So, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I wanted to write this review. I want to word it just right so that everybody truly understands how amazing of a dentist Dr. Elder really is. I worked as Dr. Elders assistant and sadly had to quit because my husband and I ultimately decided that we wanted to raise our family back in our hometown. Here are some facts about Dr. Elder from my perspective. 1- He really does care about every single person that walks through his doors. One time I asked him what his favorite part about being a dentist was and he said “the people”. 2- If you’re nervous, he will do everything he can to make you feel comfortable and at ease. (He’s also hilarious, so that’ll take your mind off of the nerves on it’s own.) 3- He takes the time to put the smallest of details in to his work. I was blown away when I saw him put grooves and “anatomy” into a simple filling on the biting surface of a molar. Something, no one except for him and the patient are ever going to see. 4- I don’t have a single negative thing to say about him or his work. I have referred my family to his office and will continue to do so. I will also gladly drive 2 hours in each direction (and pass hundreds of other dental offices along the way) just to continue to have my work done by him. If you are trying to find a new dentist, I recommend you give Dr. Elders office a try.

Thank you Dr. Elder! For the first time in my life I feel comfortable going to see my dentist. Dr. Elder has performed 1 root canal and 3 new crowns since I joined his practice. Dr Elder is thorough, fast and has a gentle touch which is surprising because he’s a tall guy! I love that he remembers my dental history and always educates me about best course of action. He puts my well being ahead of the mighty dollar. Last point…it’s always fun to run into a jazz player at his office.

Dr. Elder is a fantastic dentist. Not only is he very good at dental work, he is also very personable and easy to talk to. He is the most honest dentist I’ve ever been to so I know I am not having my teeth worked on for no reason. It is very clear how much he cares for his patients as well. When my daughter had an accident, he didn’t hesitate to see her even though it was after hours. He kept my daughter calm and unafraid and did a great job fixing her tooth. I would recommend Dr. Elder to anyone.

Jen is fabulous. Dr. Elder is very patient centered. He will always do what is best for the patient. He is personable and makes going to the dentist fun. Jen is gentle and always concerned about how you are doing. She is knowledgeable and efficient. They are on time. Thanks for your concern and help. I would give them more stars but ratings only go up to 5!

We have been customers for 5+ years now. Best Dentist I’ve ever had! I was recently promoted at my work, but involves a relocation out of state. Just as I accepted the offer at that moment I realized and said “I’m going to lose my Dentist”. I truly am saddened that I will miss this Dentist office, Scott and the entire team. Salt Lake Dental Clinic has done wonders with my teeth and have taken very good care of us. Thank you Scott and the Team for your amazing work!! Highly Recommended.

After going to other dentists and being told I needed certain things done I asked Dr. Elder. He told me what needed to be done and what could wait. It saved me a couple hundred dollars. This made me realize he wasn’t trying to rip me off. He has fixed cavities in my daughter’s teeth and did a great job. She was never scared and he was quick. I like his staff as well. They seem to be really nice to my family.

My family has been going to Dr. Elder for several years now. My kids look forward to cleanings, baby teeth being pulled when they’re on the verge of falling out, helping with each others cleanings and making cow utters out of gloves with Dr. Elder. My kids loved the office from the start. Very welcoming and lots of goodies for them to take home. Dr. Elder and Jessica are a great team and always available when we need them. Without him, we wouldn’t have the perfect smiles we do. He’s done great with cleanings for us with braces, which is a huge deal. Honest, dependable, caring, affordable and available – these are important qualities in a dentist and I don’t care how far I have to drive, I’ll always stick with this team!

Dr. Elder is fantastic! I’m so thankful we found him. My 3 year old daughter went in to have a cavity filled and because he is so warm and friendly, my daughter felt comfortable with him and was completely calm the whole time. Other dentists I called had told me that because she is only 3, they’d have to put her under anesthesia to work on her cavity. People, you should NEVER let someone do that to your toddler outside of a hospital setting! Luckily Dr. Elder is not an idiot and he didn’t even mention the option of anesthesia. And as for myself, I will never trust anyone else with my teeth. I had him pull a tooth for me and I knew it would be a difficult job due to the condition of the tooth, but he got it out with minimal effort and I wasn’t even in pain afterward. Not even the next day! That’s never happened before. I think he is a wizard or something.

I love this team at Salt Lake Dental Clinic!!! From the moment you walk in the door you are welcomed with a friendly and professional staff before quickly being taken back to get your dental work started. I cannot stress enough in words how impressed we are with Dr. Elder (and his knowledgeable and highly skilled assistants ) and how he has transformed the smile of my 17 year old daughter. Due to a childhood accident she broke out her front teeth and has anxiously awaited her “new” teeth for years!. Dr Elder has made certain that she received the perfect teeth, including returning the first set as he did not think they were exactly the right look, as well as putting a rush on the process to ensure she would be all finished before a big vacation. She now has the gorgeous smile she’s been waiting for!!! Love love love these guys!
