We started going to Dr. Mateja’s office when my son was 3 years old. He is now 28 and engaged to be married soon. That very first day of our visit, my son, being only 3, was very anxious. Dr.Mateja held his hand and took him for a walk outside the office. Since then my son walked to the dentist chair relaxed and not needing his mom’s support. He now lives in Redondo Beach but still comes to Dr. Mateja’s office for dental care. We are family in this office, the staff are very friendly and professional. They make sure each visit is comfortable and and efficient. No time is wasted in the waiting room. Being a nurse, i truly appreciate their regard for up to date technology and prevention of cross contamination. Their level of care and personalized service is outstanding! I referred one of my best friends to Dr. Mateja’s office and they are as impressed as I am with their service. Her husband, who used to be very afraid to see a dentist, is now a happy camper!

I have been a patient of Dr. Mateja’s for approximately 20 years. She is very personable and makes you feel very comfortable. She cares about her patients and personally calls to check up after procedures. She is also a perfectionist. I travel over 3 hours from my home to her office because she is the best dentist I have ever encountered. Her staff are all amazing as well. They make you feel comfortable and are concerned about your well being. I will continue to travel a long distance to Dr. Mateja’s office and be a patient as long as she remains in practice. I would highly recommend Dr. Mateja to anyone who is searching for an amazing dentist.

Definitely the most thorough and conscientious dentist I have ever been to. She truly cares about her patients and always put the patients particular needs first. I give her my highest recommendation!

I wrote a review in 2012 regarding Dr. Mateja’s dental practice  and I wanted to submit an update.  I am not a regular writer of reviews,  but I wanted to say that this dentist is ” as good as it gets”.  Dr. Mateja and her staff keep up with the latest developments in dentistry procedures and products and this,  coupled with their depth of experience,  makes for the finest possible care.  They continue to be very sensitive to my specific needs,  and take all the time needed to teach preventative care.  They are excited when there is a good checkup!  I continue to be very impressed  with this dental practice.

Needed emergency treatment to replace a veneer that popped off and my dentist was out of town. He recommended calling Dr. Mateja, and I’m glad he did. They fit me in immediately. I was greeted and welcomed by all and received excellent care. I would highly recommend Dr. Mateja and her staff!

Outstanding and understanding.  We are a large family with small children.  We are elated with the service.  They never leave me waiting in the waiting room.  I show up on time and go on right back.  Dr. Metaja is skilled and painless.  The hygienist Sandra is very caring and friendly.

The best! Staff excellent! You can tell she truly enjoys her work. We needed a new dentist due to relocation. I read about her in the Inland Empire magazine. I gave her a call and she explained her practice.  It is great that she is not part if a dental group. So you see her every time.

Dr. Mateja is an excellent dentist that I have been seeing since I moved to southern California in 2008. She is well trained (Loma Linda), extremely knowledgeable, and very personable. All her staff is wonderful, too, and they put you at ease the moment you walk in the door. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Mateja. If you are in need of a general or cosmetic dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Mateja.

Dr. Mateja and her staff are simply the best! I have had dental issues my entire life. Crown after crown, dentist after dentist. Dr. Mateja’s crowns are the best I have ever experienced; the fit, feel, and look are superior to any other I have received over the past 20 years. It’s no wonder dentists go to her for their dental work. You can’t beat having a professor as a dentist either. I don’t need to worry about quality because she is perfectionist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mateja for over 5 years and I have never been so impressed by another dentist. She has an artistic eye and her gentle and compassionate nature that puts every patient at ease.  Dr Mateja is meticulous and I would trust no other dentist to treat myself or my family.

Dr. Mateja and her staff are wonderful!!!  I highly reccomend them to any patients looking for a new dentist because they are professional, knowledgeable, and they take great care of you and your teeth! Not only did they teach me how to brush, floss and care for my teeth the “right way”, they leave no stone unturned when it comes to taking care of you and your teeth.  You will leave their office knowing so much more about your teeth then you ever thought possible! This dental office is high class, top stars, all the way!  Can’t recommend it enough!

