I HATE going to the dentist. I especially dreaded my first visit with Dr. Shah-Khan, as I had been putting off some dental problems. BUT my experience was amazing. The location is in a really cool old building (not your standard office) and there is just a very welcoming demeanor. The staff went above and beyond, the customer service is totally on point and they didn’t guilt trip me because I have cavities and don’t floss twice a day. I did end up having to get a lot of work done and they were a tremendous help figuring out the best surgeon for my budget and insurance and even worked out a payment plan so that I could get everything fixed and not go completely broke. Just really great dentist, quality work and great experience all around.

Dr. Shah Khan has been my dentist for 14 years and I do not believe that you will find a better dentist in the Charlotte area. He and his staff are both competent and efficient and I truly believe they always place the patient’s interest first. Dr. Shah Khan has done multiple crowns and bridges for me with no issues and we are currently working on my second and third implants. If you are looking for the best Dr. Shah Khan will not disappoint.

I had an emergency situation with a crown that came off, that was initially put on MANY years ago from a different dentist. Dr Shah-Kahn was highly recommended by multiple memebers of my family. Dr Shah-Kahn and his staff were so kind and prompt with not only getting me in the office first thing in the morning, but also once I was there, I was treated with such kindness and understanding of my situation. I am so grateful for them, and will be making them my dentist going forward.

Dr. Shah-Khan’s dental practice is top notch. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I began using this practice when Dr. Katco owned it, and he was excellent. When Dr. Shah-Khan took over, the excellent dental care continued uninterrupted. He is a highly skilled practitioner and has the best staff anywhere. All of them. Run, don’t walk, to this practice! It is a small, quiet office with the most professional and caring staff. I have struggled my whole life with fear of dentists, but no more. They are very attuned to anxious patients like me, and I know that I will not experience pain.

I’m not going to say visiting the dentist is my favorite activity, but thanks to Dr. Shah-khan it’s no longer an anxiety inducing ordeal. I’m not one of those (annoying) people with perfect teeth who’ve never had a cavity. I have been to several dentists and had lots of cavities and dental work in the past. Dr. Shah-khan differentiates himself by taking his time. He’s meticulous and really explains what’s going on. My last dentist wasn’t great about any of that so I was always wondering what in the world was happening. And he’s very patient when I give him vague answers about what hurts or what something feels like. The entire staff is very professional and friendly. I recommend this office with great enthusiasm.

My husband had a dental emergency and as a new patient was seen on the same day by Dr. Shah-Khan. The doctor and his entire staff went above and beyond the norm to address the emergency. Each procedure was thoroughly explained from insurance coverage to state of art in-office crown development. In addition to Dr. Shah-Khan’s professional strength he possesses a very kind, calming and generous personality. As a result of my husband’s experience, I joined this practice and will continue to recommend the practice to friends and family.
