awesome hygienist. She takes the time to explain everything and answer my questions. If I had any concerns, both Mindi and Dr. Mitchell will talk to me about it. I no longer dread going to the dentist. Honestly I look forward to it because my teeth looks great now and I feel more confident with myself. If you’re looking for very nice people, who will remember you and work with you and your fears, this is the place to go.

I had a severe toothache. I called and they made room in their schedule to bring me in same day to get it looked at. I chose Dr. Mitchell’s office because aside from his credentials, his office staff seemed extremely friendly. It was not a disappointment. Dr. Mitchell has been our family dentist for the past 36 years! He is that good!!! He’s always given us the best care and great recommendations for treatment plans. One time I had a crown come off on a Friday night and he met me at his office on Saturday morning to reset the crown. That’s service! When we’ve needed specialists, he’s always referred us to wonderful specialty dentists. I highly recommend Dr. Mitchell and his staff! They are all fantastic!

Wow did I get lucky choosing the right dentist. Found them on Yelp and would give 6 stars if I could. They are the friendliest team I have ever met and Dr. Mitchell & his team provide a catered service that make you feel like they’ve known you for years and are a VIP. My first visit was for a consultation and I was given a full office tour. Upon meeting Dr. Mitchell he already knew all the ins and outs of who I was and what I was in for. By my second visit a week later I was addressed on a first name basis and had even received a personalized hand written note in the mail. The team shows what they’re doing on a monitor and provided a mirror for explanation throughout- taking their time and making sure I was comfortable and informed. Truly exceptional service!

Haha I thought I would never write a review talking about I had a wonderful time at the dentist, but Robert G. Mitchell and his team really know how to treat their customers. After working with Dr. Mitchell, I can see why he is known as one of the best dentists in Dallas. It was very easy to set up an appointment and be seen. Once you get there you can tell they genuinely care about their patients bc they treat you like family. Dr. Mitchell came up with a plan to get my teeth fixed up nicely, and the very next day he began to execute. He is a very skilled in his work and never once hurt me during the whole treatment. WOW! I did not know dentist office like this still exists. I only went in for a cosmetic consultation but was very impressed by the nice and genuine treatment by Dr. Mitchell and his staff. It has a very small town feel which is very hard to find these days. Dr. Mitchell even jumped out of his chair at his office desk to greet me while I was being given the office tour. He spent way more time than I ever expected examining my teeth and explaining every detail. I am still on the fence about the procedure due to cost but regardless I will make this my dentist from here on out!

I absolutely LOVE this place so much!!! I originally came in about a year ago just to get some bonding done in order to fix a gap in my front teeth. At the time, I was going to a different dentist that I had been seeing for years. From the phone call with Susie booking my first appointment, to the experience I had when I came into the office, and everything in between, it has been so great! Dr. Mitchell and the ENTIRE staff are all so kind, energetic and make you feel so comfortable! Dr. Mitchell and Tracie did such an amazing job on my bonding. He really takes the time to make sure everything looks perfect and that the patient is 100% satisfied! I had bonding done twice beforehand from other practices and it just did not look cohesive and natural. I was so frustrated because I thought after seeing two different dentists, that my teeth were never going to look like I wanted them to. I am SO glad that I decided to try one last time with Dr. Mitchell! I also had a discolored tooth for about 6 years that my previous dentist told me was fine. After less than 30 seconds of meeting Dr. Mitchell, he noticed the tooth and expressed concern that it may be dying. Sure enough, it was and I got a root canal. Because my experience here for bonding was so awesome, I decided to transfer over for all of my dental care. I had my first teeth cleaning here today and once again, so amazing! Mindi did such a great job and explained every step to me which I appreciate so much!! I cannot recommend this place enough!!! !!!

My husband , who is not a fan at all of dental work, literally fell asleep in the exam chair during his DEEP CLEANING… Lol….We were cheerfully greeted by our first names when we walked in, no waiting…We were given a tour of the entire office and even ended up in Dr Mitchell’s personal office. Dr Mitchell took the time to welcome us and we had fun walking down memory lane while looking at the college pics on his wall. Just the most Charming people with a caring spirit. It made all the difference in the world. My husbands teeth look amazing and he didn’t hesitate to schedule his follow up. I was referred to Dr. Mitchell by a co-worker almost 10 years ago and couldn’t be happier. He has the friendliest staff. You walk in and Susie greets you by name. And they all remember what’s going on in your life (kids, spouse, work, vacations, etc.) They genuinely care about their patients as people and care about their health. Staff turnover is extremely low. I think i’ve only had 3 hygienists over the years. With my prior dentist, it seemed like i was seeing a new one every 6 months. And they are extremely accommodating. I was just there last week and after my cleaning, Dr. Mitchell took the time to do a quick fill on a sensitive spot near my gum line which was not planned prior to the appointment. They are also low pressure on elective procedures. They will make suggestions and give you all the details and let you make the choice. Absolutely NO pressure. I highly recommend Dr. Mitchell’s office for any and all dental needs.

As a physician, I am very picky about my dentist. Dr. Mitchell was referred to me by several high profile faculty at UT Southwestern. I have used Dr. Mitchell for my general dentistry, Invisalign, teeth whitening, and whitening a tooth that had undergone a root canal. When I moved further north, I looked for a dentist closer to home, but recently when my teenage daughter had a dental emergency, the first dentist I thought of was Dr. Mitchell. There may be several good dentists in the Dallas area, but none surpass Dr. Mitchell. He is highly intelligent, but down to earth and straight forward. He answered all of my questions about my daughter’s tooth before I could ask, and included several cosmetic considerations, which I greatly appreciated. I trust him completely for any dental issues. Hands down – among THE best dental clinic experiences ever! The staff is incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. You will not feel rushed in and out. I was introduced to everyone and given a tour on my first visit, and even met the doctor before he had his hands jammed in my mouth. Typically you never see the doc until your cleaning is over, but that’s not the case here. As you have your procedure or cleaning you can listen to your Pandora stations, which is a neat feature. And, the staff is very thorough. No surprises when you go to pay. They walk you through everything upfront. Also, they are incredibly accommodating. I was able to get my fillings the same day as my cleaning. Looking for a dentist? Well stop. Go to Dr Mitchell.