Best dentist I have ever been to hands down. My appt was at tooth hurty (2:30) lol. I came in with a lot of pain and she wanted to get down to it right away. Turns out I had to go to an endodontist for root surgery but they called and set my appt right away.  I work in customer service and you can tell she loves what she does and it feels like she’s a cool aunt I never had. She even called to check up on me. Love her !

She’s a great and very competent Dentist and you’re in very good hands. She’s a little pushy and tries to up-sell you on tons of crap you probably can live without so just say “NO” firmly 1000 times and then perform a banishing spell and then hide somewhere far far away and she’ll probably let it go….maybe. Sandra her hygienist is amazing, funny and top notch also….actually I love Sandra…the best. She speaks to her staff a little abruptly but they’ve all been working there a very long time so I’m sure its of no concern so pretend you didn’t hear anything unless you see them trying to strangle her then you might want to intercede.

Been going here since I had my first teeth. I’m 26 now. I drive all the way from LA just so I can still see Dr Mateja and her team. So sweet and very gentle , they feel like family and treat everyone this way. The hygienist is the best !…. -Michelle C

Dr Mateja has been my Dentist for over 25 years ! If you want a Dentist that is a perfectionist she is your best choice . She is thorough with her exams , and the office is always clean and welcoming . Sandra the hygienist is also so great , I actually love having her clean my teeth- lol. I recently had a cold sore and I remembered her telling me during an exam they could treat it with laser . I called in a panic and they squeezed me in and did laser and it helped the healing and duration so much .

This entire office staff, Dr. Mateja’s care and Deanna’s lovely personality is amazing to stay the least. They are far above par in every aspect of dental care and bedside manner. I hit the jackpot finding her. Dr. Mateja is an awesome and well educated dentist and she may secretly be a yoga instructor. I’ve never felt more calm, and trusting of ANY other dentist EVER! Everyone should take a bow and continue to follow Dr. Mateja’s lead. Love them all!

Dr. Mateja has been my dentist for the last seven years. I drive over 45 minutes just to visit this office. The staff is very friendly. The hygienist is very detail oriented and thorough. Dr. Mateja and Dr. Kueckels are constantly going out of there way (beyond the call of duty) to make sure their patients are happy and comfortable.

I went to Dr. Sharon Mateja’s office because I was desperate for relief after a bad visit to another dentist. I had been referred to Dr. Mateja by my aunt and uncle-in-law, who confidently assured me that Sharon was would solve my problem. I was quite hopeful, but skeptical because of my recent experience at another dentist. When I went to Dr. Mateja’s office, I was having trouble sleeping and driving because my teeth were not lining up correctly after the previous dentist performed a couple of procedures. It might sound funny, but it was seriously affecting my sanity at this point, and a total of two dentists and one orthodontist had not been able to help at all. I thought that I knew what was going on, but I wasn’t sure. I immediately noticed that Dr. Mateja’s office is very clean and hygenic, a sharp contrast to the previous dentist. The staff was kind and empathetic, which is very important to me. I provided Sharon with multipage summary of the situation and she read the whole thing, while highlighting and asking me detailed questions. At some point, she figured out what was wrong and pronounced that she had to reprogram my jaw alignment. I was still very skeptical based on the pains and pressures that I was feeling in my mouth, but I was hopeful, as always. Two cotton balls and ten minutes later and my jaw was fixed. 🙂 🙂 🙂

My family and I have been not just patients, but family, with the amazing staff at this office for over a decade. The level of care and concern for our health is outstanding, Dr. Mateja believes in prevention and taking care of problems when they small. Her high expectations of excellence for her staff as well as herself is unparalled anywhere and makes going to the dentist something to look forward to!

I had the pleasure to work with Dr Mateja for 7 years. She is an expert in the field, and her precise work has made her one of the most sought after dentists in the area. She has a gift when it comes to cosmetic dentistry, and is also very proactive when it comes to preventative care. I give her the highest recommendation possible. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dental care.

