Hands down the most thorough dental check-up I’ve ever had. I didn’t even know dentists look for the things he looked for. He was friendly, extremely informative and patient. I weirdly can’t wait to go back to see if my oral health has improved as per his recommendations.

SF Dental Spa is the best dental practice I’ve ever been to. l had a crown placed by Dr. Kogan a few months ago. It fit perfectly from the first try and it it looked absolutely natural. The whole experience at this dental office is amazing: from the herbal tea in the beginning of your appointment to a massage by a real spa therapist at the end of the appointment. I love coming here, everyone is caring and friendly. Dr. Kogan is a very compassionate and skillful dentist. The only minus is it gets crazy around there during the games, their office is only a block away from the Ball Park, parking can be a pain in the butt on those days. Tip: park at Safeway across the street and get your parking validated.

I hate dental offices. But San Fran dental spa is not your ordinary dental office. Dr. Kogan and his wonderful team created this wonderful oasis where you can take a nap, watch a movie or listen to the music while getting your pearly whites fixed. I came to see Dr. Kogan on the recommendation of my brother. He and his family have been going there for many years and they all rave about this dental spa. I wanted to replace my amalgam fillings with white composites. Dr. Kogan took his time explaining what’s involved in the procedure and its pros and cons. I felt absolutely comfortable with Dr. Kogan’s expertise and decided to go ahead with the replacement. It took three visits to replace all of my amalgams and the result was outstanding. The entire team, from Mary at the front desk who stayed on the top of my insurance coverage to Ming, the dental assistant, who was so sweet and gentle during the procedure and massage lady who was just wonderful at working my tired shoulder muscles after the procedure was done. My mouth is metal free now and thanks to Dr. Kogan feels fresh and healthy. There was zero sensitivity during and after the treatment. Through out the procedure, he made sure I was comfortable. He asked me several times if I was tired and wanted to take a break. Dr. Kogan is a master of his craft – highly skilled, highly knowledgeable, I can’t recommend him enough. My only complaint is that they stopped confirming appointments by phone calls. They send you reminders by email and text, but I miss those good old phone call reminders rom my dentist:)

Wow! I loved this dental spa! I had my first visit here yeterday and it was great. The office is beautiful, spacious and very, very clean. Even the bathroom is sparkling clean and beautiful. This place smells so nice, like a spa. Relaxing background music, cup of herbal tea, and you feel that you are in a spa. The whole team is friendly and professional. Dr. Kogan is awesome. Kind, gentle and knowledgable. I love that he practices Minimally invasive dentistry (read his bio on their website). So i had a couple of small cavities and he recommended to treat them conservatively with a combination of special topical medications that block the caries and stop it from progressing. I loved the idea of preserving my teeth fot life by nurturing and reinforcing them instead of drilling them away. So far my experience at the Dental Spa has been amazing. These guys are the best in town.

Wow! I had never seen a dental office like this. Having had my share of bad dental experiences, i was in search of the dentist whose opinion i could trust. A friend recommended The Dental Spa, and from the first visit i was impressed. Dr. Kogan wowed me with his knowleage and patience. He really listened to me, heard my concerns and was able to address them with an intelligent plan and a sraight forward explanation that just made sence. The entire experience that Dental Spa provides is very calming, high quality and professional. They place big emphasis on patient’s comfort. They offer organic tea and mineral water. They have a spa therapist for quick spa treatments, and MASSAGE! I am not kidding , you can have a massage after your dental treatment. When they gave me massage after keeping my mouth opened for an hour while the dentist was fixing my two back fillings, i forgot all about my fillings and fell askeep right in the dental chair. I am telling you, massage after the dental procedure is the best thing that happened to dentistry in a long time. Their hygienist is great, very gentle and soft spoken. Front desk people are friendly and helpful. They work with your insurance and always inform you of your charges before-hand. You go into the procedure fully informed of what your insurance will cover and what you are supposed to pay. They do collect half of the payment upfront when you schedule appointments, which makes sence, they want you to show-up for your appointment and not waist doctor’s time. Dr. Kogan is excellent. He is very sharp and knowledgeable. He checks-up on you constantly during the treatment to make sure that you are doing ok. He asks you if you are tired and need a break and gives you as many breaks as you need. I never feel rushed by him and that makes me feel well cared for and more relaxed. All teatment that Dr.Kogan has done so far on my teeth has been great, felt comfortable right after anesthetic wore away and never ever hurt. The Dental Spa is located in the great neighborhood, a block from the Ball Park, a few blocks from Embarcadero. Often after my dental appointment, I take a pleasant stroll down to the Ball Park and along the Bay, enjoy a beautiful view of the Bay bridge and walk leasurely to the Ferry Building. I enjoy my visits to the Dental Spa. I had never thought i would say that about a dentist’s office. I recommend Dr. Kogan and the Dental Spa to all my family and friends.

