This is a great place for all your dentistry needs. The staff is warm and friendly, and Dr Liao is very professional, smart, and a “kick-ass” dentist. I had an issue with an implant and I was surprised how fast they scheduled an appointment and had me fixed me up and out the door. I would  definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality dentist.

I have been going to Select Dental for years and have always had positive experiences. Recently, I experienced some pain related to some old and outdated dental work. Diana rearranged the schedule to get me in right away and Dr. Liao knew exactly what to do! Great office! I trust them completely and highly recommend. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Select Dental is nothing less than amazing. I went in for a cleaning and Erin, the hygienist, was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout my entire cleaning. I also had to get my first filling and chose to go back to Select Dental because of how great the experience with my cleaning was. Although i was really nervous about the filling and did not know what to expect, Shannon and Dr. Liao made me feel incredibly well cared for, kept me informed on all steps they were taking, and answered all of my questions. You can tell this office works as a team and everyone is very good at what they do. This is the only place i will go from here on out!

I’ve always hated going to the dentist until my visit today with Select Dental. From the moment I entered, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The dental hygienist was by far the most gentle technician I’ve ever had and the dentist was thorough and knowledgeable in her explanation of my questions. I’m so happy to have found a dentist here in Pittsburgh and am looking forward to my next appointment!

I’ve had consistently positive experiences with Select Dental. Their COVID-19 protocols make me feel safe, they are always friendly, and they do an excellent job with my teeth. At my most recent visit, Erin took great care to make sure I was comfortable and that my teeth were well cleaned. Both she and Dr. Liao checked on my well being repeatedly. (I also love their picks for background music and waiting room TV channel selection). Thank you!

The first time I went to Select Dental, I broke down in tears due to the aftermath of not going to the dentist regularly. EVERYONE at the office supported my meltdown. Needless to say, they have been my go-to ever since. Hands down the best staff – they know exactly what they are doing medically and professionally!!!! These are people I can count on, I could not thank them enough for their services!

I was very nervous about going to the dentist. They made me feel at ease and made my experience very painless and comforting. Understanding group of people who did everything to make me feel comfortable and knowledgeable about everything. Thanks Select dental! I have completed my care with select dental… I am so greatful to all the staff. That ALl made me feel comfortable and understood. I had not been to the dentist in quite a while and was looking for a dentist that could handle my specific needs. My first dental visit in years was great here! The staff and front desk were so nice, the facility was clean, and everything was clearly explained and detailed out. I was very impressed with the service and have told other people about my great experience here.

I am one of those patients that would avoid the dentist at all costs. Mainly due to previous dentists messing things up. My last dentist visit was close to 15 years ago and when I went to see Dr Liao because of an issue she created a plan of action to get my teeth to where they need to be. So if you are scared of the needles you do not need to worry. Dr Liao is really good. I have to say that I barely feel the needle. The soft touch care that she gives is top notch. I rarely write reviews for doctors but Dr Liao really deserves some kudos!! Also the team of Dr Liao and Shannon will really make you feel comfortable from the first to last minute you are there.

in these trying times I needed a dentist.From booking an appointment, to x-ray, exam and teeth cleaning I felt totally safe.The office manager Diana went above an beyond, Shannon the dental assistant was fantastic and Dr.Liao was probably the most personable and caring dentist I have met in my 62 years.I had an estimate in my hand for needed future work when I left the office. Great practice and very professional. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

Today I visited Select Dental to repair a horrible mess made by a well-known dental care chain in the area a couple years ago. Dr. Liao and her assistant Shannon worked for 2 long hours and in the end they totally succeeded. My situation required a lot of work and focus today. I have to admit I did not feel a bit of pain at any point and I was very pleased with the care I received. Before the procedure, Dr. Liao warned me about the likelihood of needing further treatment but she was able to solve my problem with just 1 visit. During the Coronavirus crisis, sterilization and sanitation are performed everywhere frequently, personal distancing and proper health screening before every visit are regularly performed, staff and patients wear all the needed protective gear required to operate in safety nowadays. Dr. Liao is a wonderful and caring dentist who I’ve been seeing for the last 5 years. I’ve gotten to know her personally over the years and always enjoy our conversations! She has always taken time to explain procedures to me and acted in my best interests when I was unsure about what my treatment options were and thanks to her I’ve been up to date on checkups. All the staff are quite friendly & I recommended them to my friends and family

Rushed in the other day in a panic with my gf, after slipping by the poolside and smashing my front tooth on one of the pool chairs. They got me in as soon as they could, and helped calm her down, reassuring both of us that they would help me to the best of their ability. After assessing the situation, Dr. Liao laid out all our options on the table, and addressed any concerns that we had. She was friendly and patient with the both of us and provided me with several choices to deal with anxiety, but I didn’t need them. I had been scared to death that the tooth would stick out like a sore thumb, since it was right up in the front, but my smile looks great again! It took me a couple visits altogether to finish up the treatment, but I really couldn’t be more grateful for how it turned out. In regards to costs, the office manager was clear cut with explaining insurance and billing, so there weren’t any problems when we finished up. After the wonderful experience that I had at this clinic, I definitely wouldn’t consider going anywhere else anymore.

Dr. Liao is an excellent dentist.  She’s very knowledgeable and skilled.  I’ve followed her from the last office where she worked, and I’m happy to see her running her own practice.  The fillings I’ve had done have been problem-free.  I highly recommend.  She has a warm and pleasant personality.

Great experience here. Their entire team is professional and you get a sense that they want the best for you. Diagnosis and treatments are explained ahead of time, any questions are answered without judgement. I appreciate this warm and welcoming environment. Prices are reasonable and insurance and billing questions are promptly handled. (Unfortunately?) I’ve had to go to dentists all around the globe over the years. This one is one of the best experiences I’ve had. I’ll be happy to recommend them to anyone. Professional, prompt and welcoming. These are exactly the businesses we should support. Cheers!

This was my first visit to Select Dental and it was amazing! I went in for a root canal and everything went smoothly. The office is very warming and cozy. Diana and Maggie were super friendly as were Jessica and Shannon! Jessica and Shannon did a great job explaining everything they were about to do throughout the whole procedure. Everything was clean and inviting, and there was some great background music playing today that helped keep me relaxed. And to top it off, the pen that they give you is one of the best pen’s I’ve ever gotten from a dentist office. I definitely plan to come back here for some future procedures I want to get done. Thanks again everyone for the great experience!

Everyone here is so kind and greet you with a smiling face! Dr. Liao explained everything in detail so that I knew what to expect out of each appointment. I was also greatful that billing and payment were printed out and talked through so I wasn’t blindsided by what I would owe. I’m glad I made the right decision when switching dentists

Oh my gosh, I can’t say enough about Jessica. She is as beautiful from the outside as she is on the inside. She makes going to the dentist something you actually look forward too. She is warm, gentle and caring. The atmosphere and staff are comforting. I just can’t say enough about this place and to top it all off my teeth have never been cared for more. I am so happy I found you Jessica.

Coming from someone who had bad experiences and wouldn’t go to the dentist for years because of it, I can honestly say they really put you at ease.
