I highly recommend Santa Clarita Dental Care the office is very clean and the staff are very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. O has exceeded my expectations he came in after hours when my wife needed an emergency procedure. I am terrified of the dentist and needed to have an impacted wisdom tooth pulled the staff made me feel comfortable and Dr O. Completed the procedure without any pain or discomfort.

After 80 years of being a dentistry patient, both here and back East, I feel very qualified to say Dr. Okuyama is one of the best, both in his skill and his presence. I never thought I would welcome “going to the dentist,” but now it’s become a pleasant experience. Thanks to Natalia and the staff as well. You all make a great team, and I truly appreciate the wonderful care I’ve been receiving for the last couple of years.

Absolutely YES! I have had horrible experiences with dental work and have not been back to a dentist in a few years. Went in to this office because it was recommended by friends and family! I went in with tooth pain and a bit nervous in what I was in for! First off the staff was warm and extremely helpful and the dentist took SO much time and care doing all of my fillings there was zero pain and he wasn’t in a hurry. His priority along with focusing on fixing my teeth was really  making sure I was comfortable! 100% recommend!!!

My family and I have been coming to Dr Okayama for over a year now. I am so grateful to my friend for referring him to us. I came to Dr O in severe pain, right away he saw me and took care of the problem. He was awesome with my children as well they absolutely love him. Dr O is a very knowledgeable Doctor and very honest with his Patients, he will never advice dental work that is unnecessary or over charge you for his work even though he’s amazing at what he does. I absolutely cannot stand going to the dentist myself, i also don’t care for taking my kids even though i know they need to go.  Santa Clarita Dental and Dr. O have really changed my whole perspective.  My son (9) is currently sitting calmly and happily getting two cavities filled while jack Johnson is playing in the background.  I’m even calm at this point . I highly recommend this office, and this dentist!

I am embarrassed to admit that I am the biggest CHICKEN when it comes to seeing a dentist! My threshold of pain is below the zero mark. Just the thought of having any dental work done evokes fears and anxieties in me. My first visit to Dr. Okuyama’s Office was not a voluntary one!! I was forced to it by an excruciating toothache that had already been lingering for about a week. Natalia and her office staff made me feel at ease (not an easy task!) and arranged for an immediate examination. After showing me the X-ray picture of the biggest cavity, Dr. O. suggested the only option: Since it is irreparable, let’s extract the culprit and replace it with an implant. A lengthy procedure, to be sure, (several weeks!) but really the most logical one. The following operations went painlessly (after all, Dr. O is aptly known for his “velvet hands”!!) and I am now in full possession of my replacement tooth. Thank you, to you all….Natalia, Trinity and all the nice office personell for your great sense of humor and for easing my fears. And a Special Thanks to you, Dr. Okuyama. I promise to follow your maintenance instructions and from now on I will be seeing you routinely. Ps: I absolutely fail to see how anyone could leave a rating of less than 5-Stars for you and your office. You are the Best!!

Dr. Okuyama and his entire staff are all awesome! My husband and I have been going to Santa Clarita Dental Care for a couple of years now. When needing to make a change in our dental care, we chose Dr. Okuyama after he came highly recommended by my mom, who also had recently changed dentists. We are so glad that we did! First of all, the office staff is super friendly and you feel so welcome from the first time you step through the door for your initial visit. The entire staff makes their patients feel so comfortable, which let’s face it, isn’t always the case when needing to go to the dentist. The office is run so efficiently and they don’t overbook, so there is never a wait. You sign in, and practically as soon as you sit down in the waiting room, your name is called to come in to the exam area. One time I complimented Dr. Okuyama about this, and he said “he doesn’t like to wait, so he doesn’t want his patient to either”. I love that attitude! Also, the offices and exam areas are both immaculate, which of course is extremely important when visiting the dentist. Dr. Okuyama really takes his time with each patient. He is very thorough during the entire visit. I have never been to a dentist who does not have a dental hygienist on staff but actually does the cleaning himself. He is extremely gentle and always concerned that his patients are comfortable while in the chair. His Dental Assistants are all so sweet, patient and caring. With Dr. Okuyama, his wife Natalia who is a sweetheart, and the entire staff, you really feel like you are getting the best care possible! I highly recommend Santa Clarita Dental Care!

Best dentist and team ever! No other way to describe it. I am an adult and absolutely hate going to the dentist. Dr. O and his team made me feel so comfortable. I think I almost dozed off while getting work done…that’s how relaxed I was.Cleaning and fillings are a breeze in this dentist’s chair. Dr. O is by far the best dentist I have ever encountered. He explains everything well and is very thorough with his work. I live in Lancaster and drive to Santa Clarita just to see Dr. O. Definitely worth the drive. I was in a substantial amount of pain once and called to schedule an appointment. Natalia told me to come right in, same day…no need to wait til i took a hammer to my face to stop the pain. I am forever grateful! I had to re-treat a root canal, and Dr. O got right to work. While I was on my way out of Dr.O’s office, I received a phone call with some bad news. Natalia called me a couple of days later. She left me a message saying she hoped things were okay with my family. Truly awesome people. Can’t get any better!

Highly recommend Dr. O! He is really gentle and very thorough. The way he administers the Novocain is like no one else. I don’t even feel it (which is why Dr. O is now my permanent dentist)! Aside from his painless technique and very friendly and professional manner, they treat their patients like old time friends. Natalia is great. She works with you to let you pay in installments if need be. Very nice staff as well. They make me feel right at home every time!!

I found Dr. Okuyama through the internet as my husband and I moved to Santa Clarita and didn’t know a soul. Dr. Okuyama is great. He is very gentle and takes time to explain what he’s doing and what he recommends. Henry is awesome too. They make you feel so comfortable. And then there’s Natalia, Dr. O’s wife, who always greats you with a smile. She is so accommodating and my husband and I are thrilled we found this place. I highly recommend them!
