Firstly, this is the first review I have ever written and I am writing it because I feel it is warranted and deserved. When I first sat in the waiting room of Dr. Ethan Harris’s practice, I engaged in some friendly conversation with the lady sitting next to me. She asked me why I chose Dr. Harris as my dentist? I explained that it was just pot luck in that I chose a dentist which was close to the hotel where I was staying in San Ramon. She told me that I had chosen wisely and commented on how good Dr. Harris was. I was delighted with this feedback as I hadn’t heard anything so I was really just taking a chance. Since then Dr. Harris has carried out a range of different work on me all of which was carried out in the most efficient, professional and thorough manner which I have ever encountered. Dr. Harris is a perfectionist and will not stop until he is completely satisfied with the work he has done. I could not recommend Dr. Harris’s practice enough. Ashley and Jess who work at reception are superb and Laurie who assisted Dr. Harris has a kind nature, is extremely professional and places great emphasis on the patient always feeling relaxed and comfortable. Everyone I have encountered at the practice are friendly, welcoming and professional. Without question the best dentist I have ever gone to and I could not recommend this practice enough. I just finished a 2 visit procedure with Dr. Harris. He removed 2 very old crowns and gave me 2 new beautiful crowns that matched my other teeth perfectly. His office is brand new and beautiful, the rock n roll theme is very understated and classy. Even though I am “elderly” I enjoyed the look of his office very much. I’m very particular about my who takes care of my 78-year-old mother who has significant dental needs. I sent her to Dr. Harris because I know HE’S A VERY SKILLED CLINICIAN with a GREAT PERSONALITY. He exceeded my and her expectations for assessment of her needs and delivery of excellent results. Moreover, she was impressed with the time he took with her after scheduling her emergency appointment only the day before. Now that’s customer service!! He went above and beyond for her follow-up: sending us an email after-hours to summarize the appointment and give recommendations for the next steps, including before and after images of the work he’d performed. The final product was gorgeous! As dental professional myself, I am well-acquainted with Dr. Harris’ work and am consistently impressed. Dr. Harris and staff were lovely! I had been going to the same dentist for many years in San Francisco. However due to her raised prices and the long commute time I decided to find a new dentist closer to home. I needed someone I could trust and he was highly recommended. I was so happy when Dr. Harris opened his new office in San Ramon. There is plenty of parking at his new location in Bishop Ranch 11. His office is really fun with its rock and roll decor, great music, and the front desk staff was very helpful. Dr. Harris gave a very inclusive and detailed exam and did the cleaning himself! He was very gentle And massaging chair was super comfy. I thought I had a chipped filling and he confirmed my suspicions. I came back the following week to have this repaired. On this day he had a new assistant who was extremely pleasant and efficient. I was very pleased to find the new filling is smoother, and more the the shape of my natural tooth so the bite is greatly improved. Dr. Harris uses a painless numbing technique and offers many options for managing the anxiety and stress associated with dental visits. Dr. Harris will put you at ease with his gentle demeanor. His passion and expertise is cosmetic dentistry. Our priorities are whole-body health. We help our patients understand if they have a dental link to a medical risk. We work directly with their physicians to get our patients in the best health of their life. Currently practicing at Financial District Dentistry, Dr. Ethan Harris is a dentist. He looks after the community of San Francisco, CA, and takes pride in providing individuals with dental care that best suits their oral needs. He believes in explaining to his patients about their dental conditions and helping them practice oral hygiene. Dr. Harris graduated from Tufts University, where he earned his dental degree. As a dental professional, he tries to stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry to provide suitable treatment options to his patients. He does so by attending various scientific sessions at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Harris has authored several articles in various journals in his field of specialty and is also a recipient of numerous awards.
