I just want everyone to know how wonderful Santa Monica Bay Dental is. I have been going to them for several years and I cannot say how sweet and compassionate the staff is for their patients. To my surprise when I went in for my regular cleaning this morning I was informed that I was patient of the week. I left not only with a beautiful smile but a tote bag, coffee mug, bottle of wine, and a gift card and a picture with my hygienist Kelley. Special thank you to Dr Feist for always smiling and keeping me comfortable.

Santa Monica Bay Dental is the best dental practice ever! The reception staff are always friendly and patient which I super appreciate. The office itself is a pleasure to occupy. The design is clean, yet homey, and the big windows provide lots of natural light, which really helps with the stress of getting dental work done. They have a mini fridge full of drinks and a coffee machine, what a dream! I love their high tech offerings, like laser cavity filling. I recently had this procedure done and I was amazed at how easy and comfortable the experience was from beginning to end, without a needle in sight. Dr. Feist takes plenty of time with each patient to address all your concerns and answer questions. Along with the high quality care from the hygienists (I recommend Charlotte. She is so sweet and very gentle), I always walk out of the office feeling very well taken care of. Keep up the great work, Santa Monica Bay Dental team! I couldn’t imagine a better dental experience.

Exceptional peoplel! Dr. Feist and Dr. Shafi are great at what they do, and they are kind people as well. The front office staff is always super friendly and welcoming, and Melissa in the back office goes overboard to help the billing/insurance process go smoothly. Couldn’t recommend this team more!

Can’t say enough about how well run and exceptional this practice is. I’ve been a patient for 6 years, starting as a patient of Dr. Feist and most recently seeing Dr. Face. The entire team is consistently friendly, fun and compassionate. Going above and beyond for their patients to provide the highest level of service and comfort is a noticeable part of the culture in this office. While the dental work itself is always impeccable, it’s the people and the way they treat their patients that set Santa Monica Bay Dental apart from the rest. Highly recommend

I have suffered from a 28 year long full on phobia of going to the dentist stemming from a horrific Marathon Man type experience in my teens during a tooth extraction In London. But then, I found the amazing and beautiful Dr. Shafi and she drugged me up to the eyeballs, sweetly probed me, drilled me with kindness and eventually  made me her (very willing) dental patient bitch. I love this woman.. And it’s not just the halcion talking….. Santa Monica bay dental is the best place ever for anyone with a dislike or fear of dentists, it’s filled with the kindnesses, sweetest, most gentle and amazing dentists, nurses and reception staff.. Special shout out to Dr Feist too–she rocks my world and was totally non-judgemental about the fact I hadnt set foot inside a dentist’s office in over ten years…..

I can’t even begin to think of a dental experience that would be better than the one I have with Dr. Feist and her dental assistant MaryAnn. Not only are they very professional and thorough but they have wonderfully buoyant personalities and I look forward to seeing them and sharing news about our lives. What even makes it better is that over the past couple of years the office has been enlarged and remodeled making it a state of the art dental facility with all the modern equipment. The clerical staff is technologically savvy, making it easy to schedule appointments and the dental hygienists are very thorough and well trained.  My family and I are very happy with Santa Monica Bay Dental.

We have been going to Dr. Feist for more than 10 years.  She is like a member of our family.  Her sunny nature makes dental visits less painful.  But she also gives you the bad news straight.  For example, if you need a root canal retreated or a new crown, she doesn’t sugarcoat it, which I appreciate.  She explains the treatment plan very clearly, and will communicate with other providers (e.g., orthodontist, endodontist, etc.) to manage your dental care.  Even though I have to drive more than a half hour to see her after our move to the Hollywood Hills, it’s worth the trip to go to a dentist I trust.

I had a fantastic first visit experience at Santa Monica Bay Dental. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.  I had Dr. Feist for my dentist, and she did a great job explaining everything to me.  Most dentists will tell you just enough (in response to your questions) to get you out of the chair, but it’s clear to me that Dr. Feist is passionate about dentistry…she could barely contain it and if I wanted, I feel like she would have given me a half hour lesson on whatever questions I had. She’s a great dentist and I’m thankful to Yelp for alerting me to it. Scott is there at the end for the check out process, and he helped explain the insurance situation in a way that made more sense to me.  He also gave some great advice in how to get the most bang for the buck in terms of the timing of my dental care. In short, they are friendly, professional, and good at what they do. I’ll definitely be back.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to! Dr. Lent and his staff took me from being to embarrassed to smile or laugh to smiling nonstop. Not to mention everyone makes you feel like family!
