Dr. Bhuva is absolutely incredible! Have been going to her for almost 15 years and she is a wonderful dentist. She’s patient, thorough and ensures any treatment is done right and that you’re comfortable in the process. Every time I go in, I know she will do what’s best. In fact, while many dentists may be quick to do expensive dental work, she’s the opposite. For example, I had a cavity but it was at a reversible stage; instead of filling it, she suggested that I take active care and that the cavity could be managed without having to fill it. She’s wonderful and so is her supporting staff. Highly, highly recommended!

Started working in SF recently, so have been meaning to find a dentist based out of this area since it makes it easier on the work schedule. Good thing I found Dr Bhuva, couldn’t be happier with the experience the other day. Usually I’m a bit skiddish on new dentists because often times they seem more like salesmen then dentist. Fortunately, Dr Bhuva wasn’t like that and I actually left the office feeling like I didn’t get ripped off. The building itself is an older one, but their dental office seems state of the art. The location is great if you work in SF as well. During my visit, I was in and out in about an hour and will definitely be going back in the future should my teeth warrant as such!

I should have written this review a long time ago. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bhuva’s for the past 5+ years. Here is a quick bit of insight: 1) Monica – Do you have gum issues? Do you seem to keep having oral issues despite your best efforts? Monica is the most AMAZING hygenist! Before I met her I was brushing 3x a day and flossing after every meal, yet continued to have issues. She was able to diagnose my issues, identify my weak spots and teach me how to overcome them. You might laugh at my ignorance, but you also probably have gingivitis, and i don’t. My wife and I moved to Ohio and we still fly back to SF to have Monica clean our teeth. 2) Dr. Bhuva – Do you trust your dentist? I TRUST Dr. Bhuva. She never EVER tries to sell you some crazy dental product you don’t need or an unnecessary filling. She is all about doing what’s necessary. Honestly, i don’t even have to see Dr. B anymore because Monica keeps everything in tip top shape. 3) The office staff – they ALWAYS fit me in somehow. I have no idea, how they work their magic. I also appreciate all of the confirmation emails and calls. They are very fastidious. When I walk in they greet me by name and a smile. You can get down with Dr. Bhuva and Monica or get down with some donkey dentures. Your choice.

Hadn’t been to the dentist in years, but looking to get back on track. Dr. Bhuva and every one of her staff are amazing. I’m a couple of months into my Invisalign treatment (something I have wanted to do forever since my ortho left some gaps when I was a teen). I couldn’t be more impressed with each and every appointment and how smoothly everything runs.

I had been looking for a good, permanent dentist in SF for a long long time. Here are some things that I was able to accomplish in a smaller amount of time. -Grad school -Lived in 4 different neighborhoods -Met, dated, got engaged to, and married my wife I’ve tried numerous dentists. Some didn’t seem all that competent. Others gave me “hot box”-like high-pressure sales tactics, trying to convince me that I not only needed new work done, but that all my previous dental work needed to be RE-done. Dr. Bhuva is smart, friendly, and gives you the genuine sense that she actually cares about you and your mouth. She actually called a day or two after a routine cavity filling, just to make sure I was ok. SOLD!

I understand the Dentist isn’t a fun place for most, but every time I go here, it’s a pleasant, easy and informative experience. Their hygienists are professional, compassionate and incredibly smart. Yesterday, Inna took the time to educate me on what she was looking at in my X-rays, showed me the year of year change in one area, elaborated on the value of flossing (no lecture!) and how it could have prevented the cavity. I was so engaged, didn’t feel rushed and learned so much. Right there in the chair I complimented and thanked her for taking the time and interest in my future oral health. Definitely deserves to be recognized and worth sharing! Dr Buhva is great too, thankfully I have minimal experience with her, but know I’m in good hands when I go back for my filling!

I typically never write reviews, but felt that this definitely deserved one! Since I got Invisalign, as you can imagine I’ve been into the dentist office multiple times over the last year. And every time I visit, Dr. Bhuva and everyone at the office is super welcoming, friendly, and efficient. I was recommended to Dr. Bhuva over two years ago, and have had consistent good quality service every time. I highly recommend!

Dr. Bhuva and her staff were all excellent. I was a bit nervous about going to the dentist because I had not been in a long time, and Dr. Bhuva was awesome. Both her, and her assistant have EXCELLENT chair side manner, and were very accommodating and comforting. Dr. Bhuva clearly explained everything she was going to do before she did it, and was a pleasure to work with.

Best dentist I’ve ever had! I’ve never been a huge fan of going to the dentist (find me someone who is), but Dr. Bhuva changed that for me completely. Her calendar is usually very accommodating and I’ve never had to wait too long to get an appointment. The wait time at her office is also very quick, I’ve never spent more than 10 minutes in the waiting room, and I’m usually early to my appointments. All the staff there are friendly, easy to talk to, and very helpful. For every cleaning, her hygienist was very good and thorough. She also took the time to answer the many questions I had in a professional manner. I started using invisalign with her, and it’s been fantastic! She was always available by phone to answer questions. There was a minor hiccup in my invisalign use due to traveling, but she worked out a great solution. She even set up an evening phone appointment one day when I wasn’t available. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Bhuva more!

This review is long overdue! Dr. Bhuva is hands down the best dentist and she truly cares about her patients. Dental work can be intimidating, but Dr. Bhuva always takes the time to answer questions and thoroughly explain any procedures. The front desk staff is great, too. Lisa, Clara and Hannah are always great at helping to schedule appointments and calling to remind you a few days prior. I recently chipped my front tooth on a coffee mug at work. Of course it happened at the end of the workday, and I thought I would have to live with it all weekend until I could schedule an appointment. But Dr. Bhuva and her staff came to my rescue and had me in the chair and fixed within 20 minutes of my call! I couldn’t believe how accommodating they were, and it really says something about their practice. Because the office is located downtown, it makes it really easy to make lunchtime appointments. If you are looking for a dentist in the financial district, this is the place!

I had a great experience with Dr Bhuva and her team! I’m a new patient and was greeted warmly at the reception desk with a handshake from Hanna. I had already filled out my new patient forms online, so I didn’t have to wait at all once I arrived. After checking in, I met my hygienist Monica and she too greeted me with a handshake. (Everyone in the office is great and friendly) Monica was very thorough in the cleaning, while still being very gentle, and explained what she was doing next every step of the way. She always made sure I was comfortable. After my cleaning I had an annual exam/consult with Dr Bhuva. She too greeted me with a handshake and I always felt welcomed and cared for. Dr Bhuva didn’t rush through the consult and answered all of my questions. Overall an awesome experience and I’m looking forward to my future visits.

I love Dr. Bhuva! I found her through ZocDoc originally and have been seeing her for the past 2 years now. My husband also goes to her and loves her. I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past and when we moved from the south bay I was really sad to leave a great dentist we had found down there. So much so that I was considering making the hour and a half drive just to keep with him. But, now that I found Dr. Bhuva I don’t have to! She’s been great for regular checkups and the real test came today when I had to get 3 fillings done. She was a pro, I was in and out of there quickly and with no pain. The office staff is also wonderful and they always ask to see pics of our daughter. They really take the time to get to know their patients – calling everyone by name. If you need a new dentist, definitely see Dr. Bhuva and her team. She’s in the financial district, but also really close for Soma residents.
