I must say, we love our dentist. She is really a one stop dentist, her education is impeccable, she dies not only cosmetic, but implants, which my husband and I both have one. Takes care of all gum problems, and if you have any kind of medical issues i.e. Auto immune, such as I have, she takes on the responsibiliy to be medically familiar. My son has autism, and they are so wonderful with him, no gas needed, and my husband and he do suffer from gum problems, that are monitored. I have to admit that I was apprehensive about starting all over again with a new dentist when Dr. McCurry sold his practice to Dr. Kahlon. Dr. McCurry had a special style and I had a great deal of confidence in his abilities and knowledge. But the girls were still there: Stephanie, Marci, Melanie, Jerri – it was like family with the girls there and I did NOT want to lose that. I decided to at least go to Dr. Kahlon once and see if I could feel comfortable with her. For me, the dentist has been an exercise in anxiety and dread so my needs were high and my expectations low!! I will never be able to express how grateful I am that I decided to give it a try. There is something so soothing and peaceful about Dr. Kahlon’s “bedside manner” that I was shocked to find myself relaxing in her chair. To date, she has done just about every dental treatment in my mouth that can be done and I am a regular patient now. No need for the occasional helpers to calm me. If you, like me, have anxiety in the dental chair, do yourself a favor and give Dr. Kahlon a try. I am quite confident that you will be just as happy that you did as I am!! (I have to give my girl Stephanie a shout out here too! She is the BEST!)

When I married my Husband Frank , he pushed me to going to his dentist for I had just retired and moved to Lincoln, CA from San Jose. I was very impressed with Dr. McCurry. When I heard he was moving to another State I have to admit that I was not happy for I had never had a Dentist that was so knowledgeable with the latest updated equipment. I was curious about the Lady Dentist, Dr. Kahlon, that bought Dr. Kevin McCurry’s practice for I have never had a Lady Dentist put female fingers in my mouth or treated me !! I am very pleasantly happy with my experiences of Dr. Kahlon’s Office and Staff. Dr. Kahlon continues classes and has the most updated equipment where all is done in Her office. Which brings me to the most wonderful gift of Her office. I contracted TMG which was very, very uncomfortable. Dr. Kahlon treated my pain in jaw with a lazer machine. I went for treatment 3/4 times a week for 2 weeks. Each time I could open my mouth wider w/o pain. My last visit I shared with Dr. Kahlon and Her staff that the pain is GONE ! If Dr. Kahlon had not treated me for the TMG with laser, I would still be in pain. I could not even slip a grape in my mouth w/o it hurting very much. I am truly grateful for Dr. Kahlon’s treatment and her caring about me. The Staff makes the office setting like a family atmosphere. Stephanie is always smiling, laughing, making me laugh. She is contagious! Jerri, dentil hygienist, makes my visit and cleaning quite comfortable. We visit and the time flies by! Annie, is very helpful in answering any questions that I might have. I can call each one of the Staff with any question that I might have. It’s like visiting part of my family. I can’t say enough about Dr. Kahlon and Her Staff. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Kahlon. I know I’m in good hands !! Female hands ! Of course, the chocolate chip cookies fill the office with great smells!! Dr Kahlon is a wonderful Dentist. She took over the practice of a very popular local Dentist and she has done a great job. Dr. Kahlon is a perfectionist who is willing to spend the time necessary to assure that the care given meets her patient’s needs. When the first permanent crown did not fit properly, she took another impression and sent it back to the lab. Sandra at the front desk has been helpful in booking appointments to minimize my number of trips from Santa Cruz County. I cannot say enough about Dr Kahlon. She’s definitely the best dentist I have ever had. What makes her stand out is her caring attitude and you feel safe in her hands. I used to drive 40mins to see her. Now I drive 2.5hrs to receive my dental care as I feel she is worth the drive. Dental care is always stressful and painful. Dr Kahlon is very good at her job, so my stress level is low, her professionalism high. Her staff in San Jose are a very friendly and helpful group.
