I’ve been going to Dr. Ngo for 4 years now and I can’t say enough good things about him and his team. He takes the time to explain everything in as much detail as you want, and with me being in the medical field, I really appreciate when he dives into the anatomy. You can tell he cares about his patients and is passionate about his work. He and his amazing team will go above and beyond to provide the best care and make sure you’re taken care of.

Dr. Ngo has a very approachable bedside manner. He is caring, knowledgeable, a good listener, and highly professional. What I found special about my visit was observing his commitment to empowering all of his patients to make informed decisions about their dental health. He takes the time to teach patients how to read their x-rays, explains the why behind what’s happening, clearly outlines your treatment plan, and is transparent about the invasiveness of a procedure/any sensation you should expect to feel. I have never had a dentist treat me with as much dignity and respect as Dr. Ngo. The staff is also BEYOND friendly/helpful and the dental cleaning I received from Stacy (I believe) was the least painful I’ve ever had. Thank you!

I have been so scared to go to the dentist . after I was in a major car accident that I was ejected from after a Semi ran me off the road. Which broke one side of my teeth. I was embaresed Say the least.  They were kind , caring, never judged me.. Everyone was kind. all the way up till they closed. They made me have hope again. Thank you

Dr. Ngo is amazing. After trying out a few different places in town I was finally referred to S&L by some good friends. As someone who doesn’t like the dentist I finally found a home and will never leave. Dr. Ngo and his team make you feel so comfortable. They explain everything in detail and are very gentle! He recently just did veneers for me and has completely changed my smile. Everyone I meet is so impressed with his work and I cannot thank him and his team enough. If you are looking for just a regular teeth cleaning or looking to get a brand new smile look no further and give Dr. Ngo and S&L a call!

Dr. Ngo is such a great dentist.  I would not go anywhere else for my teeth except with him. My husband and I love the service he has provided for me and my family. He has improved my smile and the way I feel about myself.  In the past, I have looked all over the valley to find a good dentist and I finally found him, who I can truly trust. I am also so amazed about the way he cares for his patients and ensures it is a pain-free procedure. Prior to seeing Dr. Ngo, I had built so much anxiety from having bad experiences from other dentists. However, Dr. Ngo knows how to make his patients feel at ease by educating them on their dental procedure. In addition, he has a cute service dog, Dino, who is the sweetest and will comfort and cuddle you in every visit. After every dental procedure Dr. Ngo takes the time to check up on me to make sure I am doing okay.  He is a perfectionist when it comes to dentistry. He made sure we were both satisfied with my new smile. Dr. Ngo is skilled, talented, and the very best in Arizona. I would highly recommend anyone that is looking for a great dentist to go and visit Dr. Ngo at S&L Dental.

The difficult thing about writing this review is keeping it short. I have nothing but good things to say about S&L Dental. I had a dental bridge fail the day after Christmas 2020. Over the last several years I had started to be disenchanted with my existing dentist and their response to this new issue was equally disappointing. Knowing at this point that the work required would be more complicated than I originally thought, I elected to search for a new dentist that had more current experience with dental implants, and one where I felt they had a passion for their work. My wife found Dr. Ngo while conducting an on-line search for a dentist that met our criteria. I called them, not expecting them to answer the phone (week between Christmas and New Years) and Angela answered. She advised they were closed but she’d be happy to discuss my situation and help however she could. After explaining what I had been told I needed, and further discussed why I was looking for a new dentist, she arranged for me to see Dr. Ngo on their first day back in the office. Dr. Ngo evaluated not just my dental bridge failure, but also my mouth as a whole. On the spot, he worked with me to establish a plan that made sense, and took the necessary time to fully explain his thinking. It’s difficult for a non-dental trained person to make a proper assessment of quality, however, I would assess it as very high as judged by comfort and appearance of the crowns installed thus far, the speed and efficiency of the office visits themselves, and less post procedure pain and soreness as compared to my prior dentist. The ability to easily communicate with these folks is awesome, and serves to alleviate the stress and uncertainty associated with a complicated treatment plan. While I rarely write reviews……I would definitely recommend trying these guys……I’ve been very impressed.

I came to S&L Dental for a routine cleaning and teeth whitening. Dr. Ngo and his staff were friendly and extremely professional and were able to work me in on a day that was suitable for my work schedule. The results were remarkable and I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for great dental work and great customer service!

Dr. Ngo is the best dentist I have ever been too. I needed multiple cavities filled and I felt no pain during the procedure or after! Truly a pain free experience. He also fixed a chip in my tooth and it looks flawless. Prior to seeing him, I waited 6+ years to see a dentist because I dreaded going. I can honestly say I don’t mind going to the dentist now! The entire staff at S&L have been super friendly and amazing. I can’t rave enough about my experience here. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend S&L Dental if you’re looking for a dentist’s office in the Scottsdale area. The professionalism of the whole staff is second to none. All greetings and communication from the time you walk in is top notch. Dr. Ngo is an excellent dentist and Dr. Yacoob is an outstanding surgeon. They explain the procedures in detail and answer any questions. I recently visited S&L to have an implant procedure done. Dr. Yacoobperformed the procedure quickly, efficiently and with minimal discomfort. The dental assistant also did a great job during the procedure. The best dental experience ever!!!  Dr. Ngo is a perfectionist and he explains every step as he goes along.  I had a cleaning, 2 filings, and a crown and will never go anywhere else.  The office staff is professional and caring.  My crown looks just like my natural teeth – no dark line around the gum area.  You are missing out if you don’t go to S&L Dental!  You’re welcome.
