Okay, so I provided a review on google but there are those that do not feel google may be real folks. So here is my review of Simmonds Dental. I have been to my share of Dentist in State and Out of State. The dentist I had before was a referral so I trusted that group and he was very good but they did not take the insurance my company changed to. I decided to look for a minority and female owned dental practice. Today I saw the hygienist for the first time. My experience with hygienist have been okay, each has a way of providing info about dental care or ways to brush your teeth. But 8 out of 10 hygienist that clean your teeth are so painful. Over the years I figured that was normal. I mean they are cleaning the crud that is left on the teeth from our way of cleaning our mouth and teeth. Hear me clear…. This dental center made me think and say out loud how is it possible that the dental experience can be so different. The details of this place all the way to the way they position the televisions in the exam rooms makes you go” how come nobody thought of that” My hygienist has a technique that is so thorough and painless. (now I have my own sensitivities that I bring to the chair), But this 5 foot tall woman was wonderful. I suggest you just go for a consult, when you leave you will change your dentist. This place is different from the door to the floor, every hand and face in the place shows you that quality is job one.

Dr. Simmonds and Dr. Catral has been our family dentist for several years now. This is after struggling and trying out 4 different dental practices. Simmonds Dental was a referral from my children’s Orthodontist and we could not be happier for the referral. Dr. Simmonds is great with my children, she put them at ease where they do not fear going to the dentist. Dr. Catral is a great addition to this practice. I came to the practice with a half completed implant – this was the 2nd time the implant was done – the 1st time was not done correctly and the dentist disappeared. The 2nd time half way through my treatment the dentist decides to sell his practice (did not inform me) and the new dentist didn’t want to help me finish what the other dentist started. Simmonds Dental helped me finish this implant even thought they did not start it. They had to do a lot of research and piece together what was already done to help me finish rather than tell me I had to start all over again. I have not have any problems ever since. Every one there is very nice and helpful.

Hands down one of the best dentist I have been to. I had a need for an emergency fix of a chipped tooth and got an apt. within a day! Yessenia took care of me and was A M A Z I N G ! Words do not provided the AW! I am in after my first visit to Simmonds. I have been to lots of dentist in my over 50 years of mouth life, some in other states. The one I have become out of network when my company changed dentist so I had to find another dentist and he was good. This place is next level in every detail of it’s operation. Angel the dental assistant that took a normal process like x-rays where we have come to except that freaking plastic holder to be uncomfortable; above and beyond the effort to make it less pain staking. If you want a Dentist and staff that is really thorough, with straight-talk, and full of wisdom and knowledge, then make the change now and make an appointment. Head to the yellow castle at the end the yellow brick road to see the Wizard at Simmonds Dental Center. You will be So happy you did.

Simmonds Dental Center is the best in Orlando. I’ve had quite the mixed experience with multiple dental centers but Simmonds takes the cake! When you walk in you are greeting by the most diverse and friendly staff I’ve ever met. Everyone there leads with their best foot forward and that leads me to the first person I came in contact there, Yessenia! She greeted me with a happy dance and such a positive attitude that caught me by surprise. Her friendliness put me at ease (I dreaded going to the dentist) and I was excited to get teeth work done I’ve put off for years. They take such care with COVID by communicating through text and sending you forms to complete before your appointment. In my case, I had to address a root canal. The process was a nightmare before Simmonds Dental with my first visit at a different center (NOT Simmonds) being a waste of time with them taking my money for X-Rays and not getting work done I paid for. My second visit was at a dentistry an hour away with the Doctor trying to upsell me on services I didn’t need while I couldn’t answer with equipment in my mouth. Simmonds is a breathe of fresh air with veteran workers who won’t try to upsell you but will provide you with essential service. Their office space is beautiful with up to date equipment and a fresh atmosphere. I loved the upbeat music they played while working and appreciated the TVs at all workstations for our convenience. This was by far the best dental appointment I have ever experienced. I believe I laughed so hard that I forgot to be afraid of the procedure I was going to have. I really appreciate the authentic bedside manner of Dr. Simmonds and the wonderful Ms. Yessenia. I certainly appreciate the follow up call I received the next day to confirm that I was recovering well. Dentist come a dime a dozen, however, good quality Dentist and genuine down to earth people who truly care are hard to find. Thanks for making this a great experience for me.

This has been the very best dental experience I have ever had. I hadn’t been to the dentist in years, until a root canal demanded my attention. And when the temporary crown broke (so much worry) Simmonds Dental worked me in for an urgent appt the same day. Every time I go, the staff is confident, competent and authentically kind. I most recently saw Angel, who provided the most comfortable full set of x-rays ever. And we all know how painful x-ray bites can be. Angel was clear and quick. As always, Dr. Simmonds is intelligent, personable and fluidly weaves education into her conversation. Going to the dentist can be a routine or emergency event. You might as well feel like you are being treated in a spa. This dental office is WORTH THE TRIP. Thank you, Simmonds Team!

