I’ve always hated going to the dentist, but Seattle Sound Dental is friendly, painless, and efficient. I no longer hate going to the dentist. Dr. Tanner and all of the Seattle Sound Dental are amazing. My most recent experience was with Amy, Leeann, and Radmilla. All of the staff I interacted with was polite and friendly, which makes me as a patient relax. I was greeted by name when entering, and the staff remembered me from my past appointments. The staff gives good advice, enough so that I took their previous advice and my teeth and gums had progress from the previous year 🙂 Scheduling the appointment was easy, I set up an appointment online and had a call the following today confirming the date. I was able to get an appointment scheduled almost immediately. The staff followed great COVID practices. There was hand sanitizer when I walked in; my temperature was taken when I walked in; I rinsed my mouth with something to kill bacteria; and all of the staff was wearing masks. I appreciate all of that. I’ve had experience with Seattle Sound Dental in the past with deep cleanings and cavity fillings — those appointments were quick and painless as well. I recommend this place, I personally have only had positive experiences.

I have been a patient of Dr Tanner (and Seattle Sound Dental) for several years now. I have had a number of dentists, but NEVER have I had a dentist who is such a strong advocate for his patients. Dr Tanner has handled emergency calls outside of normal hours, even going so far as to call emergency offices when he wasn’t around, or texting to make sure I am doing so far. As if that wasn’t enough, he is THE most pain-free dentist I have ever had, which is an incredibly important thing for me. I didn’t even think it was possible for Novocain injections to be painless, but most of them are, somehow! I became a client before I moved out of Seattle, but I remained a patient — he is absolutely worth the drive. I’d drive to him from Oregon if I needed to. His office staff are absolutely top notch as well. Friendly, considerate, and also do fantastic work. I have zero complaints about Seattle Sound Dental; I will be a patient as long as I have teeth, which thanks to their care will be a long time.

Went very well yesterday when I went in to have 3 cavities filled. They were good about not shooting air at my teeth which hurts because they are sensitive. And the work was done in 30-45 minutes, the drilling and numbing was kept to a minimum. I was a client of the previous dentist, Dr Kahn, she and Dr Tanner both do good work, I plan to keep coming back.

Dr. Tanner and the staff at SSD did a great job helping me understand my insurance, completing preventative work without pain, and putting me in touch with other specialists. I didn’t feel pressured to sign up for any unneeded dental work as well – that’s been one of my past complaints with other dentistry offices. Would recommend.

Dr. Tanner and his staff are amazing! I have never had a teeth cleaning in the past that didn’t hurt because of my sensitive gums from my teeth receding. Not until now. On top of it, I didn’t even need gas for my cavity, no pain. Dr. Tanner is very concise, gentle, and very detailed. I’m very happy I’ve taken the plunge in changing dentists. I’m finally happy with my teeth for the first time in nearly 20’years.

As a transplant, it’s an intimidating guessing game to choose new medical professionals in a new city, so I chose Dr. Tanner based on the convenience of the office location (unbeatable for anybody who works in the downtown corridor). Safe to say, I’ll be coming back for all dentistry work based on the amazing service provided, as well as the incredibly welcoming and friendly environment!

This is probably the best dentist I have ever been to. I’ve been to several dentists who just go through the motions to get you in and out, but the people at Seattle Sound Dental seem to really care about your well-being and treat you like a person, rather than a means to make a buck. They are thorough with their care, up front about potential costs, and gentle with your mouth. Even if I move out of the downtown area, I will still make the trip to come here for my dental care. They are great.

I have been going to female dentist for the past 20 yrs. due to a fearful experiences growing up. I was apprehensive about seeing a new dentist and wasn’t sure about having a male dentist. After today – my negative experience with having a male dentist is not longer! During my exam, Dr. Nick Tanner identified that I needed a filling replaced. He provided me a thorough (easy to understand) explanation and showed me a picture of it. As he knew I was apprehensive and nervous about getting it replaced he offered me an evening appointment and I was able to get it done later that day. For my evening appointment, I let Dr. Tanner & Leeann know of my anxiety around the procedure and explained about my past experience. They both asked how they can help me through it. They supported me every step of the way. They were awesome – I plugged in and it was done in no time. I am really glad to see Seattle Sound Dental continues to have such a great supportive team!

I was so lucky to have the same dentist for 30 years, his entire period practicing, and a personal friend. But when he retired, I was lost. I tried continuing with the dentist who purchased my friend’s practice but I did not have confidence in him. Luckily for me, my friend’s dental assistant moved to Dr. Tanner and reached out to me. After 2 years without a dentist, I am now so relieved to count Dr. Nick and crew as my new go-to and that’s because Amy reached out to introduce me to Seattle Sound Dental. I was there today for 3 hours and felt confident I was getting the very best treatment possible. Can’t recommend highly enough!

The staff, and Dr. Tanner are the best! I’ve been a patient at SeattleSound Dental for at least 4 yrs, and have been extremely satisfied with their professionalism, willingness to work with my schedule, compassion, kindness, and best of all their fun attitude. I look forward to my appointments because I know I will always laugh, never feel pain. Dr. Tanner is the best dentist, and his staff is phenomenal. I highly reccomend Seattle Sound Dental!!!

I had a great experience at Dr Tanner’s office! Everyone was very welcoming as soon as I stepped into the office. The hygienist Rachel was amazing! She gave me the best cleaning I have ever had in my entire life! I’m not exaggerating. She was very gentle and thorough, and gave me a numbing gel that helped with my sensitivity making the whole cleaning a pleasant experience.
