Dr. Sherman was recommended by a physician friend who had him provide orthodontics care for her children.  He corrected issues with my bite (caused by an experience with another orthodontist) and made my teeth look great.   He and his staff are very professional and willing to be flexible with scheduling as needed. I have been going to him for years and am currently driving ~3.5 hours to obtain my orthodontics services from him (i.e., yes, he is that good of an orthodontist).   I have recommended him to my colleagues and highly recommend him to anyone who may be looking for a great orthodontist.

Thank you Sherman Orthodontics for turning my goofy grin into a bright smile! After checking out 3 orthodontists and NYU Dental School I know I made the right choice with Dr. Sherman. His busy office is clean, open-spaced and comfortable for both adults and youngsters. His busy staff is friendly and efficient; I never had any issues with appointments or scheduling. And it’s great that he has evening and weekend office hours. The key word here is “busy.” Dr. Sherman is knowledgeable, very experienced and focused on getting the job done. He told me it would take one and a half to two years and that’s exactly it how it went. He was thoughtful and planned ahead to minimize my days of socializing or going to work with missing teeth (it’s a very long story)–for this I am especially thankful. Not only is Dr. Sherman an incredibly friendly and polite (and not to mention talented) orthodontist, his staff is extremely accommodating and helpful. As an adult getting braces for the first time, I cannot think of a better orthodontist to have ushered me through the experience. I would recommend his Great Neck and New York practice to anyone, young or old, looking to correct and perfect their smile. Thanks Dr. Sherman!

From the first moment I walked into Sherman Orthodontics, I was blown away by the practice itself. Compared to other orthodontic offices I’ve been to, it’s Chic, very welcoming and simply beautiful. My first impression of Dr. Sherman and his staff was absolutely amazing. They’re warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Any questions and concerns I had answered  and everything was just made so easy and simple. So far it has been an excellent experience.

I have had the privilege of having three my children treated by Peter Sherman and his son David Sherman. They are both excellent at what they do. My two older kids have amazingly beautiful teeth solely as a result of the work that Sherman orthodontics did. Both of my older children had challenging dental problems that required surgical intervention. The moment they finished treating with the oral surgeon, Peter Sherman was able to obtain magnificent results for my kids. (His son had not yet join him at that point and was still in dental school.) My third child sees both Peter and David and it is truly a pleasure to walk into their office. Linda is a fantastic office manager who takes a true interest in you and your children. She gets to know you and your kids. The staff is always warm, inviting and friendly and they are pleasure to work with. My older kids get complimented on their teeth all the time. The only one I have to thank for that is Peter Sherman and Sherman orthodontics. Having great-looking teeth is not a luxury. It’s a necessity in today’s society. Anyone considering where to get their braces should look no further than Peter and David Sherman. They are, in my opinion, great people, intelligent, sensitive, hard-working and superb at what they do. The best part about writing this review is that nobody asked me to write it. I had a wonderful experience at Sherman Orthodontics and would highly recommend them for Invisalign. Dr. Sherman explained the process thoroughly and they offered a payment plan that fit my needs. The process was quick and I am beyond happy with the results. Everyone at the office was always friendly and knew me by name, which makes you feel important. They were always on time and I never had to wait for my appointments and most times I was in and out within 10 minutes. They also offer Saturday hours (pre-COVID, not sure if they are still offering it right now) which was really convenient for me since I work full time and didn’t need to take time off of work to stop in.

Dr. Peter and Dr. David Sherman provide the most comfortable experience possible. They utilize cutting edge technology that allows for quick and painless visits. Furthermore, they take the time to engage in their patients’ daily lives and build long lasting relationships with them. They are hands down the number one practice on all of Long Island!!

I highly recommend Sherman Orthodontics for any orthodontic work you may need. I am currently finishing up Invisalign but will come to them for any orthodontic work in the future! Dr. David Sherman has helped me achieve the smile that I’ve always wanted!! Right in time for my wedding!! Amazing, personalized care!

DR. SHERMAN is THE BEST!!! Not only does he do amazing work, he is exceptionally kind and thoughtful, and remembers every single detail about his patients. He put both of my kids at ease, and was equally wonderful when he did Invisalign for both my husband and me. The office staff is friendly and helpful, and extremely communicative!
