Called and got an appointment the same day, Came into see the dentist because of tooth ache, Tom at the front desk greeted me and was super friendly as soon as I waked in. Did not wait long and had my exam done by Ahmed the dental assistant who also super friendly. Ask me what brought me in and felt like he was genuinely concerned about by symptoms. Dr Fred was also great! He examined closely and gave me thorough explanation of what might be causing my pain. Will be returning to get my cavities filled. Also to note they were actively cleaning throughout my examination and even screened me for COVID symptoms when I arrived, I was happy to see they are taking precautions!

I loved this place. I am one of those people who avoid the dentist like the plague and only go in every few years. However after coming here I am seriously considering coming back in 6 months like you’re supposed to. The receptionist is really nice. At the start of the visit they took a ton of X-rays, more then I’ve ever had in one go, and it took a really long time. However it was totally worth it. The dentist is really nice and doesn’t stab you with a metal pick while asking you stupid questions like “when was the last time you flossed?” He simply spent time looking at the X-rays and did a very simple and painless exam. It was the first time I left without my gums gushing blood. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them to anyone who is a total wimp about their teeth.

I was from Arizona on vacation and I needed a consultation on a discolored tooth. I was totally happy with SD Smile Dentristry. I got an appointment quickly. I was able to do new patient paperwork online which was very convenient! Dr. “Fred” Harandi was very nice as well as his staff. Office was busy but he was on schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

I’m new to San Diego (as of June) and did my due diligence searching for a reputable dentist in the 92123 area.  I read countless reviews here, and on other sites, about San Diego dentists and am glad I chose San Diego Smile Dentistry.  I went in two weeks ago for a routine cleaning and an issue I was having with a painful tooth.  Turns out I needed a crown (not my first).  Dr. Fred and his staff helped me feel so comfortable during the procedure for the temporary crown and was able to do it right there after my cleaning.  I just had the permanent crown placed yesterday and could not be happier.  My tooth pain is completely gone and I can eat again using both sides of my mouth.   Bottom line…. I can echo everyone’s else’s positive reviews with my own.  The entire staff there is fantastic and San Diego Smile Dentistry is now my dentist of choice for the foreseeable future.  If you need a great dentist, a caring staff, and a good location, this is your place.  I can’t recommend it strongly enough.  Wonderful experience.

Been coming here for a decade now! Even after moving away I still come back. Drove down from LA today just to see my dentist Dr Harandi! Great as always. Had a chipped tooth and he was able to see me during this covid lockdown which was awesome. Asked him about Invisalign which they now offer and now I’m fixing some crowding issues I’ve experienced with my teeth. Super clean, attentive, excellent customer service as always!

Smile Dentistry is by far the best Dentist I have gone to. They are flexible and work with your schedule. The Dentist and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. I had three cavities filled and the Dentist and hygienist constantly checked on me to make sure I was doing ok. During the procedure I was able to wear headphones and watch Netflix, it definitely made the time go by fast. Dr. Fred even called me the day after my appointment to make sure I was ok. They truly care about their patients.

I was referred by a friend a while back. She told me they were really nice, inexpensive and really know how to make you feel comfortable when seeing the dentist. She was right! From scheduling my appointment to when I was having the work done on my teeth everything ran smoothly. Tom the receptionist was great, he was really good at explaining everything about my insurance and even offered to give me a discount if I payed cash. I was also really impressed with the hygienist. Bemy, she really knows how to do her job. Let me tell you, X-rays are something I hate with a passion because I almost always gag, well not this time, her little hands did excellent because I didn’t gag once! She also did a really good job with my cleaning, felt like it was very thorough and professional. And I loved Dr. Fred. He explained everything before beginning my procedure and was very good at answering all my questions before and after. He has this camera that shows you exactly where the cavity is. Everywhere else I’ve gone they either showed me an x-ray I didn’t understand or just told me I had a cavity without showing me proof, well not here. He did my fillings gave me 2 shots and I didn’t feel a thing. They also have video goggles so you can watch Netflix while they work on you. Isn’t that great?! You can literally Netflix and chill while they work on your teeth! Overall I was really satisfied with the care I was provided. Thanks to Tom, Bemy and Dr. Fred I’m definitely coming back. Keep it up guys!

I am all praise for Dr. Fred and San Diego Smile Dentistry. Dr. Fred did an excellent job with my dental bridge.  
He made sure the measurements are accurate so that the bridge fits well in the first go and I must say I am pleased with the results. His staff his friendly and courteous.  Tom works closely with you on your options, schedules and finances. He made things really easy for me.

This is the absolute best dentist office I have ever been to. I started coming here about 4 years ago and my first visit was by accident, I was referred to a different office but somehow I switched them around and came here instead. They were so nice about it and squeezed me in. I did the invisalign treatment here and I am so happy with the results. Every visit is a laid back and relaxing experience with Dr Fred and his staff. Dr. Fred is the absolute best, he has an amazing way to keep you at ease and make you want to go to the dentist. On the rare times when I have to bring my kids with me they are so great and patient with them. I recommend this office to all my friends.

I came all the way from Chula Vista to Kearny mesa for a new dentist, my old dentist Doctor Eusebio was trying to up sell me so much I had to leave. Best decision I made. Tom in the front was very polite and approachable and the assistant (I think her name was Bemy) did a great job with my cleaning and assisting the doctor. Doctor Harandi is great by the way! Even though he’s young he definitely knows what he’s doing. Best dentist in San Diego, I already recommended him to all my friends and family.
