We have been going to Dr. Vanchieri for many years. He is highly recommended. His office is not part of any insurance plan, but here is a real tip: The better dentists don’t accept insurance, however his office helps with the paper work to file your claim. We have total confidence in his recommendations. I actually compared his prices to an in-network dentist on our insurance plan and the difference was laughable to be honest.

Good dentist and overall experience back when I lived in NJ. I went to this dentist for many years before moving away. Office staff was always friendly. There was always a wait time for scheduled appointments, but that seems pretty common at the dentist’s office anyway. Dr. V is a nice guy and explains what’s going on with your teeth. He won’t recommend filling “extra cavities” the way some dentists do, just to make an extra buck. When he did fill several cavities for me (oops) he always did a great job and made sure everything was shaved down the right way so my mouth closed right. He whitened my mom’s teeth once too (as per her request) and she actually did have a noticable difference. He’s an honest guy and will give you his real opinion. I remember my sister wanted veneers and he explained why she was NOT a good candidate for the procedure. Two other dentists had said exactly what my sister wanted to hear.. but taken to a legit dentist she was given the real answer. Did it make him money? No. Did he make an appropriate judgement that was in her best interest? Yes. The dental hygenists there are super nice- I usually had Anita, who is awesome and gentle. If you are looking for a skilled dentist with a cool fish tank and a nice staff this is the place to go.

I have been a patient at Dr. Vanchieri’s office for 15 years. I was recommended to his office by a friend when I moved to Berkeley Heights. His work is impeccable and he cares so much about his patients. Latest appointment was for cosmetic dentistry that I wanted for myself to look extra special at my son’s wedding. Oh my gosh, I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of this work! From his wonderful office staff to his assistant and the hygienists, this is the place to get your dental work done. Everyone at this office is considerate and I am writing another review as an update. Dr. Vanchieri did 1 filling today for me. He explained everything he was doing and was able to show me my cavity (I could really see it!) on an x-ray. But the best part of the appointment was how pain-free the novocaine shot was.

I’ve been going to Dr. V for over 30 yrs now. When my children were old enough, I brought them to his dental practice as well. We’ve shared tales about our respective kids growing up and about our families’ adventures through the years. Even though I have lived out of the area since 1985, I still make the 50 min hike eastbound on rt. 78 to go to my dentist. He’s taken excellent care of both my routine dental health and crownwork, and makes himself available for the occasional dental emergency. The hygienists who’ve worked with him over the years have all been wonderful. I expect to keep my teeth in good shape by continuing to use this dental practice. Dr. V is also an excellent photographer and displays his photos in each of the dental rooms for his patients’ enjoyment! It will be a sad day when he is no longer practicing dentis

Awesome dentist with an office full of pictures of his kids and dogs. Haven’t had a cavity in years.. but Dr. Vanchieri’s always done my check ups and helped get me into a night guard for my TMJ. Dr. Vanchieri has been my dentist for years and he is wonderful. This week I had a molar break. I called first thing the next morning and he had me in for X-rays and pictures. He stayed late the next night to prepare the tooth and fit it with a temporary cap and the following day I was back for impressions for the new tooth! You certainly can’t ask for better patient care. Waiting for my permanent cap to be prepared now. Love Dr. Vanchieri!

Exactly what you need in dental care. Been a patient for 30 years, so definitely nothing negative to report. If you want quality care and a dentist that fully explains what is going on with your teeth and your options for care / restoration, then this is where you want to be. His equipment (x-rays and cameras) will show you what you can’t see in a mirror. Fillings, crowns and cleanings; never an issue with any of my procedures with this group. Moved to Georgia 17 yrs. ago, but still make my appointments when back home to visit.

I have been going to Dr Vanchieri since he took over this practice. He does thorough work but steers clear of doing unnecessary work. For example, he’ll put a watch on a tooth and explain why. Further to the thorough, he doesn’t just check your teeth but your whole mouth. In that regard he found a rare condition in my cheek tissue that was able to remediated. In follow ups for this condition, doctors have asked who found the issue, and I proudly say, “My dentist Dr. Vanchieri.” One last point to how excellent I think he is — while living for eight years in Ohio, I retained Dr Vanchieri as my dentist.

He explains everything that he is doing and is on top of all the newest procedures. Dr. Vanchieri’s office staff are also top notch. His assistant Sarah is so kind and patient. Elizabeth is also so sweet and efficient scheduling appointments and billing insurance companies. Lois, his hygienist is also very kind and gentle. My children are grown now and my daughter travels to Berkeley Heights from Pennsylvania for Dr. Vanchieri. She won’t go to anyone else and neither will my husband or me! I actually feel like the entire office staff, but especially Dr. Vanchieri are family!
