Its taken me years to find a dentist I liked in LA, Ive been to a few but its been shotty work and over charging. Fast forward I was was getting tooth pain and realized a filling came loose from a root canal that I ever got a crown for. Had to find something quick but also trying to find someone who was transparent. My first visit I was surprised at how much I felt as ease even being nervous (because you know, the dentist can be scary lol). He asked me what was bothering me, and then noted some other work I needed and we came up with a game plan. Alma and all of the other staff are super helpful and pleasant to be around. Alma was VERY clear about the total procedures, what insurance would cover, how we can schedule the work, payment plans and when best to work with the insurance (deductible costs and etc) – it was very refreshing to have someone willing to lay everything out and make sure what was needed was done within my schedule and price range. Dr Zabolian is gentle and well mannered, also careful not to disturb my makeup too much lol (i usually book appointments in between my work schedule).my 2 teeth that needed emergency work have been taken care of and im Happy to say I finally found a dentist I liked and feel comfortable with, would recommend

Hands down the best dental practice I’ve ever used. As someone with the common fear of dentists, I am so happy to find Dr. Zabolian and his team. The office staff is very welcoming, and easy to correspond with. The nurses and techs blend their knowledgeable skills with a compassionate approach to care. Molly, the oral hygienist, knows her work well and has the all-important gentle touch. Samaritan Dental Arts works smoothly thanks to Dr. Alan Zabolian being at the helm. When you’re sitting in his chair, you can hear him and the team working together to make the best experience for every patient. He is NYU trained, and very passionate about the art of dentistry. He is also humble and approachable, patients get a feeling that he cares about his work and your health and comfort. As his patient, he wants you to know what procedures are necessary, and why it is beneficial for your oral and overall health. The office will work with you to ensure your procedures and appointments can meet your budget and your calendar, which can include Saturdays. So book early and often!

What can I say? I went to the  dentist for the first time in 5 years and left with 2 fillings repaired, my chipped front tooth bonded and an appointment to get a follow up deep cleaning (he can do it all at once unlike other dentists that try to break it in 2 sessions. Trust me, I actually need this. It’s not just an unnecessary procedure). I checked out with the office girls within an hour of arriving. Everything covered by my insurance and they were so pleasant, I felt like I cheated them by not giving them something. I missed my follow up appointment due to some scheduling snafu on my end, but I need to make these ladies cookies, or something when I come back. It’s rare to find a comfortable, clean dentist office, close to home, with state of the art equipment, a cool, talented dentist that is quick and gentle, AND a great office staff that treats you like family

This is an incredible dental office & I highly recommend Dr. Zabolian & Samaritan Dental Arts. Dr. Zabolian & his assistants are great! They all have great personalities & really put you at ease & make sure you’re comfortable. Everything is explained & although you’re at the “dentist”, you don’t really feel like it (The music is a nice touch) I hadn’t been to a dentist in years, so on my way to the office, I had this nervous energy & apprehension, but it wasn’t needed. Glad to finally have a dental office I feel confident about, such a relief!

Dr. Z. is an excellent  Dentist. He takes pride in being a perfectionist and his work is perfect. My experience with Dr. Z was painless and the ending results were better then I had ever expected. He is caring, thorough and so good at what he does. He always makes sure you are comfortable and talks you through what he is doing, plus there are great tunes to drown out the drill!I  Dr. Z sincerely cares about his patients. It is without hesitation that I recommend Dr Z. The integrity, professionalism, and care he extends to his patients is unmatched in the industry. I highly recommend his office to anyone!!! Ok so coming to the dentist is not where I want to be Saturday morning but it is appreciated that a GREAT dental office is open on Saturdays, Dr. Z is a great dentist he is upbeat, funny and tries to make you feel comfortable when you come to see him,  his cleanings are very detailed and the dentist does them himself,  the assistant is very nice and gentle with xrays, and the receptionist is very welcoming and helpful if you have any insurace questions.  I will definitely bring my children and husband to see him, also the office is very clean and organized

So lucky to have found Dr. Z and his staff! I wanted to replace some silver fillings I had and needed to get couple new fillings. As opposed to other dentists I had been to, Dr. Z was very clear and honest as what was realistic and what I should expect when replacing my silver filling for composite. His prices are reasonable and his work is top notch. I am so glad I decided to let him work on my teeth! On top of his excellent work, his staff is super friendly and professional. I’ve been to many different dentists but now I found Samaritan and I don’t think I’ll ever need to look for a new one

Coming from a small town in Indiana where my dentist literally came to his office at midnight, on a Saturday Night, to fix my chipped 2 front teeth… I thought I would never find the same amount of care in a large city like Los Angeles. I WAS WRONG! I called Dr. Alan Zabolian at 9am as soon as they opened and explained that my filling had chipped. His team’s response was, “how fast can you get here?”… By noon I walked out with a perfect smile again. Dr. Zabolian not only fixed my chipped tooth, but also smoothed out and crafted my other front tooth (where I also have a filling) so they perfectly matched each other. Dr. Zabolian is a highly skilled dental professional with amazing attention to detail. I would highly recommend Samaritan Dental Arts to anyone who is looking for not only an amazing dentist, but a dental staff who treats you like family

I’ve always been particular about the dental offices I visit.  I found this one about 3 or 4 years ago; it’s been a while!  In any case, I’ve been seen solely by Dr. Zabolian for the past year and a half and let me just say, he makes every effort (without any) to make you feel at home and accommodated. Dr. Zabolian is very relaxed and down to earth but still very much a professional.  I’ve never had a bad experience or felt any pain during his procedures. The office is small and private, yes, but it’s just the way I love it. I don’t like bumping into other patients or waiting and if you don’t either, you should consider changing to Dr. Zabolian. Parking is easy and convenient.  I would recommend parking on the highest covered level and walking the stairs the remaining way up.  The building elevators can be kind of slow.  Besides, the office it located right across from the stairwell adjacent to the parking structure. Even if I didn’t have medical insurance, I would still continue to see Dr. Zabolian and if he moved offices, I would still make the drive to him

Having had horrible dentist experiences throughout childhood I never looked forward to visiting a dentist….until now. Dr. Z, Alma and everyone who works there has been nothing but kind and supportive. They never once made me feel bad for the state of my teeth, and always cared more about what would be best for my health. I’ve had experiences with past dentist’s where they shame you into feeling bad for not taking care of your teeth (Which I understand, but sometimes life just happens). Dr. Z and his whole team made me want to take care of my teeth more, and their support made all the difference.They were also very transparent about how much everything would cost and always laid out my options, never ever trying to force me into a more expensive path of treatment just for the sake of it.
I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say, the office is great, appointments are on time (they don’t keep you waiting!), Dr. Z’s work is impeccable, so what are you waiting for? Especially if you have any previous dental anxiety, trust me you’ll be in great hands!

I was 100% satisfied with my dental experience with Dr. Zabolian. The staff managed to fit me in last min the same day I called. Since I was in a tremendous amount of pain, from work done by another dentist. Unlike my previous dentist Dr. Zabolian took the time to educate on the reason causing my pain. Pulled up X-rays and gave me a great understanding of things and gave me a plan as well.
