As an adult woman I am not proud and not publicly announcing how long it has been since I’ve seen a dentist. I have a bit of anxiety about dental visits, so when I finally got up the courage to make an appointment I searched Yelp! for the best in ABQ. Sandia Heights Dental Care showed up and so I trusted my fellow Yelpers and made an appointment. So glad to say everyone was right and this is a great facility! The first thing you should know is this dental office seems pretty busy and they are about a month out on scheduling appointments, so if you are considering going in call them now! The office was clean and professional and all of the staff were friendly and efficient. You can tell by the way they interact with each other that everyone works well together and they are a tight team. I told my technician I have a bit of anxiety and she was understanding and compassionate. She quickly took the edge off with a gentle touch and calming chit chat. She listened to my concerns and explained each step in great detail. The appointment went great and I booked not only my next cleaning for later this year, but also an appointment to discuss Invisalign, because this clinic does it all! I even grabbed a handful of business cards for my dental phobic friends. I highly recommend going here whether you are just looking for a new dentist or have some anxiety like myself.

I recently visited Sandia Heights Dental for the first time, and the whole experience was as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be. My wait was short and the preliminary (new-patient) screening was relatively quick as well. The hygienist Lauren was fantastic, very efficient without hurting me once – tricky, for a patient with super-sensitive teeth. Both she and Dr. Lee provided me with helpful tips and recommendations. Dr. Lee is warm, professional, more knowledgeable than any dentist I’ve been to (quite a few), and seems to easily put herself in the patient’s shoes. For once I’m not dreading my next trip to the dentist!

I think it must be very hard to be a dentist or hygienist. No one loves going to the dentist. I don’t either. Going to Sandia Heights makes it easier though. Fantastic staff, super polite, gentle, and patient. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and seemed to work to put me at ease. My children were apprehensive about their dentist appointment but Dr. Lee and her staff made them feel at ease. I enjoy regular cleanings and am glad that my children will feel comfortable returning for future cleanings. It is a little bit of a drive for us but well worth it for the care we all received. Dr. Lee and her staff are truly amazing! They are kind and personable and take excellent care of their patients. Dental visits can be tough for me as I have TMJ and a small mouth to boot–so it’s hard for them to get to all my teeth all the time… but when replacing fillings today they made sure I was comfortable, we took breaks to relax my jaw and even had a hot compress and mini-massage for my achy jaw muscles at the end, so I left the office as comfortable as possible–for having half my mouth numb! Thank you Dr. Lee and staff–you are amazing!

I’m highly impressed. My family (including a young child) has been going here for two years now. Dr. Lee has very high standards and I was very happy with the night guard they made me. She needed to replace a filling and did a really nice job. The office is efficient, but you don’t feel like you are getting pushed through, as I’ve sometimes felt in other dental offices. The dental hygienists all seem well trained and good at their jobs. I highly recommend this dental clinic!!

Being new to Albuquerque I wasn’t sure of where to go for my check up. I received a flyer in the mail for Sandia Heights Dental Care and with it being right down the street I decided to try it. Walking in there was music playing, a candle burning and new, clean magazines waiting to be read. I didn’t have to wait at all to get started with my check up. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the office, the friendliness of the staff, and the efficiency they used. The chairs were so comfy I almost fell asleep. I could tell the dentist was not in a rush to get done with my appt, she really cared about getting my teeth cleaned.

Dr. Lee and her staff are truly outstanding! They all show that they genuinely care about their patients, and Dr. Lee’s work is always excellent. She gives about the most painless numbing shots I’ve ever received, and her end results in her dental work are superb. I was extremely pleased that she was able to make a permanent repair on a front chipped tooth that had failed twice from repairs by another dentist- and the repair is completely invisible. I would recommend her to anyone- and have done so several times.

So happy we found a dentist that also understands we want straight white teeth! Other dentists made us feel like it was sufficient just to have healthy teeth and gums, but wanting something more and not feeling weird about wanting to achieve that is awesome. Went for the first time last month and would definitely recommend this dental clinic. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. The Tech who did the X-rays and cleaning was super gentle and nice.
