Dr. Barker and her staff are kind, concerned and considerate. The office is clean, appointments begin when they are scheduled, and you are always treated with respect. We switched dentists because of a change of insurance, but I would recommend Dr. Barker to anyone! There are two hygienists, so you can make two cleaning appointments at the same time, making kids appointments much easier. Dr. Barker listens well to your concerns, and takes all your issues seriously. I strongly recommend Dr. Barker!

I am a nurse, and was pretty scared to seek dental treatment during this pandemic. I was due to have a cleaning this past spring, and was buying time until a sensitive tooth became a very sensitive tooth. I knew I couldn’t put off going to a dentist any longer. A lifelong friend recommended Dr. Barker and the office was able to fit me in quickly. I was very impressed (from a nurse’s perspective) of how diligent the staff were at taking the necessary precautions for everyone to stay as safe a possible. Dr. Barker has a spotless office, with state of the art equipment, specially designed to minimize aerosol exposure. I was very impressed (from a patient’s perspective) of the time Dr. Barker spent with me, explaining in detail what needed to be done, and her kind demeanor. I am greatly appreciative of the consideration that was made for me as a “new patient”. I have already recommended Dr. Barker to a friend and to a relative. Thank you for taking such good care of me on such short notice.

Dr. Judith Barker and her entire office staff provide outstanding Dental Care. My family and I are completely satisfied with their caring, professionalism and commitment to their patients. My dental needs required a number of different dental procedures and Dr. Barker’s expertise produced outstanding results. The availability of Saturday morning appointments was another big plus. The office staff sends electronic reminders about upcoming appointments and works seemlessly with dental insurance providers. They are always pleasant , knowledgeable and accomodating. Over the years I’ve used a few different dentists, usually located near where I work. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Barker’s for nearly 3 years now and I have to say that she is the finest dentist I’ve been to. In three years I’ve needed work on a few different things including a crown, teeth whitening, and a slight realignment of my teeth using Invisalign. I have been extremely happy – her experience is clear to see. I have never been uncomfortable as a patient and her consultations have been spot on (consistent with guidance I have received from other dentist in the past). I came to Dr. Barker while I was under the care of a Periodontist, where I was receiving treatment for a receding gum line. Dr. Barker partnered with this specialist to coordinate care so that the issues have been resolved and I remain under her watchful eye. I have ever confidence in Dr. Barker and her friendly staff and I strongly recommend them.

I had been putting off beginning treatment with a new dentist. Dr. Barker’s office is a clean comfortable place. Staff was attentive, hygenist gave a thorough and pain free cleaning, and Dr. Barker examined my teeth herself at the end of the appointment. Pretty much all you can ask for in a dental cleaning. I cracked my tooth on way home from Va., called in the morning and Dr. Barker made space to see me that day and did an excellent extraction, (LOL, She told me she enjoys the occasional extraction.) Everyone was like really nice and kind, looking to be helpful wherever possible. The receptionist treated me like I was her nephew. A very family oriented office. I’d put Dr. Barker in “The Old Pro” category. She’s obviously been doing this for some years and has it down pat. She went to UPenn, so she’s super intelligent and well studied. At the same time, while very caring, she didn’t treat me like a baby, was willing to share any science I was interested in. She seems to enjoy what she does, which, as a Landscape Architect/contractor, is very important to me. I’ve learned that people who love what they do, will do their best work for me. I need some more work, so we made plans to sit down and formulate something that works well for my life and business schedule, along with an estimate for what the whole shebang might run. I don’t know about you, but getting an estimate from medical people is not always the easiest chore. So if you’re looking for someone who treats you like a human being, walks you through what is to be done before someone sticks an instrument in your mouth, sticks closely to her appointment schedule as possible, and is not over the top in price, Dr. Barker’s is the place to go. I want someone I trust working on me. She certainly engenders that feeling with a kind but straightforward “Chairside manner.”
