The environment is enjoyable. That was a key of having a great experience here. Also, I’d have to say starting the process of having braces from the middle of 9th grade to the start 11th (a bit over a year and a half or so) was actually a very fast process in my opinion. I’m really glad I don’t have to deal with braces for my last two years of high school. Plus, my teeth are certainly straight.

I would just like to say that this place is AWESOME!!!! First, the office is like no doctor’s office I have ever been to. It’s done up beautifully! It is really cool and modern but not uncomfortable at all. The design of that office is just beautiful! Then there is Dr. Khan. She is possibly the best dentist or orthodontist I could ask for. Not only does she work with you but she really makes you feel comfortable. She is patient and takes the time to make sure the job she is doing is done right. I have been to many orthodontist offices and many of them made me feel rushed. Like they just wanted me out so they could get the next person in. Dr. Khan doesn’t do that. She takes her time and is extremely gentle. She seems to be great with children too. I’ve seen children come and go in her office and they always seem happy and almost excited to be there. Which is interesting because when I was a kid I was never happy to go to any doctor’s office. But kids seem to love her and that office. Basically if you are looking for an orthodontist, look no further. Dr. Khan is the best.

The Best!!! Getting braces when you are 29 is not the most glamorous, so I decided to go with Invisalign. Bad idea – it messed up my bite. Dr Rehana Khan had to put braces on to rectify the problem. Because I was moving to NY, it had to be a super quick turn around. She saw me every week for almost 3 months to get my teeth and bite aligned. She is sweet and funny, and her whole team is just wonderful. I was looking actually always forward to my appointments! The office is clean, organized, they were always on time, and always had a smile on. If I had to recommend an orthodontist – I would definitely pick Dr Rehana Khan and her team at Santa Monica Orthodontics

I was absolutely thrilled to meet Dr. Rehana Khan! I’ve never had braces before and was quite nervous to look into it in my 30’s. She is a true professional, extremely nice and very knowledgeable (graduated from a fantastic residency program at Loma Linda University). She patiently answered all my questions, addressed my concerns, gave pro’s and con’s of all options. She made me feel not only very comfortable but excited to start the orthodontic treatment. Her staff is incredibly nice, efficient and friendly. I met both Curtis and Adriana and they are both awesome! just a fun team! The office is very modern, clean with great visibility on the corner of 14th St & Broadway with plenty of street parking and very easy to find. Dr. Khan’s is not only a fantastic orthodontist in Santa Monica, but a very personable and down to earth doctor. I highly recommend Dr Rehana- to any other parent who asks me about where my daughter gets her braces. Our first experience was with an orthodontist recommended by our pediatric dentist. Being first timers we had a lot of questions – but we were made to feel bad to ask them and also felt rushed by the doctor. With Dr. Rehana-she was very patient and kind when explaining everything from the technical stuff to fee projections. Dr. Khan is the best orthodontist ever. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient. My daughter is currently in treatment with her and so is my brother. I have been in the dental field (general dentistry) myself for almost 17 years and before my daughter started treatment I took her to 3 different orthodontists I wanted to feel comfortable and trust whoever I decided will ended up doing her orthodontic treatment. Needles to say the first two doctors I felt uncomfortable with. They tried to up sell treatment and didn’t take the time to explain anything. One of the drs didn’t even bother to wear gloves to look inside my daughter mouth. She took less than 45 seconds to decided the treatment and step out of the office so the treatment manager could come in and sell the treatment to us. What a big difference with Dr. Khan. On our first appointment she took the time to explain everything to us. We never felt rush and she make sure to answer any questions we had. All her staff is extremely nice and polite as well. Roger, Adriana, Michelle and Arlene are a pleasure to deal with. I can’t thank you enough guys for the outstanding treatment you guys had provided us with.

Not only did she have the most reasonable quote, the office was modern (not like a typical dentist), the energy upbeat and friendly and she was extremely thorough in explaining what needed to be done. I felt like i was talking to a knowledgeable dentist who was also a parent and understood my concerns about treatment. i knew we’d be in excellent hands. we’ve been going for 4 months and simply couldn’t be happier. Dr Rehana Khan holds a Masters degree in Orthodontics from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry (LLU) in Loma Linda, CA. Prior to completing her postdoctoral Orthodontics residency in 2005 Dr Khan earned her degree in General Dentistry from LLU and completed the Dental Board of California Licensure Examination, and Western Regional Board Examination in 2002. While studying general dentistry Dr Khan was recognized for outstanding scholarship and earned many academic awards including the American Academy of Oral Medicine, the International College of Dentists Outstanding Achievement Award, the LLU School of Dentistry Academic Excellence Gold Award for performance on Parts I and II of the National Boards; the Teaching Learning Center Special Achievement Award as well as others. In 2004 and 2005 Dr Khan was an adjunct Assistant Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at LLU School of Dentistry. Dr Rehana Khan is a member of the American Dental Association.