I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Mateja when I did. I was a first time “walk-in” patient at 8:00AM with no appointment with a major dental emergency! To my surprise they immediately took me in to evaluate my situation , Lisa’s and the rest of the girls bedside manner Immediately put me at ease about the situation. And they scheduled a appointment just a few hours later which was a great relief to me given my situation. Once I met Dr.Mateja, She made me feel even more at ease. She quickly went to work and repaired and reset the damaged and poorly done bond work. I could just tell by her mannerisms I was in good hands After just a couple hours I was back in shape and better than before. I was really amazed!
Not only did she repair the original bond but she made it look 1000 times better! And in doing so with just a little needed adjustment she was even able to correct my bite!

I am new to the area and needed to find a dentist FAST for an issue I was having with a crown.  I call Dr. Mateja’s office and they were so accommodating!  I got in immediately and didn’t have to wait a minute.  The staff was so warm and welcoming, Dr. Mateja is fantastic and the office is very nice.  I will continue to visit this office for my dental needs and so will my entire family.  I highly recommend this office!!

I have never met a dentist who enjoys her work more than Dr Mateja. She strives for perfection in every procedure. She is extremely professional, very knowledgeable and has the best interests of her patients at heart. I always have total confidence that she will do her very best work for me. In addition she has gathered a talented professional group of support staff who do an excellent job of assisting her, hygiene, and handling insurance questions.  I have moved and now live 30 miles from her office, but have no interest in changing to a dentist physically closer to my home!

I absolutely recommend Dr. Mateja and her staff. They’re fantastic. Dr. Mateja is smart, professional, knowledgable, and yes, a perfectionist–something you truly want in a dentist. When I first started going to Dr. Mateja I knew I needed help. I had ignored problems until I found someone I could trust. She’s been all that and much more. Not only did she do amazing work, but she slowly got me to improve my dental habits. That’s the mark of an amazing individual who truly cares about her patients. I have been going to Dr. Mateja  for 5 months now. She has restore my confidence in myself & most of all trusting a Dentist again. She & her staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable & truly listen to YOUR NEEDS! They go above & beyond that extra mile. I truly have to say that Dr. Mateja is the BEST Dentist that I have ever been to in my life. Being self-employed I have now referred several of my clients to her office & will continue to do so. She has me as patient for LIFE. I was referred to Dr. Mateja by a friend when I was in search of a new dentist about a month ago.  I had never heard anyone say that they “loved” their dentist…but now I see why.  Dr. Mateja and her staff are courteous and personable in addition to being thorough and professional.  I receive prompt replies to messages left for the office.  I hadn’t been in for a dental check up in over a year and knew I would need to have some intense work done.  I had the most thorough dental examination I have EVER had; detailed history,  BP check, XRAYS, photos, extended amount of time with the Dr, education, treatment plan of care, etc.  Dr. Mateja prioritized my treatment and asked for my opinions as well.  I joked that I should have recorded my first session because I learned so much on my first visit.  If you are in need of a new dentist or unhappy with your current provider, here is where you ought to be.

Went to Dr Mateja’s office after doing online research of Dentists in the Inland Empire area.  Found several great reviews of Dr. Mateja and her staff and also researched her educational and professional background and found it to be impeccable.  Her knowledge, professional  manner and interest solving my dental issues was well beyond my expectations.  The office is filled with positive energy and great people and you can feel the passion that the staff has for taking care of their patients.  Love this place.

I have been coming to Dr. Mateja’s office for over ten years now. Dr. Mateja, Jenn , Deanna , Lisa, Erika and Sandra are amazing! Every time I come here I feel like family. I will not let anyone touch my teeth except these ladies. They provide excellent care and it is always patient centered. I have come in numerous times over the years to fix chipped teeth, for fillings, retainer adjustments etc. They do it all! I always leave the office happy with my work that was done whether it was work done by Dr. M or a teeth cleaning by Sandra. I can’t tell them how thankful I am for taking such great care of my teeth. My entire family comes to this office and we will never be leaving. Aside from the amazing work they do, the office looks beautiful! It is always well kept up and clean! Free wifi is always a plus as well! Appointments are easy to book and they ALWAYS accommodate me and my busy schedule. I can’t thank Dr. M and her team enough. The least I could do was brag about her on here! Keep up the great work ladies!
