I feel comfortable going to Dr Cheney for my dental care knowing he has trained at an excellent dental school and has many years if experience. There were treatment choices and I liked the way he took time to discuss them and answer questions. I can say the work was painless. He has a way of massaging the cheek so you hardly feel the shot and I have been very pleased with the results. As other reviews have mentioned he is gentle and considerate and these qualities are seen in his staff as well. An excellent dentist and staff.

Dr. Ron Cherney is hands down the BEST dentist I have ever had! My entire life I have been terrified of those very long put off dentist visits and every dentist I have had in the past was terrible. Three dental hygienists lived on my cul-de-sac. ALL of them, and their families, went to Dr. Cherney, and recommended him highly. Our whole family has been going to see him for about 15 years now. It is like visiting friends. EVERY SINGLE PERSON there is wonderful…no exaggeration. Everyone in the office, Lisa & Shelley, our wonderful hygienist, Donna, the dental assistant, Diane, and of course, Dr. Cherney, are professional, friendly and kind. We moved to Simi a couple yrs ago, about 20 miles away, each way. We won’t go anywhere else. This is the way people did business fifty years ago! I highly recommend Dr. Cherney and his wonderful staff. They are genuinely caring people. Dr. Cherney is a great dentist. Even if we move fifty miles away, we’ll still travel to see them.

I only worked for Dr. Cherney for a short time,but I have been in the dental field for over 20 years and he goes on the best boss list. Dr. Ron Cherney’s practice is great. I’m never afraid or upset to go to the dentist. Dr. Cherney is kind and very gentle. He is jovial and very personable. They are never pressuring me to have more x-rays or extra work done and are not alarmists. Dr. Cherney is very thorough. My whole family switched to his practice and we are all so glad to have made the switch. I feel like I am in totally competent hands. And I love when Dr. Cherney compliments my teeth, its makes me so proud of them. I come out smiling and displaying my beautiful healthy teeth. The staff is friendly but never fake. Donna is lovely. She keeps up with you. Asking how was that thing you mentioned last time? What are you up to these days? Scheduling and confirming appointments is easy and painless. I highly recommend coming to this practice. It’s not exactly in my neighborhood I drive roughly 20-30 minutes without traffic to get there but it is certainly worth the drive. Parking is always easy to find and free

Ron Cherney and his staff have been my dentist since I moved to CA in 1998. He did my original crown that lasted me until gum recession required me to replace it with a better fitting crown. I don’t think I’ll find a better dentist anywhere! The replacement crown looks and feels like the real tooth! He fixed some front tooth recession and roughness perfectly as well! No pain, all the gain!! He’s my go to dentist!! Thank you Dr. Cherney!! You’re the best!

He attended Boston University and graduated from the College of Engineering, attended UCLA Graduate Engineering school and then USC School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1973. He has been in San Fernando, California since then. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the San Fernando Valley Dental Association. He is married to Lisa Meyer, a family law lawyer, and has three children, Benji, Eric and Megan. Benji is married to Jenna Cherney and has given our family the most special granddaughter in Lila. Dr. Cherney has written three books, two for children and one about golf.
