Dr. MacBeth provides the best service I’ve experienced in any field. I was accustomed to a cleaning and a free toothbrush. They are using state-of-the-art equipment to provide total dental health. An hour and a half visit that included a full consultation, braces information, X-rays, and cleaning was $40.00 co-pay with Blue Cross Alabama. Diane, the Office Manager, promised me coffee- and when their machine was not setup yet she ran to STARBUCKS! (My girlfriend wouldn’t even do that.) Please check them out. I specifically asked for business cards to handout at work!

Oh my goodness. I don’t love going to the dentist but this was a GREAT experience. Super thankful for Dr. Macbeth and Aileen and all of the Shades Creek Dental staff. They had some awesome COVID-19 protective protocol in place and I felt very safe – super thankful for this! They are also very educational when going through the cleaning and check-up process – very helpful! Would highly recommend Shades Creek Dental to anyone looking for a dentist in the Birmingham area!

Dr. Macbeth and his entire team (such a friendly staff) go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, informed and safe during a dental procedure. He also has the very latest in dental technology so things take less time and you can really see the “picture” of what is going on in your mouth. If you are in need of a dentist, I would highly recommend Dr. Macbeth at Shades Creek Dental. Every member of his staff was extremely friendly and professional with every encounter. I enjoyed his clean, modern office, and the coffee and beverages they offer. Dr. Macbeth took the time to ask what I wanted in my smile, to explain to me steps that I could take myself, and what his office could offer me in the future. And when he let me know that I would need a small additional procedure, he was able to do it same visit, allowing me to avoid an additional visit! I would recommend Dr. Macbeth to everyone!

Shades Creek Dental has been the most pleasant dental experience I have ever had. Even as early as my initial contact (phone call) I felt at ease. From the hygienist all the way to Dr. MacBeth, they listened to my concerns, and went out of their way to make sure I was heard. I also have a few things with my smile that I am self conscious about, and Dr. MacBeth ensured that he provided a phased treatment plan that covered all of my concerns while also taking care of the essentials to save me money in the long run. I would recommend Dr. MacBeth and his staff to anyone as far as 1 hour from Birmingham. This office is worth the drive!

I just started going here today and had a great experience. There were so many precautions taken due to COVID and I felt extremely safe and comfortable. My hygienist, Susanne (aka Twilla) was amazing and extremely thorough. I have pretty bad dental anxiety and she made me feel relaxed and at ease (nitrous also helped). I really liked Dr. MacBeth and he was very informative about an issue I may have in the future. I felt like he really cared and took time with me. Highly recommend!

I had a great first visit. I am excited for my next appointment. The office itself is new construction and beautifully designed. Kathy at the front desk reached out immediately after I completed my new patient forms online. She followed up with me again to work me in their schedule before the holidays. Rhonda was the best hygienist I have ever had. Her cleaning was through and even included a gum massage. She was also made sure to explain everything that she was doing. Dr. Macbeth was very nice. He is using the newest technology to provide the best service. You can also tell that he treats his staff with respect.

Had a great experience both with my cleaning as well as placement of a crown that I needed. Dr MacBeth and his staff did a great job of explaining what was going on and have technology that allows for visualization of the issues, which I really appreciated. Dr. Macbeth and the entire staff are beyond wonderful. I was a new patient in June and then last week I started having a problem with one of my teeth. The office was closed Friday and Dr. Macbeth called me and phoned in an antibiotic. He asked me to call back Monday morning and Kathy would fit me in. I called and Kathy said to come on in. I had a great experience having a root canal and a crown done at the same visit! (I know root canals don’t sound fun, but when you have someone knowledgeable and caring, they are not so bad) Also, leaving his office with a completed root canal and crown, was great for my schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Macbeth’s offce!!!

I had a lot going on with my teeth and was initially concerned that veneers or crowns would even be an option for me……a gap on each side (on top), an old bridge and a decayed molar. For the first time in over 30 years I had to find a new dentist when mine retired. I am so happy to have found Shades Creek Dental. Very modern equipment with the latest technology and a staff that made me feel welcome and comfortable from the very first time I called.
