My review of Signature Smiles is overdue, but I can say with confidence that I am so happy to have found this place several years ago. The staff are very friendly, and Dr. Tung is warm and makes you feel comfortable. I have not ever felt rushed, even when they seem to have many patients. The big thing for me is that professionals are honest about work that needs to be done. Dr. Tung shows you what needs to be done and why. She works quickly and efficiently, and tries to accommodate individual discomforts, but it is the dentist!  I will continue going to Dr. Tung and recommend her!

I’ve never written a review on Yelp before, but I wanted to take a minute to write about Dr. Tung and her wonderful staff. I really can’t recommend them enough. Dr. Tung is gentle and knowledgeable and her staff are always so helpful and kind. They always clearly explains the costs of everything and have a beautiful office as well. I first found Dr. Tung in an emergency. I’d had a filling at a different dentist office a year before that had left one of my teeth extremely sensitive. Despite repeated returns, I was told the tooth was fine. I one on a trip on the other side of the country when I suddenly found myself in intense pain, with swelling on one side of my face. When I returned home, I knew I needed to see someone new in a hurry. I found Dr. Tung and she immediately found time to fit me in. Turns out, I not only needed a root canal, but I also had an infection and a cracked filling. Though it wasn’t in her schedule, Dr. Tung took the time to do enough of the procedure to get me out of pain that day. I’ve been back multiple times since, and the quality of care and the kindness of people there has never lessened. If you’re looking for a dentist in Northern Virginia, you absolutely won’t find a better place than Signature Smiles.

We moved to this area in the last year and my wife had not found a new dentist yet. Yesterday, she was knocked down and her tooth broken during an attempted mugging. It was close to closing time when we called on a Friday afternoon, but they said they would stay open for us. The whole staff was caring and helpful. Dr. Tung was especially compassionate and incredibly skilled; my wife says Dr. Tung is the best dentist she has ever seen. Looking at my wife I can’t tell which tooth is the crown and which are the real teeth (and I’ve lost some teeth myself!). The office is very nice and the dental equipment is the most advanced possible, but the care and compassion provided by Dr Tung made a very difficult day for my wife bearable. We have found our new dentist in Northern Virginia!

This is an outstanding dental practice and Dr. Tung is simply the best. Clean, well-run facility, all the most current tools and techniques, cheerful and very capable staff. And yes — massage chairs, and TVs on the ceiling! No sales pressure for unnecessary services, and the costs for  x-rays, cleaning, polishing and fluoride are amazingly low. I have been going to Dr. Tung for many years. For the first time in my adult life, I now stick with a six-month checkup schedule, because I finally have a dentist experience that is pleasant.

I always get very anxious when visiting dentist, but with Dr. Tung and her staff I can Honestly say they put me at ease and have made my experience phenomenal. Which I never thought I’d say about a dental office. Dr. Tung is very knowledgeable and caring when it comes to her patients dental needs. I will be coming back and recommend her office to everyone looking for a new dentist.

I’ve been going to Dr. Tung for about a year now. Excellent dentist with great staff. She takes the time to listen and she explains everything that needs to be done in an understandable way. I only had teeth cleanings, but every time it was done with care and patience. Her staff is very good, and does high quality work. I would definitely recommend Signature Smiles to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Everyone in this office is very kind and very considerate. They went out of the way to ensure that I was comfortable the whole time. What I appreciated most is that Dr. Tung asked why I left my former dentist and I told her that my last dentist was too sales-y and I wasn’t sure if I was getting good care because they kept trying to sell me things. From that point on she made it very clear that she was offering recommendations and that it was up to me how to move forward. She also showed me pictures to support her recommendations. Honestly though, mad props to her for even asking the question- no other dentist has asked me that. I also appreciated how Dr. Tung reviewed the basics of technique when it comes to brushing and flossing. She wasn’t condescending about either- which was much appreciated and actually quite helpful. It was clear that they are running a business, but it was also clear that the foundation of that business is excellent customer service. Also, I was wondering why this place had only 5 star reviews on yelp when I found it. Well, the reason is because the awesome lady at the front desk asked me how I found out about their office and asked me to write a review on yelp. At this point my experience is only positive so I can’t give it less than 5 stars. My teeth are clean and the people are really nice- what more do you need in a dentist?

I had a problem with almost every meal where food was getting stuck in between two of my teeth. Within minutes after being seated in the dental chair Dr. Pariana Tung, had diagnosed the issue and informed me what she was going to do to correct it so food could no longer get stuck in between those teeth. I left there with a cavity removed and filling that filled the space the food was getting trapped into which corrected the problem. For the first time in months I ate without any food getting stuck in my teeth! Thanks Dr. Tung.

Dr. Tung is amazing! I came to her for a second opinion and was floored with her professionalism as well as how accommodating she was to me. I’ve struggled with my teeth my whole life & I didn’t feel judged by her at all. She made me feel like a priority and me feel at home throughout my entire appointment. I truly & honestly feel like she is the best & kindest dentist I have ever been to!

I can’t say enough about this place and the people that work here. They always make me feel comfortable. Dr. Pariana Tung and ( Dental Hygienist /Assistant) have been absolutely amazing.. They are the only team I’ll ever trust with my teeth! I’ve been to many dentists and no one even comes close. I trust them inherently and recommend them without hesitation. The customer service, from dealing with insurance to scheduling appointments to friendliness, is the best I’ve had in any dental or medical office! Keep up the great work!