Dr. Kogan is the best!!! He did veneers on my upper teeth – they are absulutely beautiful and look so natural. I can now smile wide and be proud of my gourgeous teeth. Dr. Kogan indeed is a master of his craft. So much attention to details, scrupulous work and human energy goes into into this process. He worked on my veneers until they were absolutely perfect. It’s been great going to the Dental Spa, very friendly and relaxing place. I rarely had the time to enjoy the complimentary spa treatment after dental services but it was always nice to have the choice. Dr. Kogan is very knowledgeable and provided detailed explanations of issues I had and how to treat them. I definitely recommend the place.

Wow, I’ve never seen anything like this dental office. I was referred to SF Dental Spa by my cousin, later I found out that several of my co-workers go there too. Let me start by saying that they did a great jog designing their facility and creating a spa-like dental practice that has a fill of a five star resort. A huge water fall, a huge palm tree, candles, relaxing spa music, massage therapist. Wow! Now about the dental team – they are superb! Dr. Kogan is the most knowledgable and corkiest dentist I’ve met in my life. Anything you want to ask him, he’ll know the answer to. Definitely up-to-speed with all the latest advances in dentistry (and politics). I love that Dr. Kogan is a “minimally invasive” dentist (see his bio on their website). I had two cavities on my teeth, Dr. Kogan said they were small and could be treated conservatively. So he prescribed an ozone therapy with an herbal rinse and intense flossing (yea, I know, I hate the flossing part). Six months later – cavities have stabilized, will be closely monitored. Mind-blowing technology… The entire team is top notch. Everybody from the assistants, front desk to the spa therapist make you feel at ease. They also work with your insurance and make sure you get your treatment covered by your insurance plan. This has been the best dental experience in my life. Go check out SF Dental spa! I came here for an emergency visit yesterday. Awful pain in my back molar had kept me awake the entire night, no pain medications had helped. I could not find a dentist who is opened in SF now during COVID 19. Then a friend of mine recommended to try her dentist, SF Dental Spa. I e-mailed them, they responded immediately. They scheduled a virtual consult first. Dr. Kogan was very attentive, asked a lot of questions and was able to diagnose the infection. He said I’d have to come in to see him in the office. They screened me for COVID 19 symptoms to insure I am healthy to be seen during the video call, then they screened me again when I walked into the office, measured my temperature and everything. Dr. Kogan had to open my tooth and drain the infection. He was very thorough and fast, the hole procedure took about 30 minutes. I did not feel a thing. With the COVID19 fears, I was very worried. But the doctor and his assistant were wearing all the protective gear, the office looked and felt and smelled very clean and sterile. I felt very safe. Most importantly, I am happy to report that since anesthesia wore off I have not felt any pain in the tooth. Dr. Kogan is the best, very competent and caring. The whole experience was amazing. I’ll definitely be back once things settle down.

Dr. Kogan was great. The care was great and it was always a low-stress visit yet I felt it was comprehensive care. 4 years of care. I see night guard comments as a negative here, I got a night guard while a patient here and have loved having it. I grind my teeth and it’s been helpful. So in my case it made sense. I never had invisalign pushed. My wife got invisalign, which she came into her first appointment intending to get – and she had a great experience on that side. We departed the Bay Area so no longer patients.
