As we are all experiencing these hard times. I recently had a dental emergency. Truly grateful Dentist of South Jordan got me in same day to get it taken care of. It was a clean and professional environment. They had a questionnaire about exposure and took my temperature before getting me fixed up. Thank you Dr. McAffee and your awesome staff for being there during these odd times.

I have a rare disease that causes severe allergic reactions and Dr. McAffee did everything he could possibly do to make my experience better. They were able to use another numbing medicine in order to make sure I didn’t go into anaphylactic shock. He was willing to listen to my health concerns and put me at ease when other dentist offices refused to work on me do to my severe medical issue. I highly recommend them. Thanks again Dr. McAffee

I was lucky enough to get in to see DDS McAffee with most other dentist offices closed due to Covid-19, where I discovered I was going to need a Root Canal. Despite this news, the staff at Dentists of South Jordan were so well prepared, professional and compassionate that my experience was without a doubt the best dentist visit I’ve ever had. Even the root canal was fascinating, with the 3D sculpting, and on-site crown milling, we knocked it out in one visit. Not only was I treated excellently, but doctor McAffee himself reached out to me the next day to follow up, not just on the procedure, but as one human being to another. I can not thank your team enough!

Dr. McAffee is my new favorite dentist! The staff is so considerate of cost, and they make it clear that they don’t want to pressure patients into getting unnecessary procedures. Dr. M is patient and explains things thoroughly so that you can make informed decisions about your care. I am afraid of needles and I really like the way this facility handles numbing shots. First numbing ointment is used, then surface shots in the tissue to make the real shots (the deeper injections) not painful at all. I am a big wuss with needles, but Dr. M and his staff made me feel so much more comfortable. This staff consistently goes above and beyond for their patients.

Called Monday at 1030 to see if they could reattach a temporary crown done in Phoenix two weeks ago that came off Saturday. They said they could take me immediately. Immaculate brand new office, great service from everyone. All electronic for everything: medical history, signatures, X-Rays– no paper in sight. Dr. McAffee and his assistant Chelby were great. Charged me very little, too! If my son wasn’t a dentist in Phoenix, this would be my first choice. Ten stars.

I’ve had nothing but bad experiences trying to find a dentist after mine passed away. Basically all were incompetent. Until I was sitting in the waiting room and Dr McAffee came and sat next to me, handing me my coffee cup gift, and introduced himself. Offering me juice, water, hot chocolate! We went to his office he asked of my concerns then explained what he was going to do. He’s very knowledgeable and has an awesome bedside/dentist chair manner! The staff were all great as well. I learned a lot from just 1 visit. I went back for my root canal and, for the first time in 25 years, I had no pain, no after affects and no complaints after the procedure! I’m very pleased I have a new dentist that I can count on! Highly recommended! Thank you all !!

Dentists of South Jordan has been taking care of my husband and I for over two years. We have had nothing but great experiences with them. Dr. McAffee is kind, patient, and thorough. He always does a great job of explaining procedures. Caralee in the office is so warm and helpful. Love this office and could not recommend them enough!

I had a great experience while being seen at SL Modern Dentistry. I saw Emily Thompson as my hygienist, she was the epitome of professionalism as well as very kind! I have been a tobacco user for about 7yrs and Emily was very non-judgmental and gave me very sound dental advice on what to do about my use. I overall had a great experience at SL Modern Dentistry, and would highly recommend everyone go there to see Emily!

We went to Dr. McAffee yesterday for the first time. He was wonderful and so was his entire office staff. The place is new and very clean. Dr. McAffee was kind and thorough and sensitive to our needs. We had been going to a dentist who wasn’t kind to my kids and impatient with their fear of shots. Dr. McAffee reassured me that if they need dental work and shots, he would be patient and if their fears were still too high, we could try sedation. Something our other dentist never offered, just yelled at my boys if they cried at all when they got the shot. We are excited to take our whole family here. I also liked how thorough the appointment was, he sat down with my daughter and I before her cleaning and addressed any concerns. She has braces and has had teeth sensitivity. He explained it is often normal, but they would try a flouride treatment to help. I also don’t like root canals fr the potential risks on the whole body’s health and am happy that he tries to avoid them as much as possible. I would recommend him to anyone. Will update after we take my boys and have work done

Dr McAffee and his staff are amazing!! Dr. McAffee took the time to explain all my treatment options even following up with a call after my visit. His staff are fun, friendly and professional! The office is new with all the latest technology and very clean! I could go on and on which is hard thing to do about a visit to the dentist but Dr. McAffee is seriously the best around!!!!
