A little bit more expensive than other orthodontists I researched, but totally worth it and very happy with the results. Dr. Lim uses the most updated equipment, so there’s no messy molds or discomfort for the child on that end when prepping. The braces themselves were great, only mild discomfort, and no old-school retainers. They mimic Invisalign. He even has whitening product you can use with the retainers to whiten the child’s teeth once the braces are off! The staff is great and always on time, and Dr. Lim is kind and patient.

Dr. Lim is wonderful.  From his bedside manner to the care he provides, we couldn’t be happier. He takes the time to get to know his patients, and their parents.  He is conversational, gentle and extremely knowledgeable.  He breaks down the treatment and goals in a way that is easy to understand.  Dr. Lim’s rates are very reasonable and he worked with us to come up with an affordable payment plan.  He gave us a rate for the whole treatment, so we didn’t have to worry about added expenditures along the way. His office is beautifully done, decorated to please both children and adults.  When you walk in, he has video games for kids to use while waiting, but his staff is so prompt and friendly, the wait time is usually short.  Head into the examination room where there are televisions over every chair for kids to either watch movies or play video games such as Angry Bird.  For any annoying or painful procedures (like impressions or tightening wires), the kids don’t even complain, they are distracted with the TV. There is a computer at each chair where Dr. Lim can show you what the plan is, or the progress you have made. There is a separate, private examination room for adult patients.    Dr. Lim is available for emergencies and very accommodating with his schedule.  He has a fun website where the kids can play with what colors for their bands to be. I had braces in Junior High.  When I was told my elementary school children should be assessed, I was skeptical.  But after seeing the results of the treatment, I am so glad we did not wait.  In one year, my daughter had her braces on and now off, with an amazing smile.   My son is still wearing braces, and month by month, you can see the transformation.  I feel that our investment in Dr. Lim’s treatment has made a world of difference in our children’s lives.  They have increased confidence and feel good about themselves. I highly recommend Dr. Lim.  You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Lim takes great care of my daughter’s orthodontic needs. We were referred by Dr. To, also wonderful who’s office we have been going to since it was under Dr. Osman. We were referred to her almost 16 years ago when my oldest daughter had a traumatic experience with another awful dentist. Our kids have all loved going to the dentist ever since we found Dr. Lim and Dr. To… which is far different from the experience I had growing up. How did they accomplish this? Make an appointment for your child and you will surely find out. The office staff are also very accommodating, professional, and amazing. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our girls’ smiles!

I just finished my 18 months of Invisalign braces with Dr. Lim. This has been a wonderful experience. It could not have gone better. Dr. Lim and his staff are caring, professional and wonderful. I have not any a single issue and my teeth turned out fantastically. I now have the perfectly straight teeth I dreamed of having just 18 months ago. I can’t stop smiling I am so happy. Dr. Lim is soft spoken and kind. One could not ask for a more caring person.

My husband and I consulted  a number of orthodontists before going with Dr. Lim.  We are both undergoing Invisalign treatment.  I am nearly done and am very pleased with the results. For both of us, appointments have been easy to schedule and are very quick.  The staff gets you in, out, and on your way.  Not in a rushy sort of way just in an efficient sort of way.  Dr. Lim and the staff are very friendly.  Everything was explained to us up front very thoroughly and they took time to answer all my questions.  The payment terms were very clear and the pricing is very good.  I have no hesitations recommending Dr. Lim.

Love this office. My daughter was referred to Dr. Lim by her regular dentist.  I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Lim and his amazing staff.  After her first consultation, she was told to come back after she had lost all of her baby teeth.  We went back in 19 months ago and we opted for Invisaligns.  The second consultation was great.  Dr. Lim explained everything and was so knowledgeable.  We began the treatment and 19 months later, her teeth are straight.  Every time we went into the office, the staff greeted us and there was NO wait.  It was easy to get an emergency appointment and easy to change appointments.  The staff is SO flexible.  I would recommend Dr. Lim to anyone looking to perfect their smile.  It was such a pleasurable experience.

Dr. Lim has been working with my son for the past 1-1/2. I am so impressed with the work that he has done. When we first came in, my son had a pretty severe gap which made his speech difficult as well as difficult to eat. Dr. Lim is literally one of the kindest, gentlest, soft spoken and knowledgeable orthodontist I’ve ever met! My kids and I love him so much, and we are feeling a little sad knowing our time working with him will soon be coming to an end. If you are looking for a great orthodontist who will answer all of your questions and treat your child with respect, kindness and top notch service…Dr. Lim is the man for you! Big shout out to his staff as well, because they’re always amazing too!

