When the kids graduated from their pediatric dentist and my wife and I decided to find someone closer to Glenview, we researched and chose Scot be our new family dentist. Everyone is happy with the ease and comfortable environment of this community-minded dental practice. I highly recommend Dr. Malik and his outstanding staff.

Dr. Malik talks to you. He asks you how you’re feeling and listens to what you have to say. And he’s great at what he does. Plus he has THE most comfortable chairs for patients! I’ve never been one who disliked the dentist. And I don’t mind whatsoever going to see Dr. Malik! In addition, Marc – the office manager – is kind, considerate, and really knowledgeable on insurance. It makes going to his office enjoyable!

Dr. Malik is great for our routine cleanings and always sees us if we have a problem. I hated xrays before but now he has a brand new xray machine. I didn’t have to put any film in my mouth. It made the whole process so easy. Very helpful office staff as well. Highly recommend.

Dr. Malik, Mark, and Nadia were all WONDERFUL. They made me feel at ease, had fantastic bedside manner, and explained everything. Dr. Malik was dealing with malfunctioning equipment, and yet he took care of me with ease. I have been looking to find someone who could become a regular dentist – and I think I found someone!

First of all, great guy. Easy and painless and most important, quick. My 3rd trip and I have waited no more than 15 minutes total. Arrive, cleaning, xrays and out in less than 30 minutes- perfect. He’s great with my daughter and she actually doesn’t complain going anymore :). Easy parking. What else can I say, highly recommended.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Malik for about 30 years. Amazing dentist. Never does unnecessary work. Will not fill to bill like many others who are in the business. My children would beg to go to the dentist (no lie) 4 kids and they love the dentist. Payment plans always available if needed. My friend’s son broke his front tooth off 11 times and Dr Malik saved it everytime. He plays hockey. Great guy puts you at ease.

Dr. Malik provides a state of the art dental experience with a side of compassion. Very professional office and staff. He works wonders with adults and children alike. Providing an environment that assists those who might be hesitant about going to the dentist is a characteristic of Dr. Malik’s office. Would recommend for anyone searching for a new dentist…………5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Malik came highly recommended by a friend whose family sees him. He is nothing short of spectacular, and my children love having him as their dentist. His office staff is efficient and professional. We have never had to wait when keeping our appointments. They go out of their way to keep you comfortable and informed. A+ service!

Dr Malik was outstanding. He was a second opinion dentist turned into primary dentist. His understanding and knowledge were amazing. He is professional and a nice person. His staff also went above and beyond for my appointment. I have honestly never been seen by a better doctor/dentist.

After my dentist retired about 4 years ago, Dr. Malik is the first dentist I’ve seen since my dentist retired that was straight forward, honest about services and pricing, and great staff and personality. For the most part I have put off dental care until recently, but getting on track now that I am seeing Dr. Malik.

I had a very positive first visit to Dr. Malik’s office last week. I am very COVID conscious and the office was kind enough to accommodate me with the first appointment of the morning. Everyone was masked and there were no other patients present. They verified my coverage and I was ecstatic to learn I was eligible for 100% covered x-rays. I really don’t like going to the dentist, but Dr. Malik make me feel comfortable and was understanding, fast and efficient. My teeth feel super clean and I am pleased. I would recommend his practice.

He’s very kind, and engages his patients. I will say though, he takes off after the visit before you have a chance to ask any questions, or have a chance to say “have a nice week” or whatever. I also really like the office manager – Mark. He’s knowledgeable and takes time to really review your situation in terms of insurance, etc!

My entire family has been seeing Dr. Malik for over a decade and we love him and his office staff. They are all very friendly and give excellent service. What I love most is that there is never a wait-time; Dr. Malik is always on time! He also never tells me I need dental services that I truly don’t. My last dentist, unfortunately, told me I needed something every time I had an appointment. I ended up helping him put his three sons though dental school!

Dr. Malik is a kind, caring & patient dentist. He treats both of my young girls, as well as myself. Dr. Malik has a nice demeanor and is great with my kids. His office is small and he does all of his own cleanings which has allowed him to develop nice relationships with his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Malik for you and/or your entire family.

I was in the market for a new dentist and found Dr. Malik through proximity to my work and the outstanding reviews from other patients. I couldn’t of been happier with Dr. Malik or his team of Nadya and Marc. Marc took the time to walk me through how my insurance worked after my appointment which was very kind and helpful. Everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable. I look forward to returning in 6 months

Dr. Malik is excellent. I have been going to him since he took over the practice of my previous dentist many years ago. He stays up to date on the latest techniques and equipment, and is always introducing new technologies. For example, rather that using a drill for cavities he has a sort of sandblaster that is completely painless – even without Novocaine. I’ve only experienced it once in the last 20 years, but was shocked to discover what I thought was blowing air to prepare for the treatment was the treatment itself. I only had the one cavity because Dr. Malik is very focused on wellness and problem prevention, which saves his patients a lot of money and pain in the long run! I echo others who say he’s always on time, and his staff is friendly and professional. A few years ago he spotted something with one of my teeth that seemed minor but unusual. After looking into it further he realized my body was eating the tooth from the inside (resorption). That led him to check the rest of my teeth, where he found another. He recommended getting a dental implant on both sides and referred me to a wonderful periodontist (Dr. Lucas) for the work. All went well and I have not had any problems since. Perhaps this can best put it into perspective: to get to Dr. Malik’s office I have to travel about 45 minutes, no doubt passing many other dentists along the way. But I think the trip is worth it.
