Gentle and compassionate care during my first dental implant — I highly recommend this practice! I’m skittish regarding dental procedures and tend to get pretty stressed out. Dr. Ryan Colletta checked in with me throughout the entire procedure, and even followed up with me in the evening to see how I was doing! His team kept me comfortable; they made what could have been a tough experience into an easy procedure!

This man was a God Send!! He came in, on a Sat afternoon dressed in a suit, on his way to to Christmas party with his wife to put my 7yr olds PERMANENT 2 front teeth BACK in his mouth after he  knocked them out on his new bike!! Having come straight from the ER, u can imagine both me and my husbands stress and panic!! Both him and his wife were AMAZING, KIND AND INCREDIBLY COMPASIONATE!! Our son is now 13 and his teeth are doing great (knock on wood)!! We will b going back this summer to have my 16 yr olds wisdom teeth out!

SCV Oral Surgery group was recommended to me by my dentist. I had a wisdom tooth which, although was fully erupted and not causing issues, the gum line did not seal around the tooth causing open pockets at risk of future infections. I decided to go to a consult and met with Dr. Ryan Colletta. I loved his bed side manner and honesty. I loved that he was thorough and due to my extreme nervousness recommended that I go under general anesthesia, which I did. I loved that they give you “laughing gas” to relax you before putting you under. The ancillary staff are all awesome and friendly. They all make you 100% comfortable and treat you like you matter as a person. Dr. Colletta called the evening of my extraction to check in and remind me that if I have any problems or further questions to contact him. The office is clean and immaculate and I actually enjoy that there is no television in their waiting room to create unnecessary noise. I would definitely recommend this group to anyone needing oral surgery.

I *love* this place!!!  From the front desk to everyone in the back office, I have nothing but good things to say about each person with whom I have had the good fortune to interact. A couple of years ago I had a crown fall out (that was done by a previous dentist I used to see when I lived in Corona), and to my dismay not only did the crown come out but it took the post that it was attached to with it, as well as what was remaining of the tooth it covered!  As you can guess, my current dentist could not “save” the crown or the tooth.  My options were either to have a partial denture or an implant. Naturally I chose the implant, even though my insurance doesn’t cover them but would have covered part of the partial denture — I was not about to damage the two surrounding perfectly healthy teeth that would have been necessary for anchoring the bridge! So my current dentist referred me to two local oral surgeons’ offices that could perform the extraction of the remaining tooth (below the gum line) and insert the implant post. One of the two offices she recommended was Dr. Mower’s because she had members of her own family treated by them before and liked them. Everything from scheduling the appointment for the consultation all the way through my oral surgery and one week post-op follow up has been a pure joy!  I can’t believe I’m saying that about dental work, but it’s 100% true. I could not be happier with Dr. Colletta and his staff!!! I am without doubt one of the worst dental chickens on the planet!  Just the fact that I went TWO YEARS with a missing tooth should say something about how much I hate having dental work done.  TONS of anxiety, hate the sound of the drills, have a really hard time getting numbed up, etc. But Dr. Colletta and his assistants put me completely at ease.  They explained every step of the process, and even provided me with some anti-anxiety medication to take the night before my surgery! (THANK YOU!!!) The day of my surgery, I opted to have the general anesthesia as I wasn’t too keen on being awake while having a post drilled into my skull. All I remember of the surgery was sitting down in the chair and getting the little nose mask placed on me, and that was it!  Next thing I remember, I was home waking up in my bedroom and hungry, lol. But here’s the BEST part:  I had ZERO pain. None.  Not even a smidge. No soreness, no swelling, no bruising, NOTHING!  Dr. Colletta is AMAZING!  I only took two doses of the pain medication they gave me as a preventative measure. I never needed it, and by the third day I just took the ibuprofen to help prevent any swelling and the tiny bit of achiness I experienced (tiny bit as in a scale of 0 to 10, the achiness pain was barely a 2) on rare occasion. Let me be honest, having this procedure and opting for the implant itself as opposed to the partial denture is NOT cheap.  It’s actually VERY expensive, especially if your insurance doesn’t cover it.  But you’re not buying toilet paper…  You’re not going to get the “Implants in a Day! Only $800!” here.  You WILL get what you pay for!!! You use your teeth every day, and they will have to last you your entire life, so this is not an area to scrimp on and cut corners. If you have to replace a tooth for whatever reason, THIS is the oral surgeon to trust the job to!

I found Dr. Colletta through these yelp reviews, and today had a tooth extraction and implant procedure. The Dr. and staff are very professional, the offices are new and comfortable, and most important the visit was pain free. I sure appreciate how they take pride in their work and I was taken good care of, thank you again Dr. Colletta and staff. Also the Dr. called earlier checking up on me, letting me know to call if needed anything.

After a cracked rear lower tooth could not be saved re: root canal, I was in a lot of pain and quickly referred to Dr Ryan Colletta. It was late in the afternoon and the office staff graciously worked me into the schedule. Dr Colletta and staff were awesome. My wait (with no appointment) seemed like seconds. I was quickly numbed up to relieve the tooth pain and was prepared for the extraction. Dr Colletta removed the tooth in what seemed like a couple of minutes with no discomfort or pain. I admire professionals who have honed their skill and/or craft be it an artist or Doctor. Dr Ryan Colletta is one of these professionals.

Look, I hate the dentist. I avoid it until it’s too late. I cracked a tooth today and needed an appointment ASAP. My pain was out of control. I called them around 3:45 with my fingers crossed and to my surprise they said no problem, head in over. I got there and the staff treated me great. Super friendly and didn’t seem remotely upset that it was 30 min to closing on a Friday. Dr C was super easy to talk to as well. I had avoided the dentist for years and was very ashamed. Him and his assistant didn’t make me feel judged at all. Rather, I felt like I was talking among friends. After a few laughs it came time for business and he had to pull two teeth. Ouch right! Not at all! Dr C got me super comfortable. I didn’t feel anything! No joke! It’s been a few hours since and I still don’t feel pain. Never had an experience like that. Hands down the best guy in the business! Look no further and go here! The price was on point too. To top it all off Dr C just called me to follow up and check on me. It’s 7:30pm on a Friday… who does that! Good people who care that’s who! Anyway, can’t say enough good stuff. Thanks again everyone. See y’all next week for the follow up.

Dr Colletta and his entire office staff are wonderful and very professional. I required an implant post for an existing  crown that came loose from a previous dentist. The tooth required extraction and a bone graph in order to insert the post. Dr Colletta went over the entire procedure in our consultation. The office staff is very friendly, and accommodating. The surgery was painless and took less than an hour from arrival to completion. The office followed up with me that same day to make sure of my recovery. I highly recommend Dr Colletta and his staff