My son has a rare condition wherein a few of his baby teeth will not come off naturally in his growing years nor permanent teeth will be growing on their place once extracted. With this, the baby teeth and a couple of permanent teeth had to be be taken out and braces will be used to even out the teeth for him to have a normal bite. Dr. Roger Lim and his staff made the ordeal lighter. He was very accomodating and patient in answering all my concerns. My son feels so comfortable in his clinic, it’s like another home for him for more or less 3 years. His braces have now been taken off and we can’t be any happier with the result. Dr. Lim is absolutely the Orthodontist I will bring my child to and recommend to everyone who need expert care. Thank you Dr. Lim and all the staff you are all awesome.

Dr. Lim and his stuffs are simply the BEST! It was my second time doing braces… They went over everything I need to make sure I understand. If you have any questions, they are more than happy to answer your questions! I lived in Sherman oaks but I needed to stay in San Gabriel for a month. Since they have an office in Alhambra, they allow me to come in their Alhambra location for that month. They are very flexible and nice! I’m so glad I did my brace here:). If you need to get braces, do it with Dr. Lim!

I was visiting LA and thankfully found the kindest orthodontist ever! My two nieces and I were in town and the older one has braces. The bracket on her bottom last tooth came loose and the wire was sticking out causing it to dig in her gums/cheek. We had just arrived in LA and were not due to go back home for another 5 days. After several failed attempts trying to find an orthodontist who could fit us in last minute, I found Dr. Roger Lim. I called the office and spoke to the sweet and friendly Jennifer and explained our dilemma/drama. She spoke to Roger Lim and I was asked to take my niece in ASAP. As soon as we got there we were greeted and welcomed in the nicest manner and were in and out within 20 minutes. Dr. Lim took the bracket off and cut the wire down and gave us some wax to cover the end part of the wire. I had a very happy niece who could now eat and be her usual self. I can not thank Dr. Lim and his staff enough for saving the day and our trip to LA. The way we were treated was 5 and with the upmost kindness. Thank you sooooo much.

Both of my girls just recently completed her ortho and now, they have perfect smiles for their recent graduation. Thank you Dr. Lim and friendly staff. Another amazing quality of Dr Lim is also very generous doctor helped his community in need … he had helped my daughters throughout all her fundraising. Thumbs up for Dr Lim.

I told my dentist (Dr. Cajulis) that I have always wanted to fix my bite but that so far no orthodontist I had seen was confident about being able to help me. My dentist recommended Dr. Lim to me and after reading the great reviews about him on Yelp, I decided to give it a try. Dr. Lim’s office is really quite amazing. There is a setup of PSPs in the waiting area (I don’t play games myself but I can imagine many would enjoy it while waiting – although so far I haven’t had to wait at all). Furthermore, he has television screens on the ceiling above every patient chair (even the patient chair inside his office) where you can browse through everything from Netlix and Hulu to Pandora.  The office is really made for you to feel comfortable. The receptionist Maria is sweet as can be and is always very helpful. Dr. Lim is genuinely caring, kind, knowledgeable, and patient (I had a lot of questions), and he really took his time with me when he explained about my options. In fact, I felt so confident with him that I decided to do the Invisalign treatment with him right then and there. We took care of everything in that same appointment, and I have just gone back to get my first three sets of aligners. Everything has been consistently awesome, and Dr. Lim went out of his way to email me a couple of little videos that show the expected progress of my teeth. He also gave me free teeth whitening on top of it all. It is rare to find such an amazing doctor (who has such an amazing staff and such an amazing office)! When I went to get my Xrays done, we went to his wife’s dental clinic (for kids) next door, which was just as warm as Dr. Lim’s office and was built as a big children’s playroom. It was really great and I thought to myself that this would definitely be the office I would take my kids to.

I have three boys that needed braces and went through Dr. Roger Lim and had a great experience with all three.  With my second child, one orthodontist recommended pulling one of his teeth but Dr. Lim was able to use braces without having to remove any teeth. His office staff is very positive, kind and thorough. They are very kind and performed admirably on all dental work. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for either braces or Invisalign or needing any dental work.
