All of the staff that I interacted were with extremely nice and helpful. The office is brand new and super clean. Since I was a new patient I had to get x-rays done and the woman doing them continuously checked to make sure I was comfortable. They have a digital x-ray machine, which emits less radiation (if this is a concern for you). I was really impressed with the tools and technology they were using, that I hadn’t seen before at other dentists. Dr. Butterfield took the time to explain the x-ray results to me, which I appreciated, and no other dentist had ever done. The hygienist explained the gum measurements to me, which no one had ever explained before. Overall this was a great experience and everyone was thoughtful and thorough with my care. I also got 5 professional whitening trays for being a new patient, which was the cherry on a top of an awesome experience! Highly recommend!

I cracked a molar and was able to get an appointment here a couple of days later. They were respectful of my wishes to only have that tooth checked out and didn’t try to pressure me into getting anything else done. They referred me to a great endodontist down the road for the root canal and did the crown in-house. Honestly the new tooth+crown feels like it fits in my mouth better than my original tooth did. Everybody is very nice and professional and the office is new and clean

During my last visit several people worked on me one person kind of did a thorough tooth brushing and then the hygienist worked on me for about an hour and a half or more. I needed it. In previous visits the X-ray tech did a good job of identifying problem areas. I forget my dentist name but she did a very thorough examination. I strongly recommend modern dentistry very professional very friendly. And I want to put in a good word for the folks at the front desk. I hope I covered everybody.

I have probably one of the best dental experiences i have ever had. Katie, the dentist, was so good with my kids and fun with them. They had fun at the dentist! Elizabeth, hygienist, was so thorough. I have never left the dentist with my mouth feeling so clean. Ivan, office manager, makes sure you know exactly what is covered by your insurance and what you will pay out of pocket. No surprises. I loved all the staff!

I went to Samdy Modern Dentistry because I had a tooth that was giving me a lot of pain. I was able to get an appointment right away. They took xrays and Dr Butterfield performed an exam. She referred me to a Endodontist who did a root canal. I returned to Sandy Modern Dentistry a couple of days later to have a crown put on the tooth. This is by far the best dental office and staff I have ever experienced. The dentist is extremely professional and knowledgeable. The office staff is very warm, friendly and helpful. The hygienist is so gentle and reassuring. The assistant is very caring and personable. Their equipment is state of the art. The office is clean and the music is relaxing and fun. Their prices are fair and they give you all the options upfront so you can make informed decisions on what you prefer. They treated my special needs child in a very loving way. I highly recommend this new dental office if you like a caring staff! They even include a free Sonicare toothbrush for new patients. Our family loves Sandy Modern Dentistry!

I’ve been anxious about going to the dentist for years, after a number of painful or lecture-filled experiences. I just moved into the area and found Dr. Butterfield, and an so incredibly relieved! What an impressive office and staff. I felt like I was in control of my health because of the way they kept me informed and in the driver seat of my own care (this includes explaining what they were doing, the science behind it, the cost impact, or anything else I asked). They even offered to let me request my favorite music during my appointments. What delightful humans! Would recommend to anyone.

I found them in American Fork, but they closed and opened their doors in Sandy. I went In had a DNA test done then I returned to get the results. Turns out I needed a root cleaning . Lis, the higenist was very informative In expanding to me all the what and whys of the cleaning. The entire staff is a pleasure to work with!
