My wife and I have entrusted Dr. Marchan with our dental health for many years, and we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Even now, when there’s a move to Tallahassee on our horizon, we’ll gladly make the drive from there to Jacksonville, just for Dr. Marchan. She, and every member of her staff are filled to overflowing with gentle kindness and genuine empathy. Once you’ve had an appointment here, I think you’ll agree that you’ve found your lifetime dental provider. Oh, and they’re all ‘closet comedians’, too. Give them half a chance, and they’ll make you cry from laughing so hard as they banter back and forth during your appointment. It’s not fair, either – Dr. Marchan loves to get me going while my mouth is jacked open and I can’t fire back. If you read this review, and you decide to give Dr. Marchan a try, ask her to explain what ‘dental worms’ are…her response will give you a very clear picture of the character, warmth, and humor to be found in this office. The office is almost Zen-like in its calming effect. The office hours are designed to accommodate working families, but there’s a hard rule that they’re closed on Fridays, so that Dr. Marchan and her staff can further their education and skills. Don’t misunderstand, though – everyone in this office is HIGHLY skilled; Dr. Marchan is adamant that a medical practitioner must continually update their skills as dental procedures and practices evolve. I hope you find this review helpful, and it helps you make the decision to also place your trust in this very skilled practitioner. Honestly, Dr. Marchan and her staff feel more like much-loved friends instead of our family dentist. I totally understand and agree with another reviewer’s comment that it’s the best general dentistry office in Jacksonville.