And after having many terrible and traumatizing experiences with OTHER dentists, I thought pain and discomfort were the nom when getting your teeth worked on. I did some research and found Simmonds Dental Center. I wish I had found her years ago! Dr. Simmonds and her staff are CARING and very GENTLE. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Even after the first visit they treat you like family and make you feel they appreciate your business. The prices are also amazingly affordable. I do not write reviews often, but the Amazing Experience with my daughter at Simmonds Dental Center mandates that I do!!!! My daughter before going to Simmonds Dental Center was like many kids out there, terrified of the dentist; this was due to some bad experiences in the past. However, the warm, Patient, and absolutely phenomenal care of Dr. Simmonds and her team, gave my daughter a totally new outlook on attending the dentist and she no longer feels afraid…… and this is even after more than one tooth extraction!!! Totally Unbelievable change! We can not express enough how grateful we are to Dr Simmonds and her team, for this is invaluable to us beyond words!! Great Experience: The atmosphere and customer service really sets them apart. Everything from your conversation over the phone setting up the appointment to the follow up or interaction with the hygienist, you feel like it’s personalized and warm. They are very knowledgeable. First let me say, I’m the biggest baby when it comes to pain! My appointment today was the best (even when i was scary lol) Yessenia came and walked me to the back and she just made me smile and feel so comfortable before Dr.Simmonds came in. She is so sweet and caring with a personality like hers how could I be scared? When Dr. Simmonds came in my fear came back a little more but she reassured me that I would be fine, and (I was). I am over 50 years thriving, hence I have been to many dentist in my life (mouth) time even outside of the state of Florida when living in other areas. When I tell you the experience I had with my FIRST day of service from Simmonds Dental was AMAZING! Folks it was next level! In fact it was at a level I did not think was possible. Like the full mouth x-rays provided by Angel. We all know those plastic holders are uncomfortable but have come to just accept it as a part of the process. Angel finds a way to go above and beyond to make the process as comfortable as possible while she takes ALL those freaking x-rays. Then they also take photos of the teeth I have not had done before adding to the next level of being through. The Dentist. Simmonds. Hey if you want straight talk, and wisdom get you an appointment and follow the yellow brick road to the yellow castle at the end of the street to see the Wizard at the Emerald City of Simmonds Dental Center.

Absolutely hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had!! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a dentist. I haven’t been to the dentist in over 5 years and was in need of one. I’m so glad I found this place through yelp and it’s close to my home. From the moment I walked through the door, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However I was greeted right away and the lobby was so warm and welcoming. There is complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby as you wait. For new patients I recommend showing up early as there is a medical questionnaire that you would have to fill out. I showed up early and filled it out and lastly they took a photo of me for their records. I didn’t have to wait long before I was brought back in. I was given a thorough tour of the facility, which I really appreciate because I’ve never had that happen before with other dental offices. I also got to meet most of the staff and they made me feel very welcoming like I’m part of the family. They also give you a welcome gift bag which is a very nice touch. After my dental exam, Dr. Simmonds explained my problem areas and I’m glad I’m not a lost cause after all these years. She educated me on what I need to do and taught me a lot about my teeth. I’m very thankful for it. After my first initial visit, I’m very impress with everything. From the warm atmosphere to the wonderful staff to the professional and knowledgeable dr, everything was just great. I’ll be looking forward to all my future visits.

Couldn’t ask for better treatment of my last minute emergency(sort of):( Day before I crack/chipped part of my front tooth and started literally freaking out(for the luck of better word). I immediately begen looking via social media (Google Yelp) whats the best chance for me to be treated as soon as possible on such a short notice. I didn’t have to look far, when I called Doctor Simmonds Dental Center I was put at ease after explaining what just had happened to me. I had appointment scheduled first thing in the morning next day, and from the moment I walked in the staff made me feel like I was at home, needles to say Kiara was absolutely amazing taking the time to explain everything in detail before I was introduced to Dr. Simmonds for treatment, not to my surprise any more she shown top courtesy and mannerism you normally don’t expect in dental offices,at least I didn’t experience that before. Come to find out that proposed treatment plan for the rest of my dental work is very affordable and she set realistic expectations to ensure I was happy with my results. You will change where you go to get your “Teeth Cared For”. That practice is amazing from the door to the floor and every hand and face in the place will make you feel quality is job one.

My first visit was exceptional. The whole facility was so nice and clean, the nicest office I’ve ever seen before. They have refreshments as you walk in for you to help yourself. Yessenia was amazing! She gave me a tour of the place and told me how everything works. The patient room is different from typical ones, space is open, no door, and the layout was cool. There is a tv, so there is something to watch while they do their work. Yessenia made me feel comfortable through all the processes and also had some great conversation which helped me feel at home. Dr. Simmonds has to be the best dentist there is, she came in with a smile on her face, greeted me and talked about the problems I had, she told me everything step by step and left no details out. Then my hygenist Yan came to clean my teeth and made sure I was comfortable the whole way through. Needless to say, I more than enjoyed my experience at Simmonds Dental Center, the staff was more than friendly, the facility was top notch and the care was exceptional. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Dr. Simmonds runs a first class organization. I can’t recall ever being treated with such a high level of care by a medical organization. From Check In to Check out my experience at Dr. Simmods Dental has been the best dental experience of my life. When I initially called to make a new patient appointment, the scheduler was very courteous and promptly booked me for an appointment the very next day. My first visit was exceptional, from the front desk staff to the Dental Assistant which took care of me- Tyesha. Dr. Simmonds was fantastic- very warm personality. She took the time to talk to me about necessary steps needed to accomplish my dental concerns. And unlike my previous dental experiences- she had a very non-judgmental approach. The office manager Sandra was also awesome- worked with me to come with affordable payment plan. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist.
